This is one of the better places in Springfield to get cashew chicken. However there are other places here in Springfield that are better but Peking House has been around for a very long time and is always very friendly and very clean. It is the best place to eat on the East Side of Springfield Kama if you are east of Glenstone. Food is always delicious and does not leave me wishing that I hadnt ate there like some Chinese places do. Price is fair for what you were getting you should have a great time if you need you.

There are way better Chinese food restaurants in town. Price was a little higher than I felt is necessary for the amount of food. The entire time I was in there the girls "working" were having a loud conversation about the firemen and police across the street responding to an emergency. The owner even made the comment, "our tax dollars hard at work." Chicken seemed like it was cooked 2 hours ago and general sauce is way too sweet. I dont come back here

My husband loves the food there. The food is good, I particularly like the wontons, but the batter they use on the chicken throws me off. Its really crispy and reminds me more of KFC than chinese food. The service is great, friendly, and fast. I gave them 4 stars because everything they serve is good and the service is great. If the coating for the chicken were different, I would give them 5 stars.

I work two blocks down from Peking House. The food is mediocre at best. I got a bell pepper that still had the sticker on it. They didnt see the big deal. I prefer my veggies washed. I took a few months off from going there. When I went back, I got the wrong order. Their response was basically, "You got food, didnt you?" Nice. Thanks, but Im done giving them chances.

Theyre drive through is very fast and staff were friendly. The taste however is not great, the teriyaki chicken was breaded and not flavorful, to make it worse it was overly friend and dry. The "fried rice" is more like plain steamed rice. I did like the egg roll and rangoons, but I personally wouldnt try this place again nor refer it.

I ordered Cashew chicken yesterday for dinner, later at night. I got very very sick. Throw up nonstop, stomach pain for a hour, lay in bathroom floor all night, couldnt sleep then finally I did last night. I researched on google. Can be food poisoning and very dangerous to baby inside. Im 26 weeks pregnant. Never go back again.

Ive come to this restaurant since I was in high school ... Back when dinosaurs roamed the earth.... Its always been a great, affordable place to eat. I stopped in on my way back to Saint Louis a couple weeks ago, its still one of the best places in Springfield, MO for cashew chicken. As a Glendale Alumnus... Go Falcons!!

I didnt grow up in Springfield, so Im not a fan of the local fave (Cashew Chicken), but what Peking has going for it are AMAZING egg rolls and FABULOUS General Tsos Chicken! The people are always nice that work here!

Favorite Chinese food in Springfield. Cant say anything about their cashew chicken because I dont like cashew chicken at all. They have great Generals, Szechuan and Sesame. Try the chocolate chip wontons!
