If there were a downside to this place, it would be that there is too much to choose from. I made the horrible mistake of eating McDonalds before leaving the Tri-Cities, then driving to Spokane and stopping first at The Golden Corral. I just wasnt hungry enough! I still ate 2 plates and left the place feeling like garbage because it was just so good, but I recommend fasting for a few hours prior to eating at this establishment. Noteworthy items in the selection: The chicken and dumplings were by far the best thing in the whole restaurant. They make them just like my grandma used to, which I didnt think Id ever find again in this world (I should mention, shes not dead. She just doesnt cook much anymore.). They also had some fantastic beef stew, stupendous alfredo noodles, and the dinner rolls! Holy cow I could eat those rolls with that buttery spread for days. Just writing this is making me want to skip work tomorrow and drive back up to Spokane for a delicious lunch.

most of the food was great. I brought some good looking Chinese chicken stuff to my table and thought it tasted kind of strange so I had my mom and brother try it. I dont have a great sense of smell, but just smelling it, both mom and brother could tell the food was rotten and when I looked closely at it i could see white specks of mold growing on the food. I immediately lost my appitite. I showed the food to a guy working there and he said he would look into it. They took the food out from the buffet but they didnt do anything to reimburse me. I ate some nasty mold food and didnt want to eat any other food they had there after that. So I wasted $11 then had to go to Taco Bell to get some too to fill up my tummy. They could have at given me a discount or at least a free drink to wash down the rest of the mold stuck in my throat. I probably wont be returning

I usually have great times at Golden Corral but this last time I went I was harrassed for "not paying" even though I had, but the cashier lady didnt give me a receipt. She then had the manager talk to me just so she could verify I played. Then as we were leaving my friend forgot his phone. We went back to get it and the manager and waitress both said they had no idea where it was. The customer next to us told us they had taken our phone and brought it to the back. So we then asked again if they had our phone, and had a witness that saw them take it. They then gave it back and told us "How does it feel to be disrespected?" We were in complete shock. First we get accused of not paying and now the manager and waitress took our phone because WE were being disrespectful? Worst experience ever! Waitress was named Caroline and I dont remember the managers name.

Me and my grandmother went to the Golden Corral in Spokane on north division St. the service was amazing, but the quality of the food was terrible, most of everything was over cooked and was rather hard to chew and swallow, and the salad bar was very under par, the olives tasted off that i couldnt eat mostly anything from the salad bar, the mini steak sliders were tough and the bread was some what hard. only pleasurable experience was the service of some of the staff, other staff members had a sour to displeased look on their face. i would recommend they fix that restaurant up and have someone who knows what they are doing to handle and cook the meat

Food is good, so is the selection. However, I dont like how they greet you when you walk in. Its rather deceitful that the first thing they do is ask you what you want to drink. It seems rather innocent but this is a buffet and you have to pay extra for your drinks. They werent going to mention it at all to me until I asked them as she charged me more than what the dinner cost. It could be devastating if you had a big crowd with you and you only planned on say 1295 a person 10 people thats an extra 25 bucks wow! Yeah I dont like it went a business goes that route.

Really. Golden Corral 5 stars? Yes. Rarely does a restaurant exceed my expectations by this much. No it isnt fine dining but I have nothing bad to say about the place. Staff was friendly and helpful. I found the place to be clean. I thought the variety was exceptional and the food was much better than I was expecting. I also hate eating in loud places (Twigs Wandermere) There was even sound attenuation paneling that helped keep the noise down. I would not hesitate to recommend this place, especially for someone trying to feed a large group or family.

Whenever my relatives decide to eat here I get that sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach. It is the smell that is so overpowering. I constant fluctuation between bleach products and fried food is nauseating...even if you are not pregnant. I have yet to be seated at a clean table. Although the ice cream machine is one of the few things I can handle by the time I get to it later in the evening there are gross little fingerprints over everything and ice cream dripping all over the machine. The plates are usually dripping wet.

Food was good, wish they offered more healthy choices , with out gravys, not fried, ect. Things are a bit salty. I really dont understand why they changed the salad bar around. They put the lettuce in the middle right where everyone is entering and it ends up clogging up right there. Then they put the dressings in the middle so you have to put everything on top of the dressing. The layout is redicioulous. Several people were in line complaning. I hope they see this and change it around for the convenience of their customers.

Used to be our favorite restaurant, hands down, but things have really deteriorated over the past couple of years. You can tell corporate is really trying to breathe new life into the chain with special efforts like "prime rib" night, but all that does is inflate the prices. I honestly dont feel like paying $20 for bland comfort food (after drink & tax) just because I chose the wrong night. Dont get me wrong, I dont DISLIKE Golden Corral, I just think its gotten way overpriced, with nothing to justify the increase.

Fat everywhere man throwing up in bathroom was good entertainment. Sea of gluttony. Pink and Blue cotton candy people! Try the bourbon street chicken prime rib should be primordial ooze rib. Blue cheese taste like ranch or was it ranch? Rolls were good soft and warm just like my own. Definitely worth two insulin shots. Had front seat view of the high energy performance at the chocolate wonderfall created in head data graph of most dipped treats strawberries were # 1 with marshmallows in close second.

This place is pretty great, but in all fairness how hard is it to be good when your a buffet. Golden corral offers a very wide selection of food, from a taco bar, a grilled barbecued area. Not gonna lie my Highlight of my night their was the desert, I definitely recommend the pies, served cold. Now Im not Gonna a lie being skeptical about this place when I was very young naming the place scarf and barf, this place is definitely in the top 2 of Spokanes Buffets
