Beyond words type of good espresso..... Obviously. The only way I could deem any coffee shop 5⭐good. I have gone to coffee shops in the past that I literally put up with the staff just for the goods. Not the case here. Dont come in expecting Starbucks...This aint your place. Quality over quantity, house made syrups, they want you to sit and drink the beverage how it should be....What to expect: with the utmost respect (because Im in the category as well) I say you will find coffee house geek-ary at its finest, Black Keys type music, students a studying, young families meeting up with friends, a wonderer or two who havent the slightest idea this wasnt Starbucks, and maybe a few like me who weird-out, ya know bring out thier gel pen and sharpie collection to color and end up people watching. Good stuff guys Hammerhand Coffee is off to a great start and exercise those wrists, you dont want carpel tunnel!!!

There is a God! Liberty has been a coffee desert for too long, thankfully an oasis has cropped up for those who are tired of venti-pumpkin spice breves and burnt coffee... The place features great coffee from Counter Culture, a beer/wine menu covers some great craft staples, and some great baristas that make this place a winner. Lots of light a great buildout by Second Life Std. make this place difficult to ever vacate - you just want to stay and enjoy it. It still has a few rough edges, kind of like an awesome new house with brand new furniture but that hasnt been fully unpacked yet. It feels like 75% done. Still needs to figure out some of the storage options to make the place feel more clean or less cluttered (not that it isnt, just speaking visually). This place was super impressive, just needs a little more polish for a 5*, but I assume thats in progress :) 4.5 Stars

I love the Honey Lavender Iced Coffee I get but the sign says the $4 bucks it costs me has tax included but I get charged $4.76 every time. Its very expensive regardless of the premium coffee used. Ive been there 3 times and my first time I didnt buy a pastry because there was a fly landing on all the pastries. Since then I only purchased the coffees. When your new and you dont know what to get the barista just stares at you like hurry up so then I ask what flavors they have and they fly through it so I had to ask about two more times. The flavor of the coffee is awesome but Ive decided that I cant afford to go as often as Id like anymore due to cost. Too bad for me I guess! Lol.

Ive had a lot of coffee in KC (frequent Oddly Correct, Second Best, & Post Coffee). Hammerhands brew was really good. The staff were more pleasant than some places can be, very helpful, though understanding that theyre new they explain the menu as often as possible. The shop itself has clear points of custom design and signs that its potentially temporary until they maybe move back to where they originally planned around the corner? Needless to say, its a magical place to gather for coffee.

I really like this place, mainly because I like coffeeshops on county seat squares. The coffee is good and well made, and if you find yourself in Liberty, this is where you need to get your coffee. That being said, the prices were a little high, and it felt like it needed a little something extra to make me want to make the drive again. Extra props though for being named after a LOTR character.

The staff is always kind, equipped and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is great for all kinds whether working or socializing. The coffee is amazing I suggest a latte (my personal fave) iced or hot, always a nice smooth finish. Great place to hang if you have an hour or want to be there open to close!

Nice independent coffee place on the beautiful Liberty Square. Located in a beautiful corner of an historic building. The staff is wonderful and friendly, always willing to offer personalized recommendations. They rotate a selection of fair trade coffee with a full backstory on each variety.

A very cool coffee shop in downtown Liberty. The atmosphere was very hip and inviting. The staff was polite and efficient as well. We ordered a few coffees and pastries and hung out for a while. The bathroom could have been better, but that is my only qualm.

I think we should promote local cafes more. as a community we should help support the local businesses more instead of buying stuff from chains. I would highly recommend to go to this cafe if you are in the area and definitely try the lemon muffins

Good coffee (if not stale), great atmosphere, but the barista was on his phone the whole time and ate a sandwich behind the bar while serving people.

Somewhat limited menu, however everything is great and freshly brewed. A great place to have meetings, conversations or just a good cup of coffee!

Downtown Liberty Square historic feel fuses with hip coffee culture. The pour overs are excellent, as well as the breakfast burritos.
