Beautiful interior, but $5 for (the cheapest offering) a simple cup of coffee? Sorry, lumberjack lookin hipster barista dude, but I expect booze in my drink for five or more bucks. Or at least some Mexican chocolate, or whipped cream, or espresso, but for a single cup of regular ole coffee, um no. Went one block down the street to their competitor, where I had an excellent cup of locally roasted joe for $1.60 and it was totally delicious and amazing. I would suggest that Oddly Correct introduce a more economically diverse selection, to include a variety of coffee that is more affordable to the locals and people who live right down the street from them. It might not be as fancy as whatever they are serving now, but it would mean that people other than white yuppies could afford to come in and enjoy their cafe. Also, NO CREAM OR SUGAR. Very pretentious.

Ordered the single origin pour over the barista recommended. She had a small speech prepared when I asked for cream... "This is more of a tasting room... You will find that the coffee is naturally sweet and very good stuff that doesnt need cream or sugar, let me know what you think." After I politely pushed further to say that I understand (I mean I drink blue bottle coffee every day) but I would like some cream or milk, she simply refused... "I think youll like it." Not going back to a place who thinks they will teach me what good coffee is. The quality of coffee was pretty great, the place has all of the potential, but the condescending and ignorant attitude is unacceptable.

They seem to take coffee very seriously at oddly correct, too seriously for my taste! I am pretty pro-choice when it comes to how you take your cup of Jo, and this place does not offer any dairy or sugar. That alone makes it not my choice! This is also not a place to stop if you are in a hurry since there is a wait time for your cup to drip. Its a bit like a science experiment. They are very thorough and the coffee tastes great, but its a process and youll need to invest some time. Its also on the spendy side, so youll need to come prepared to invest that way too.

Worth every penny. If you order traditional coffees, you get the best, at a fair price. If you walk in here and accidentally think that this is another Charbucks knock off, you are sadly mistaken... Heres a tip from a coffee pro: if you are not sure what to order (in any coffeehouse) order this drink: a "short mocha breve"... say it just like that and enjoy the best little drink you ever had and not look (or feel) out of place.

A great place to get a doughnut and a cup of coffee. The cake doughnuts are amazing and sometimes they give them out for free when they have leftovers at the end of the day. The shop is small and seating can be limited, but the space is very quiet and a solid place to work or chill. Parking can be a little tough to find depending on when you go, but worth the slight difficulty. Friendly staff, rich coffee flavors.

Probably my favorite coffee in the KC area. They have many roasts including single origins. I dont understand why people leave bad reviews bc of milk and sugar. Why would spend $4 on a coffee and drown out the flavor with milk? Just go and buy Folgers or Maxwell house then if your going to add that crap. If you enjoy coffee as a hobby then I highly recommend this place.

I dont do this very often but this place deserves all the recognition. I am in town training for work and was just looking up coffee shop and stumbled across this one, I liked the name so I went there. I have been blown away. Besides the great staff and amazing atmosphere. The coffee is second to none. So if youre ever in the kcmo area definitely give this place a shot

I loved the feel of the place, the neighborhood, the rounded, strong but smooth roast, the high quality milk... even the seating. Id go back in a heartbeat. I had a macchiato which was really good but the roast was strong enough and milk good enough Id probably get a flat white or cappuccino instead next time. Highly recommended :).

Hands down one of my favorite coffee spots anywhere. A go to anytime Im in KC. They close at 3pm so go early. Never had an off putting or unpleasant interaction with the staff. Friendly, warm and professional. They roast coffee on site. Simple tiny menu: espresso, americanos and pourovers are recommended. Limited seating.

***my wife and I travel around the country sticking it to the man by enjoying our coffee from local coffee houses. Great, great coffee! They are on the front end to prepare coffee the pour over way. You can get cream but no sweeteners. Atmosphere is clean, simple and noise was low on the decibel meter. A grown up coffee shop.

Dont do it. This place is reserved for people stroking their man buns, smelling their own farts and listening to some banjo playing hipster coffee curator telling them how they should enjoy their coffee. If you feel compelled to be white, wear flannel, and actually enjoy coffee instead of complimentary smarm, go to Thou Mayest.

Avoid this business as you would the plague. They charge $3.50 for a 12 ounce coffee. Took 7 minutes for them to pour hot water into a silly drip pitcher and then when I asked for some sugar I was told they did not have it nor would they offer it. Over priced , slow service and absurd philosophy on how to serve coffee.

I love this coffee shop! Best coffee shop in the Central part of the KC Metro Area. I work close to this coffee shop. Every time I visit this coffee shop, I feel welcomed by the employees. Very relaxed atmosphere, delicious coffee from the source, overall great coffee house experience. I simply love this place!

I never drink my coffee black. Im not even a big coffee fan in general. That being said, I decided to give this q shot since they do NOT add cream to their coffee (even if you ask). I was very pleasantly surprised and rather enjoyed it, so this is not your typical cup of coffee! Highly recommended!

Ordered coffee and asked for room for cream and sugar. The barista stated that "We dont do cream or sugar." I took the coffee anyway because a friend likes the place, but I will not be going back. I dont DO lectures from children half my age on what I should or should not have in my coffee.

Best coffee in KC period. Dont go here to get some crazy sugared up drink, and yes its true you have to drink the coffee black. But if youre looking for the best coffee look no farther. You always want to go somewhere that cares more about your coffee than you do, that place is Oddly Correct.

Oddly correct roasts their beans impeccably, grinds them impeccably, then brews them into impeccable pour overs or pulls them into impeccable shots of espresso. Theyre impeccable, every. single. time. The only downside is that they will turn you into a coffee snob if you arent one already.

This is the best coffee in Kansas City. I am torn between them and Post Coffee in Lees Summit as my all time favorite. The coffee is fresh, flavorful and clean. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The coffee is pricey, but it is worth it. Their Ethiopian Yirgacheffe is unreal.
