I work across the street at Q39, and with all the chaos there, Downbeat has become my Oasis of peace and caffiene during my breaks. The lady there is always nice and please, and works miracles with tea. If you get the chance to stop by, definitely do so! Absolutely worth every penny!!

Really cool vibe to this place - its a bit hard to find (on the second floor) and the owner recently moved to this location so its got some space to grow into, but this coffeeshop has a great laid-back feel to it. Nice music, really tasty cuban latte, and really friendly people.

I had never had Cuban style coffee before, and I tried the Cuban latte. It was awesome! Great atmosphere, free events, and Emily is really cool! Ill definitely be dropping by more, and if you want more from your coffee, this is your place!

Such a great experience. Coffee was made to perfection. All natural ingredients was a plus. Hands down, the best Chai Latte ever! If you want a cool place to sit, drink coffee and listen to some mellow jazz, this is the place.
