So sorry that this establishment missed out on probably over a easy hundred dollar bill and their waiter/waitress on a good tip!! Our family just spent the day swimming with our friends that had been there before and suggested we try it since its close to our house! Upon arrival my seven year old son and I had sleeveless shirts on we were greeted at the door by a lady saying "we have to ask you to wear this shirt because we dont allow men to wear sleeveless shirts here" . My son was upset as well as the rest of our group because how dare anyone turn down paying customers.Guess what we left and went down the road and our friends treated us to jesses pizza place and we absolutely had wonderful food and the waitress was fantastic! Oh and me and my son were allowed in the establishment as we were dressed and they were more than willing to be well compensated for their food and service!!!

Best food Ive had since I moved to St. Louis. Better than any restaurant on The Hill and a welcomed escape from the chain restaurants that have flooded the Arnold area. My husband had an entree with the lemon-butter cream sauce and it was wonderful. I had the chicken parm and the red sauce was probably the best Ive ever had. Giuseppes rivals the best Italian restaurants Ive ever been to. The waiter we had was not superb, but she was very nice and attentive (if not forgetful). I am going to give her a major break since she looked swamped though. As a whole, I thought the atmosphere left something to be desired. The dining room has teal walls with red & green lights. Its not the candle on the table type of restaurant, but the food definitely makes up for what they lack in atmosphere.

I am Pauls wife. My husband loves the tuttomare in the olive oil, but as for me the food is so-so. I have a hard time eating knowing it was served by a long-bearded man (shortly trimmed would probably be ok) and the cooking staff with beards not wearing beard covers. This makes my stomach crawl. Sorry, I just dont want whiskers in my food. I did like the wine, though. Very good! The decor needs to be updated. Christmas lights, Valentine hearts, a shabby curtain toward the restroom area. Carpet is horrible. And, noticed outside not too well either. It just didnt seem clean to me. And, the noise! Maybe add some kind of noise reducing covering for the walls? My husband said if he gets a craving for the tuttomare, he will order out as Im not going back.

We have been coming here for years. Something has changed. Its all generic cheap Italian food with not a lot of flavor. We ordered lasagna to be catered and it came to our group half baked, soupy and barely edible. I was completely embarrassed to serve this to our party. The owner accused us of not serving it properly even though we allowed it to set up. The owner refused to make any compromises, refund us any portions and continued to tell us it was our fault for not telling them when we were serving. It shouldnt matter when we serve. Lasagna should be cooked right when we pick it up! Never going back. Very very disappointed in this restaurant. Go the the hill. Worth the drive.

This place is awesome. We are pleased that this little hideaway is so close to us. My husband and I received a gift certificate and reluctantly went. We couldnt have enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the service more! Everything we have tried has been delicious. We have been back 2 more times, since the first visit. We are just sorry we didnt go earlier. The place fills up fast. Casual, laid back atmosphere. But not too casual or blasting music, which we both like very much. Worth it!!!!!!! Well be back very soon. By the way....my husband and I can be very picky eaters...especially hubby...LOL. He has yet to complain! Which makes me happy, happy, happy.

I will start by saying that I am a very food spoiled person and get very unhappy if my food is anything less than wonderful. This is why I was absolutely surprised at the quality of food here at this little place in Jefferson County. Trattoria Giuseppes is by far my favorite Italian Restaurants. I discovered it about 6 years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter and got a sudden craving for a good Cajun chicken pasta. My husband had a very happy pregnant woman on his hands from the first bite! The owners are two of the nicest business owners, and Joe comes out to make sure everything was good. Do yourself a favor and try it. You wont regret it

The first time I visited Trattoria Giuseppe, I was amazed! Its literally out in the middle of nowhere. We pulled up and it was a fairly small restaurant, and due to the location, I was not sure how it would turn out. Let me tell you how it went. The food was fabulous. Better than any other Italian restaurant Ive visited in the local area. The owners, employees, and everyone that we interacted with were great and very friendly. My wife and I have been back every chance we get. I highly suggest that you call ahead and make a reservation! They have no problem filling their tables nightly!

We moved to Imperial a little over a year ago & were thrilled to find authentic Italian food so close without the overly sweet twist like so many St. Louis restaurants do. Weve probably been there 30 or so times in the last year & always have a good experience, the food & service is great every single time. Joe stops by every table to make sure everything was good & his wife Grace can always help point out the perfect wine pairing for your meal. We look forward to it every time we go.

My fiance introduced me to this hidden treasure. We have been there 4-5 times. The food is terrific! The service is up to par or better. The ownership is wonderful. The decor is not the best, but we do not come there to find new decorating ideas. The place is a little loud at times due to the structure of the building. Never the less, it is a wonderful place. I am from Kirkwood and do not mind driving there. The portions are priced fairly and large. Enjoy and come again!

Nothing special and the waitress kept rushing me for payment while i was eating. I find that to be so rude. I was with my family and bit my tounge about it so i didnt ruin the celebration. The decor is confusing also. It has christmas lights up, Valentines decorations up, a big landscape of Alaska? A dirty curtain that is velvet red that you have to touch to come out of the bathroom. Its very outdated!!! Dont waste a special trip to come here.

The food was everything and more. Giuseppe came around himself twice and introduced himself and thanked us for coming. The ladies room according to my wife and daughter in law was disguisting. At least they had read that in reviews so were not surprised. Just a shame he doesnt do a little to take away that complaint. All six of us loved our meals and had a great time once we got past the outside and decor which needs to be updated.
