Coming from New York I’ve seen a lot of buffet places and this one is still the one I go to in Omaha. With any restaurant that gets popular, they get people from all over the place. If you want 5 star quality you want to go somewhere else. Every Buffet place will have that occasional plate of food that is under cooked or over cooked or too salty or fine something to not like. However, there is their Mongolian grill and you can mix and match a lot of fantastic combinations to your personal liking, watch them cook it and have as much as you want and its all part of the one buffet charge. The food is really worth the price, the service is decent for a buffet restaurant of its kind and it’s my first stop to invite friends to for a fun time. But remember, its a buffet restaurant and have fun.

AWESOME SERVICE & FOOD! I have never been a fan of buffets and this is my first time writing a review. China Buffet is the only buffet I will go to! The food is fresh & is switched out regularly so it never sits too long. The quality & variety of the food is amazing not to mention the low price for the buffet. The servers are the sweetest young ladies & honestly provide some of the best customer service I have ever received. I will say that if you ever go there you will not be disappointed & even though you serve yourself food, you still should be tipping 20%. From what I noticed I was one out of maybe 10 people in the entire packed restaurant that left a tip. Take care of the servers because they provide some of the best service in town.

Wonderfully friendly, excellent food! My experience there has been wonderful every time Ive. When we walk in the door we are greeted by a host, the host seats us and takes our drink order. All the hosts have been extremely friendly, Pleasant, and well-dressed. The servers always do their best! Quality of food is equal to some of the nicest restaurants in Omaha. They have wonderful deals and specials. Coupons for $5 off on two adult buffets with two drinks are available, Tuesdays are kids eat free, if its your birthday you can eat free with the purchase of one adult Buffet. Lunch buffets are $8.32 if you compare that to the price of fast food its a whole lot cheaper.

The best American-Chinese buffet Ive ever found in many parts of the country and beats prices compared to inferior places! Lunch Monday-Saturday, just under $10 per person, tax and tip included, if water is your drink. They offer THE Best Mongolian Grille Ive ever found, nation-wide! Great, personable wait-staff, too! Omahas own China Buffet is THE BEST! They should go Nation Wide! I wish/hope they do! Apparently some wonder if there can be a wait to be seated. There can be if you arrive at typically busy times for restaurants, especially with a group of more than 2-4. But normally it isnt bad at all.

Last time we ate here, all of the plates on the buffet line had soggy food stuck in the bottoms (which means the top of the next plate was touching it). The manager did nothing - he didnt even remove all of them. Our waitress said the dishwasher must be broke again. I couldnt even eat anything. They did nothing to resolve the issue, and we still paid full price for both buffets when only one person had one plate of food. Disgusting.

I have been a loyal customer of theirs for years. They even developed a loyalty program that if you purchase 10 buffets, you get a free one. I loved that idea, until just today when I was on my 10th one just to find out they took it away. Managers attitude stinks, but the wait staff is good. For sure not about the customers here for sure. I wont be back now after years of loyalty...

a place to go on XMAS day. food was generic B grade chinese buffet fare. crab rangoons were cream cheese. hot/sour soup was OK but bowls were microscopic. crispy noodles had sugar on them. panko deep fried shrimp were overcooked and like rubber. egg rolls were undercooked. i sure hope omaha folks have a good chinese american restaurant to savor instead of this place.

We usually prefer this China Buffet over all the others in Council Bluffs/Omaha but tonight there was a hair in my food that was made at the Mongolian Grill part of it...very disgusting & it ruined my appetite afterwards. The manager only offered a $5 discount---what BS!!! Time to look for a new place :(

Saturday, crab legs were provided as part of the buffet options. The food satisfied my hunger, but was not exceptional. The honey chicken was over breaded, the rest of the food was on par for the average chinese resteraunt in Omaha. The china buffet is worth a repeat visit.

Food looks like its been sitting there for days. Has a nasty taste. They also dont have a variety of choices to choose from. Furthermore,it is super expensive 30 dollars for 2 people. Only checked on me once if I I was okay. Bad food terrible service. Never eating here again.

The server checked on ever table but our ask how they was doing made sure they had drinks and everthing I come to this location ever friday after along day at work for 5 years will cry if I miss a Friday today the service was not got at all.

This place doesnt even deserve a one. Food was okay. As we are eating a cockroach comes out from behind the seat and is crawling on the wall and the best part the manager only gives us half off our bill. Total gross never going back.

Been here many times. Good place. The food is always hot and fresh when we go. Fried tilapia on sundays, the wife loves it and I like it quite a bit too. We prefer this place to most buffets near by. Priced competitively.

I eat there all the time. EXCEPTIONAL! Fresh veggies and a grill where I can limit or pour on the calories. I Love the place and the staff are always friendly and considerate to meet my needs. YOU WILL NOT BE DISSATISFIED !

Food is decent. Staff is friendly except for the guy cooking the food that cant speak apparently. Lets not get into how disgusting the womens restroom is. Made me nauseous. Definitely wont come here again

The fried dumplings are great but they never have them on the weekend. They keep the crab legs stocked when they offer them at the buffet. The servers have always been very accommodating and nice.

There was a pebble in my food, almost broke my tooth. The manager did give me a free meal that day, but it was enough to make me question how in the world a pebble would get in their food.

Nothing it was dirty food look over cooked or never changed, fruit was spoiled tasting!! Dishes werent clean! Fried rice was the only think that was alright!! Would never eat here again!

This place looked okay and we thought the food was decent, but boy we paid for it when we got home. If you eat here plan to spend two days at home recovering in the bathroom.

I love this buffet. Sometimes the premade stuff is not fresh (depending on the time you go) but the Mongolian grill is great and is always fresh because it is made to order.
