Before this was stack house the food was horrible. Once it became stack house I had salmon and it was incredible! The second time I ordered the same thing and they were out so I opted for a pasta dish which tasted like the can the tomatoes were in. The third time, my fellow dinner got a pasta - it was horrible and the salmon I had was over cooked, over salted, just all around horrible. Looks like a majority of the four and five star reviews are around the bar and not so much the food - your meal might be great might be disgusting but the service is consistently slow. We wont be returning.

I have only tried a couple things here but I plan on trying... Everything!!! I love their happy hour specials, their daily specials, their seasonal beer specials! Great place, GREAT staff, food is a 8 or 9 out of ten, idk yet but it is good! Lovem! Update: Now that their grand opening is over... Ill give the food and (evening) customer service a 6 out of 10. They have messed up my last 3 meals... = /

Worth checking out. The new owners are locals who bought the bar after previous manager failed to manage properly. They addressed all deficiencies and have produced a fantastic business. Excellent service, well above average food. Its not a five star restaurant, but it is a solid 4.5, worthy of your time to try. Hope to meet you there!

Tried it last week as we wanted give them some time to get settled. Food and service was okay but the kitchen was a bit slow. Getting the kinks worked out and serving good quality food will make or break this place. Millers use to have a good regular crowd and it will interesting to see if they can capture it. Will be back to try it again soon.

A cookie cutter pub and grill. The food was decent, a bit expensive for the quality, and the service was quite slow. I had the Stack House Burger, which was fine for a burger but nothing to write home about. My wife had the Deluxe Pizza, which was great if you like thin crust pizza. Fine for what it is, but I dont think Ill be back.

Been here many times and in general have x liked the food, vibe and waitstaff. Tried the smoked wings tonight and was disappointed. They smoke the wings and then throw them in a fryer before serving. Mine were over fried which made them dry and frankly hard to chew. First bad experience and will be back but will avoid the wings.

Too bad I was having lunch with my husband shortly after I stopped here to see some friends at lunchtime. Service was outstanding during the lunch rush. I only tried their fries but they were excellent - their cheeseburgers and sweet potato fries looked equally delicious - huge portions too. I will return with my appetite!

We were blown away. Sat on the patio and tried the reuben, half smoked chicken, and a kids burger. Reuben was the best in St.Louis by far. Better than Carnegie deli in Manhattan. Chicken was excellent and the kids burger could fill up most adult men I know. Service was spectacular as well. A new favorite.

Awesome bar and grill. Excellent bar b q and the best fried chicken anywhere in STL on Sundays. Pork wings are so different and delicious! Pizza and pulled pork are always delicious. Nice wine selection and lots of local beers on tap!

Chill place with a nice selection of libations and food. Lauren is cool behind the bar, and Peyton is ... mysterious? Some pretty crazy (in a good way) regulars. Looking forward to trying brunch on Sunday. Great vibe.

Used to frequent this place before it was Stackhouse and it was a very unique place. Now its just another run of the mill bar. Bartender wasnt very friendly either. No reason to ever go back.
