I was so excited to visit The Muddy Pig but was unfortunately disappointed. The appetizer we had was great, but the service was terrible. We asked our waiter, Chad, kindly how the Moscow Mules were and he just said "theres two ingredients" and looked at us like it was a silly question, some restaurants dont specialize in certain drinks and we had just been elsewhere and had one so we wanted his opinion. We decided to order them and they were terrible. We asked Chad after a sip for new drinks and he brought them to us without saying a word. We were disappointed to then see him smack talking about our group to the other employees and drinking a beer when we were 5 feet away, we could hear everything he was saying and he was pointing to us and the drinks. He then brought our appetizer and asked what we wanted to order, we had planned to eat dinner as well but because of the service we just asked for our bills and split them for each side of the table. When he brought them to us he threw them down and walked away without saying anything. When he returned to run our cards, we said something to him about the service he had provided and expressed our disappointment as our entire group has worked/works in the service industry. He claimed he didnt act rude and was doing his job. Someone we were with said to him "you know what man its cool lets just drop it can you please run our cards" trying to be polite and end any conflict between us all. His response was "dont tell me what to do" and he flicked us off, as he was walking away with our credit cards! I was so flabbergasted that he had the audacity to say and do such a thing. He then brought us the extra bread for our appetizer and literally threw the plate on the table creating a scene where other tables turned and looked at us. He goes "now thats throwing something on the table" and walked away. We signed our bills and didnt tip, which we told him we werent going to do when we were confronting him about the service. When we all got up from the table and proceeded to leave the restaurant he followed us out the door and said "yeah get out of here you c****".... Needless to say Im extremely disappointed that The Muddy Pig has an employee like this, and that he thought it was okay to speak/treat us that way. I wanted to post this so others could be aware of the service and to be aware of our groups terrible experience. Weve contacted the management directly as well to inform them of the situation.

First time there tonight for an event. Event started at 7 n we were there a little after 6. Nobody greets us and we sat outself and grabbed menu ourself. Waited for 10 minutes later, a server asked if we are ready to order yet. Told her that i really need water and not ready to order as it is our first time there. Another 6-8 mins went by and still no water and she was busy with all guys there! We had to tell her that we are ready to order. We only have 28 minutes before the event start. Was going to order salmon salad but she told us wont be quick one so we ordered quasadila. Again, we had to ask for water. Saw our food ready and we almost tempting to grab it since she was too busy with all the guys! We ate our food in a hurry as we only have 16 minutes!! Told her we are ready for our tap when she brought the food (and still no water for me!). 1 minute before 7pm, we decided to go to the event since we MENTIONED it to her. NEVER once she look for us and a guy who is supposed to serve everyone at the event, NEVER once check to see if we need anything!! At the end, we have to ask him if he can get our bill so we can pay. Came back and hand me a bill that isnt mine. Good thing i checked!! We decided no tip for her. We have to look for him to hand the cash n bill. While we were waiting outside, HE asked if we forget to tip her. We said no. We tried to explain why and he literally told us to F***-OFF. Yes, CANT believe the server that wasnt serving us swear at us!! A minute later, he came out again and told us to leave and never come back. He accused us for moving around 3 times! I never get my water and never once i get treated so badly. Service VERY sucks but food was good! He doesnt know what is going on, but yet knows very well to be rude to customer!!!

I never write reviews, but I cant help not spreading the word about this place. They have treated me and my family horribly. Last night they accidentally cleared one of our beers. After we asked them about it they treated us like childeren and told us they never clear glasses with beer in it so it never happened. 5 minutes later the same guy was clearing glasses with beer still in it. At first we decided to let it go but then when we saw that, one of our girlfriends decided to talk to the bartender. At which point the bartender yelled at her for 5 minutes and then ignored her. Whats funny is this was just a simple mistake. It should have been taken care of but instead the staff decided to be rude. Overall my advice is never to go to this place if you are considering it. You will leave with a bad taste in your mouth and it could ruin your night. There are plenty of other bars in the area, try one of the others instead.

Great place if youre going to grab a beer. Kudos on the beer selection. However, the food is average, at best. The burger i got was mediocre. Slightly over cooked with greasy cheese draped over the nearly sautéed onions. Served with chips which is LAME. Tiny little cup of sad coleslaw to go with it. My wife got the pizza which was a real disappointment. Veggie toppings were basically raw. Crust looked like cardboard. Cheese wasnt "browned". So overall an undercooked, underwhelming pie. We didnt even bother getting a box to save the half she didnt eat. You can buy frozen pizzas that are WAY better. The service was also average. The staff were very aloof. Far too many other choices in the area where you can get really good food AND good beer with attentive, friendly staff. I wouldnt come back unless I was specially just looking for a beer.

The saving grace for the Muddy Pig was that the food and drinks were excellent. The menu for liquor was extensive, pages and pages, so have an idea of what youre wanting to drink before you head in. The atmosphere was pub-ish, which I believe lends the staff to take a more relaxed approach in serving their customers. My message to the management of this joint would be that they need to have their staff adjust their attitudes when it comes to serving customers that might not be "regulars." I hate going somewhere and getting the impression that were annoying because we may not be as knowledgeable about the scotch list as the next guy, or that were asking for too many waters, or that we just arent hip enough to be there. I dont think Ill be returning to this place, but they probably wont care.
