The Golden Corral in St. Charles is a great place to eat. I go to this location often during lunch time when the buffet costs around $8.99 Monday through Friday. I dont go to the Golden Corral on the weekends because the price becomes $12- $14 per person. The food here is usually fresher than the Lindbergh location. Its usually a lot cleaner, slightly more orderly, and quieter than the Lindbergh location is. The Lindbergh location has its strengths too. But, to summarize, if you want less chaos, then the St. Charles location has been the best choice in all of the times that I came to this location. I also liked the food variety at this location. They had all types of foods from home cooked, to grilled, to Mexican foods, to a great salad bar; with an excellent selection of fruits and desert as well. They have SOMETHING for everybody! Thus, I dont have too many complaints about this St. Charles location other than the fact that every time I come to this location, some of the waitresses that Ive been getting has been kind of lazy and unattentive. They often disappear after signing my receipt; Id hardly see them for a while and it takes them a VERY long time to come back and fill up my drinks, and pull SOME dishes from my table. And this has been true almost EVERY time that I come to this location. But, I guess if people STILL give them tips even with their unattentive service, etc. then why should they change anything? Now, I can say that I havent had such problems at the Lindbergh location. At the Lindbergh location, the servers are a lot better!! Hence, is my experience at the Golden Corral in St Charles.

My Wife & My Daughter went here on 10/17/2009 This place has EXCELLENT FOOD. I really enjoyed my meal or meals (cause I can eat, so I made several trips, to the food bars) But he CLEANLINESS is a BIG PROBLEM. -Both Bathrooms had urine on the floor & toilets (when walking, your feet would almost have to peel away from the floor). (My wife said the same of the womens bathroom) The stench was bad too -The plates had to be carefully chosen (picked through as there was food still left on most -The Tables appeared to be clean. But, when we were getting ready to leave , my daughter had to use the dreaded bathroom, so I waited right out side of the bathrooms & watched a server / busser wipe off & clean 6-8 tables.There was no cleaning solvent only a rag she used from her pocket (which says the dirty rag was dry). After which she immediately told the cashiers the tables were ready. -They did have hand sanitizer dispensers conveniently located through the restaurant, but the two I found were empty. I also agree with "luvtosnack" from May 14, 2008 This has not improved at all This place really does have good food, but I would not recommend it to anybody.

I just ate here tonight and was pleasantly suprised. I was concerned about eating here because of the reviews I read but my father-in-law still wanted to go. I usually hate all-you-can-eat places but the food was excellent. I had steak, ribs, buffalo wings, bourbon chicken, garlic bread, catfish, and several other sides. The bathroom wasnt in the best shape but I could tell it was being remodeled. All of our dishware was clean and so was the buffet area. This is my first visit here but I would say they must have made some recent changes to address some of the issues other reviewers mentioned. If you want a nice all you can eat place then give them a shot. Im glad we did. I would definitely eat here again.

The food was hot and fresh, the containers were kept full, and the staff was incredible. The only complaint is that the green beans are not vegetarian. A vegetarian option would be awesome! I would never normally go to a restaurant on Thanksgiving, but it was a rough year with a death this morning and traveling, etc. The employees were spectacular and smiled when we interacted. The sacrifice they made to work for a midday shift of a holiday, instead of being with their family, helped us make it through a tough situation...and actually enjoy ourselves. Thank you to the employees and staff of the Golden Corral on Zumbehl Road in St. Charles, MO for their giving from their hearts. It touched us deeply.

Reasons for the rating is that in all my years of going to this restaurant, the food has become lousy and stale, and theyve tried to over charge my dad, too many times. There are only a few things I like in all the items they have for grabs, but I will never ever come back here even for those few things, and will not encourage friends or family to come to this restaurant either. We should have paid $62.61 plus tax for everything, but instead they charged us with $95.02, and we only had one senior, five adults (Two were paid for using a coupon) and two kids, one 2, and the other four years old. Even when my dad had gone to fix this mistake, they still didnt give us the exact change back.

I felt like I was in a zoo of challenged animals. This place was so dirty and gross! White trashy lady standing at door eating cotton candy and smoking. Food all over floor and tables, someone put their finger in the chocolate fountain. Half of the place had a cloud of B..O.. surrounding them. When leaving, Big old black SUV blaring rap with a girl in 20 inch heals who couldnt even walk that looked like a streetwalker hanging out of it and a guy nodding off in his beat up pick up truck....Warning.......dont go here unless you want leave with crabs, hepititis a bad case of being grossed out to the max!!!!!_

Not wheelchair accessible and the food rolls were hard as a rock.. the roles were replaced by a manager very nicely but he handed the duty off to a very large dark intimidating person giving me the evil eye that kind of frightening to me. The manager himself got my fresh rolls from the oven because I was leery of what he might do. nearly got hit by a tall gumball machine due to my wheelchair not fitting through. And the honey butter taste like it belongs on a pancake straight out of Ms Butterworth bottle. Very bad experience

Its okay.. I went to the one in Columbia , MO and that one was the best one yet. There is not a lot of meat choices ... But they have a TON of sides . The waitress was really nice and kept up with the refills we were having ... The food overall was good , its just no meat choices.. The steak was wonderful also ., seasoned just right. I had the breakfast for dinner deal and it was lovely . Would love to go back its just a very busy place .. But I can say that we didnt have to wait to be seated so thats always a plus .

Horrible service, cooks were putting half done chicken on the bar. My kids bit into 2 different bloody pieces of chicken! Then when I addressed the situation the manager acted as if he had an attitude because I asked for a refund for myself and 2 others people. I didnt even ask for the money back for my kids that ate the bloody chicken even though I should have. Will never eat at another Golden Corral in my life!
