Excellent, personable service but average "Chinese" fare. Ive heard their Vietnamese food is really good, but the Chinese-style food wasnt that good. Ill probably try them one more time and order the Vietnamese style food instead, but I certainly wont be ordering the Chinese style food ever again. The chicken seemed all wrong, and the beef did not resemble beef at all — we debated around the table what it could have been, and the general consensus that it wasnt cow beef. We could be wrong, but the consistency didnt suggest your standard beef. It very may have well been ground up cow parts and reconstituted into a "beef" strip. I never like giving independently owned restaurants bad reviews, but sometimes it takes a few public swift kicks in the rear to spur them onto greatness. I hope that one day theyll step up their game and improve their food.

Ive been coming here for almost a year and every time I am delighted. They have the best vegetable egg rolls Ive been able to find at a great price. (I usually come in just for the egg rolls to satisfy my pregnancy craving!) I also love their vegetable pho :) I havent tried anything else on the menu yet, but I can safetly assume its made to order like the egg rolls and pho and just as good in quality. The lady who works during the day is really sweet while serving and does a great job maintaining the place and taking care of the customers :) I will keep coming back!

Ive been here a few times. The best foods are the fried rice and cream cheese wontons. They have delicious sauce with ginger. Unlike some of the other reviews about the pho, I found it to be too salty and pretty bland besides the saltiness. Ive been going here infrequently for the past four years. It looks like the same people that I knew back then still working. Ive always had a pleasant experience with the lady hostess. But not a great experience when I call in for food. There might just be a weird-sensitivity issue over the phone. I dont know

We got very disappointed with this place, we will never come back. We got a very little amount of food, the lady was very impolitely to us. When we paid, we got the bill included the tip, so when the lady brought me the receipt of my card she asked for TIP AGAIN!!! We didnt pay it again of course, she got very up set without a reason, we tried to talk to know what it was happening and she just said to as: JUST LEAVE!! That was absolutely very mean! FOLKS! pay attention to what youre paying, since this lady can be so it the same to others!!!!!

For the last few months Ive been going to Viet Noodles for their awesome Vietnamese food. Recently they changed owners and its now more recognizable as your run-of-the-mill American Chinese takeout. The Vietnamese dishes I and several of my friends enjoyed are now served without the ingredients that made them amazing (i.e. fresh vegetables, sauces, tofu, etc.) The menu used to consist of mainly Vietnamese dishes and just a few American Chinese options. Now its the other way around, but still goes by the name Viet-noodles.

While the food is good-today I realized that they charged me $8.00 for my $7.25 lunch. When I inquired about it, the server said "tax included, tax included" then she ran away. When I got my receipt, there was no sales tax on the bill. I thought that was kind of sketchy so I calculated New Brighton restaurant sales tax (7.125%), my meal should have cost $7.77. Not a big deal -right? But if they are up charging every meal-that adds up for them. On principle, wont be returning any time soon.

The food is pretty decent. No complaints there. I have had better but overall, there is nothing bad I can say about the food. The customer service here is excellent! The woman who works or owns the place is very delightful and welcoming. Its hard to come by customer service like this in a pho restaurant and I believe that tops off everything else about the restaurant. Definitely recommend going to if you need a vietnamese food fix!

I ordered a bowl of noodles ($8.90) and a rice platter ($9.30). My total bill was $20.50 and it supposed to be $18.86. I asked the lady to give me an itemized bill, she told me that i am paying 9.9% of Anoka County Sales Tax. I plugged in the number on my calculator, I only have to pay $19.12. The number just does not make sense. Also, this restaurant is located in New Brighton, Ramsey County. Not Anoka County. Owner Dishonesty.

This restaurant is owned by friends of mine who used to own Guangzhou in Robbinsdale. After their building was sold, they moved out to New Brighton. The primary chef, "Allen", is VERY talented, and "Lucy", the hostess is just the best. The WonTon soup is the cure for your winter ills, loaded with peapods, bokchoy, teryaki pork, pork wontons, scallions, and a savory broth... Friendly, inviting, always fresh.

Definitely one of my favorite restaurants for Vietnamese cuisine in the metro area. The dishes here are simple, fresh, authentic and delicious. My favorite dish is the Bun combination -- some places over-grill the meat to the point where youre consuming charcoal and some quickly throw stir fry over the noodles. Clean, cozy place and exceptional service. Consistently satisfied with the food here.

EDIT: there was a change of ownership. I no longer recommend dining here. Delicious Vietnamese food, wonderful service, large portions, and good prices. What else could you ask for? I highly recommend the rice vermicelli salad and the special fried rice with chicken, bbq pork, and shrimp. Two people could easily split one entree. This place is such an underrated little gem!

A small little place with only a couple of tables but great food and friendly service. I got take out. I ordered two different noodle soups and they were both delicious with fresh ingredients. I also ordered cream cheese fried dumplings but these were standard like what I have eaten at other restaurants of this type. The prices were good and would definitely go back.

The food is AMAZING! When we went the service was a little slow but thats because it was a full restaurant with only the kitchen staff and one sweet little lady running tables and checking out to-go orders. The beef phô is awesome, also loved the spring rolls and egg rolls.

We love this place and the lady that is always working is like family! She is so nice and funny too! The shrimp satay is my favorite. The pho ga is great too. It was lighter on the chicken from what I am used to so if you like it hearty order extra serving of chicken.

Awesome, authentic tasting, great service, very clean. Ask the staff to recommend something if you always get the same old thing. I tried the beef chow fun...so good! Hot and sour soup also great and delightful crispy, tiny egg rolls. Yum!

Eating a bowl of delicious Pho beef noodles (# 4 on the menu) as I write this. This was my first visit and a steaming bowl of comfort noodles is hitting the spot on a cool morning. Cafe is no frills and authentic. I will go back!
