I recently quit working here as a delivery driver. I left because of all the health code violations and the fact that the owner only cares about getting the next order. At one point no one had any way to dry their hands because we had no paper towels for over a week. The cooks rarely wash their hands and if they do they dont use soap. When I left the toilet was on the fifth day of not working even though someone had offered to fix it for a very reasonable $60. Food is kept out all day with no refrigeration. Chemicals are sprayed extremely close to open food. Last week I saw a cook using a saw in the kitchen right next to open food sawdust going everywhere. The worst thing that I saw was the owner using a container from the kitchen to empty the overflowing toilet and then use it in the kitchen again. Your credit card numbers are not safe. I have had many customers complain about the credit card numbers being on the receipt that drivers are careless about, this includes the security code on the back the entire number and your address. More than 1 driver has been caught stealing and the worse part is that driver was fired and then hired back because the place is so bad they cant keep anyone who isnt a thief or a complete slob. I imagine the reason this place is still in business is most of the orders are by delivery. If they saw what was actually going on I doubt that would be the case.

I figured I would give China Wok a shot and try them for lunch for my Girlfriend and I. After today I will not be returning. I ordered the General Tsos chicken lunch special and my girlfriend ordered Beef Chow Mein and Chicken Teriyaki Appetizer. The preparation was very quick, we waited under 10 minutes for it which was nice but that doesnt matter when your order is wrong. My General Tsos Chicken was sweet and sour...I think, and poor sweet and sour at that. The sauce was bland and the chicken was soggy. The fried rice tasted a day old, to go along with my rock hard egg roll. Im not sure what they gave my girlfriend but it certainly wasnt Chow Mein. It was some sort of soup that mainly consisted of large cabbage and onion slices in a beef broth with few beef chunks. Not sure how this can be mistaken but they managed to do so. The Teriyaki Chicken wasnt too bad, just a little dry. I tried calling but the woman who was very nice when taking my order took a rude tone and told me I must have ordered wrong. The price was on par with your traditional Chinese take-out, It would have been better if I would have received what I ordered. I dont understand where the miscommunication would have came in, I used numbers and saw her right it down. Maybe it was a mistake on the cooks part. Either way I wont be wasting my money on something I dont want again.

Your credit card numbers are perfectly safe!!!!!! I am a delivery driver at China Wok and I can tell you from the bottom of my heart, your credit info is in good hands. The information is printed once on the order sheet that is used in store and then placed along side your order and returned to you with your delivery. Everybody working at this store is a responsible adult. When you order pizza hut, Dominos, Jimmy Johns, etc your credit card info is seen by their staff. I promise you its safer here than with the teenagers working at those stores!!! Ive been a driver at all those giant corporate restaurants and there was theft at everyone of them. The family that owns China Wok are painfully honest. When I cash out for the night the owner insists that I take $50.48 (for example) if that is what Im owed for tips. When I say, "fifty is fine" she says no and gives me every last penny.Ive never worked with such honest people. Also, the food is awesome. Everything is made from scratch. Everyday I watch them slice actual chicken breasts and use fresh veggies. Youre not eating that when you order pizza hut.

I have made a few orders from here now and it has been a mixed bag. So far I have tried the Sesame Chicken (great), Beef/Pork/Chicken Lo Mein (great), Sweet & Sour Chicken with Fried Rice (okay), and Lemon Chicken (weird breading but otherwise acceptable). Its taken about an hour to get my delivery each time. The prices are pretty good. Tonight I ordered some Cashew Chicken and Pork Lo Mein (this is about three meals for me over the next couple of days). I dont know what it is but their lo mein dishes are very addictive, something about the noodles and the oils get stuck in my food memory. The other entrees and combo plates have been hit or miss. Tonight Im hoping its a hit.

It was really good food. Just moved here and looking to replace old favorites from home. Delivery was pretty slow - I think it was over an hour and a half until I got my food - two entrees and some soup and I live about 3 minutes away. Website said the meals included egg rolls, we didnt get any. Just WAAAY too much fried rice and a scoop of cashew chicken. Egg drop soup was spot on as was the fried rice. Im pretty sure my general tso chicken was orange chicken, unless its made with zero spice. It was good but Ill probably shop around. Also why does no one in Minneapolis have crab rangoons? Just cream cheese. Outrage!

Please dont believe Bryan Frosts review!!!! He is an angry ex-employee who had his hours slashed for continually being rude and abrasive to customers. His review is an outright lie! I am a current employee and China wok is the cleanest restaurant I have ever worked in, which is about ten now. The food is delicious and the prices are great. The cooks handle the food with more care than most people do at their houses. Again, please dont believe the rant of a scorned former employee. He is merely trying to damage the store. Its a great place to work and to get delicious Asian fare.

The food is mediocre, but the service is really poor. I had some chicken fried rice delivered, and the chicken was not done. When I called and told them about this, they sent me another one (only after MUCH discussion), and the second order was wrong. So, I called them back and asked for a third delivery, but they argued with me and I was told to "just eat what you have". Then, I asked for a refund and even offered to bring all the food back to them, but they said "no". I will most definitely NOT be ordering from them again, and I would strongly urge you to look elsewhere.

Will never order from them again. Made an order tonight. Only part of our order arrived an hour later. When we called them back to say we had only gotten part of our order they yelled at us saying there were "many customers ahead of us". They were uncooperative in trying to resolve the issue. We used to order from Hop Wong all the time, for nearly 20 years. Since it became China Wok, it is terrible. We put the meal in "dispute" on our credit card. Because we will not pay for food we did not get and for really rude service. And, we will never order from them again.
