What an experience!!!!!!! I just loved it. The line was long, most of the tables were full, but since I was not in a hurry, I didnt scramble for a table. The line moved quickly enough, but we did have time to consider our options at the drink cabinet..Yes, I had some TEA. I ordered one Panneer tikka masala and a Garlic Naan, in the mean time I had some pappad & mint chutney, My gosh, that was the best restaurant style mint chutney I had in US. I asked him to pack some for home :-) Guess they add amchur powder for tangy taste and it had rich mint & yogurt flavor to it. Totally had 3 servings of pappad and would have asked more if they have further delayed my panner tikka masala. Any curry accompanies a rice, dhal & fresh fruits( Dhal & fruits ???? YESSSS). Rice was sooooo yummy, dont ask me whats special in pain rice. It is a jeera rice tasted so good. Panneer tikka masala was delicious and appetizing and I enjoyed it. Naan was good, nothing great about it. Summary- Excellent Indian restaurant to dine, I will visit this restaurant again if I get a chance.

I am very good at cooking Indian food and do not prefer to dine at Indian restaurants as I my food tastes so better when compared. Its due to physical limitations that I have not opened my own Indian restaurant. For me experience at Sewa was average. I think they serve better when you order rather than in buffet. Their buffet is not appealing in terms of variety and quality. My last experience was very bad as their Chana dish served in buffet was terrible( I would say not edible coz I had to leave it and I normally do not like to waste food). I would say that Swagat restaurant at Zona Rosa is far better( Korma Sutra is also good). Their buffet is good and service isnt bad( though nothing compared to American restaurant where the servers always carry a broad smile on face). For those of you who are not aware of Indian cooking its a good restaurant for you guys but not for ppl like me.

A lovely place to eat! Im not an expert at Indian cuisine however I can say that their food is both delicious and healthy! Also, this is by far one of the cleanest restaurants that I have ever had the pleasure to dine at. Ive never had a dirty cup, plate, or table. Although Im no expert on the food itself, I have been in the hospitality industry for the better part of 5 years now. My Girlfriend and I have been going to this restaurant for years now. The manager, servers, and occasionally you can find a cook smiling at you as you come in. the managers and severs know our likes and dislikes. He even asks when we forget to order something if we would like to add it to the order. I have never felt unwelcome or unhappy from my experiences here. Thank you Seva for showing the community what hospitality and Service means each and every time someone walks in the door!

My wife and I have eaten here a handful of times and it has always been great. Last time we went was a busy Saturday night for dinner. We ordered the same dish, specifying MILD on both. Hers came out correctly but mine was very spicy. I know mistakes happen and they were busy so I wasnt too upset about it. I decided to just eat it anyway. Unfortunately I just wasnt able to finish it. When finished, my wife asked for a box to take leftovers home and our server brought me a box too. I declined and she looked at me strangely. She came back and asked if I was satisfied with my meal. By now I had to say something. I told her it wasnt a huge deal but she insisted making the dish again mild at no cost and sending it home with me to go. They messed up but fixed it immediately without me even asking for anything. I love eating here!

My wife and I have been to Seva Cuisine several times in the past year (and again tonight!). It is truly our favorite restaurant in the area when we want to go out and do something special, but also affordable. Their service is always excellent because the staff is so friendly, inviting, they make us feel like they are *truly* very glad that we are there. We dont think the people that operate and serve at Seva could be any nicer. The Chicken Marsala over rice dinner is our favorite. We recommend Seva Cuisine to all our friends. p.s. when I first took my wife here, she confides to me that she thought to herself, "Im not going to like this (Indian food), this will be my first and last time. Now, she practically runs there, lol. Loves it!!

Wonderfully diverse menu and fantastic service. My wife and I had Chicken Korma and a lamb dish. Both were excellent. Our kids enjoyed the Mango Chicken Bites and Fruit Chaat. We all shared the Garlic Naan and Kheer (rice pudding). Kheer was on the house. I believe there was Chai Tea on the house as well, although we did not have any. Honestly, when our family can find a place that can serve dishes that are well spiced the way my wife and I like them and still serve food that our kids will eat and enjoy, it is always a five star experience. The service provided by the staff made this a trip that will definitely be repeated. I recommend Seva Cuisine both to those who are new to Indian food and to those who have enjoyed it before.

Not impressed by the food. Had a takeout order. The Gulaab Jamun (desert) is supposed to be sweet as a desert but this was just wayy over sweetened. Reminded me of the ones you get in a tin can, premade from a international grocery store. The Chicken Tikka Masala was full of oil from cream although I expected it to be "lean and light" like they advertise on all their menus and banners around the restaurant. The Naan were wrapped in a lunch paper bag and were cold by the time I had the food home (30 minutes after ordering). All in all, I was expecting much better quality and much more authentic taste from their small menu selection- was disappointed in both respects. Guess its back to Swagat and Korma Sutra in the Northland.

For most Indian restaurants, even if I love the food ordering from the menu, I end up not really liking the buffet. But at Seva, even the buffet is absolutely delicious. The only thing on the buffet that wasnt cooked to perfection was the butter chicken, which was too dry both times I was there. Everything else was absolutely divine. Of special note on my first visit was the tandoori chicken, which was the best Id ever had. It wasnt as good on my second visit but that time the fish curry was incredible. Best fish curry Ive had by far. Even the little extras like the cucumber yogurt sauce, the pakoras, the garlic naan, butter naan, the kheer (rice pudding), the mango lassi, even the chai (tea) were excellent.

Tucked into a busy shopping/eating district of popular Liberty, Seva is super popular with locals and north KCers. We went solely on the recommendation of foodie pals whove been in the area for 30+ years and were so glad we went. Another couple who was eating outside (there are a couple of tables outside, folks!) paused in between bites to offer their 2 cents when they noticed we were deciding between Seva & another restaurant nearby: "Its our favorite" "We drive here from Parkville. All the time." "the Pulao is fantastic" "You cant go wrong" All of the above. They were right. Our friends were right. Our tastebuds and full bellies were so damn happy at the end of the meal. We cant wait to go back.
