We enjoyed the food here. It is a large buffet but it has the same food on each side. More like a double buffet. We went for lunch, be sure to have a Branson coupon book because it has a buy one get 1/2 off the other meal coupon. If you like the place and plan on eating there again grab a few coupon books. You can get the coupon book at various hotels where they keep the brouchers a and tracts. We got ours at Dennys the night before. The buffet is large, it has a large salad and fruit bar also that was very fresh and good. Think I liked that best! You can expect country food like, meatloaf, roast beef and ham, mash potatoes, gravy, cat fish, rolls and biscuits, okra, Mac and cheese, large var of side veggies, cookies, cobblers and ice cream. Didnt get a chance to eat breakfast there but wish I did! Drinks cost extra and are not included. So if you enjoy coffee with your cobbler plan on paying extra besides your drink. Water is free. I seen some upset about the coffee. Expect larger crowds but plenty of seating. A bus full of senior citizens pulled up as we were leaving (80+ people) All in all the food is good and plenty to choose from even for the picky people. Diabetes friendly food also. Handicap accessible, Kid friendly, high chairs, plenty of room for people in wheel chairs or scooters. Easy to get in and out for handicapped. They also have separate big rooms for larger parties or privacy rooms. Large parking lot for buses and vans.

NOT SO Grand Country Buffet. Went there for the lunch buffet; the only plus to that was it ends at 4pm (might want to call first, seems things change there frequently). First, we were told they were giving local resident discounts. Local residents use to cover several counties, to which they check your ID. Now you only get a 25% discount if you live in Taney or Stone county. The cashier wouldnt budge, even though we were misinformed by the staff just a few hours earlier. Might want to check on this prior to going. The local resident discount may have shrunk to just their block. Strike one! Only half of the buffet was filled. Strike two! Fried chicken was greasy, agreed with a previous poster on the catfish (belly meat, not fillets), several heavy sauce laden items, meatballs etc... pop the can, rip open the bag and heat. Mini, not grand desert bar. Strike three! Grand Slam outta da park of a total let down. Also agree with a previous poster that Golden Corral has more variety, thus more for your $$. As I heard someone say, "What did you expect? Its Branson. Youre paying for the glitz and the glitter."

Ate lunch at 11:40 and very small crowd. Food was mediocre at best. Temperatures varied across the line. Chicken tenders that are the replacement for Fried Chicken pieces were so hard you could not eat them and not warm. The baked tilapia was horrible and mushy and took one bite threw the rest of the piece away. A manager was sitting close by talking with a waitress at the next table and I was wondering if he would even acknowledge us, which he did not. I would have discussed the food at that time. We have been eating here for over 20 years and had not eaten there for some time. Very disappointed and mentioned our visit to Denise who was waiting our table. The manager or owners should take a ride up and down Highway 76 to re-acquaint themselves with all their competition. We are part of the Hospitality industry in the Branson area and will be hard pressed to recommend Grand Buffett for fear of being embarrassed. Grand Country Buffett is not the only game in town and captive audiences brought in on tour buses dont make it good because they fill the seats.

The food was pretty good, especially considering it was a buffet. I had some bbq Italian sausage, mashed potatoes and white gravy, Cajun spicy catfish, Mac and cheese, country fried steak, bbq riblets, and a roll. I know Im being fat, but it was all cooked perfectly fine with nothing burnt or sat too long. The serving staff was polite and attentive, if I had any complaint it would be my choice of wearing shorts out to dinner as I was a little chilled but everything else was very nice and enjoyable. I would suggest this place to eat, the Sunday dinner buffet is 13.49 a person for all you can eat with salad bar and desert bar included. 4/17/16

I gave an extra star because of our waitress Laronda. She was nice and attended to us quite often. The food was just okay, it was fresh but very bland. The macaroni was horrible. However I did enjoy the baked chicken. It was seasoned just right. The chicken strips wasnt to bad, but ive never been to a buffet without fried chicken. The talipia wasnt baked long enough. I asked someone to bring out more ranch and she told me to check the other bar. I did and it was also gone so I had to use French dressing for my salad. It appeared that they needed more staff. The atmosphere was nice and I enjoyed the peach cobbler but I wont be returning.

My wife and I ate at GCB on Sunday 8/6 around 2:30PM. As I was eating, I started watching one of the women pouring sausage gravy from one tray to another. Drippings were left on the side, so she ran her bare finger (no glove) along the side and flicked what was left on her finger into the pan for customers to eat!! I asked for a comment card to report the incident, was told they did not have any, but was directed to submit a review online. I discreetly got her name from one of the other workers. Found out she was a manager!! Health standards need to be taught again at this place.

Very disappointing visit here. I thought the price was high to begin with but I thought wed give a try. They offer no senior discount at all though. The food was not at all what I would have expected for the price. The beef was tough, the catfish was just average, the deserts were very generic, and there was really not much of a selection. The woman that waited on our table was very nice however. But was not impressed with the manager at all. All in all, I was just plain disappointed with our dinner. I would not recommend the place to anyone and would most likely never return.

Other than the rolls the food was blah, not much flavor at all and it was so dirty it was hard to ignore, there was the expected mess from families eating there with food and garbage all over the floor and dirty dishes stacked on empty tables. The carpet and tile were disgusting and in serious need of a professional cleaning which made me wonder the state of the kitchen where the food was being prepared. The staff, however, made the experience survivable. They were very attentive and sweet to our child and were fun to talk to.

I would not suggest this place to a friend. The only thing that was worth the price was the corn fritters. The rest of the food was bland, over cooked, and dried out. Normally I enjoy a good buffet and the options available, but there options were minimal. The two sides of the buffet were the same thing so really there was only a dozen choices at best. I know that food can sit on a buffet table for a while and still be good, but it seemed to me that the food had been sitting out for quite a while. I would not return. Sorry.
