As a child my family went to any of the various Best Steak House locations and I have always enjoyed their Steaks. To me, they are the best Ive ever had. I maybe biased since I was raised eating them but whenever I go somewhere else and pay through the nose for a steak dinner, I think how for less than $10 I could have eaten at the Best Steak House and it would have tasted better too. With each meal you get a side salad with as many croutons, bacon bits and dressing as you want plus a perfectly made baked potato and a nice piece of Texas Toast. Whether its the Fillet, the Sirloin or anything else, youll love the meal. If you are looking for ambiance, this isnt the place to go. If youre looking for a great inexpensive steak lunch or dinner, this is your place. Until recently they only accepted cash or checks but they now take credit cards so I have no reason not to eat there any chance I get.

Unfortunately, I must change my review. The original owners sold the Best Steak House to some new owners, and its taken a downward slide. Those wonderful salads? Replaced by plastic containers that you grab. Serviceable dressing? Nope. Small containers of various dressings. A-1 and Heinz? Those now come in your convenient grab and go packets. I know theyre trying to keep the bottom line but what they are saving they are losing in sales because this is a major turnoff. The worst shame was the Porterhouse, filled with gristle and disappointment. Sadly, this steakhouse will go the way of the one on Payne, and all the other ones of bygone days.

The first time we came here the Italian beef sandwich was awesome. Unfortunately, we went there today, 2/8/17, and there was no salad in the salad bar and the dressings were not even being refrigerated. Then, we ordered the Italian beef and the steak, shrimp and gyro combo. The gyro meat was that frozen beef mixture crap, gross, and the steak was very poor quality. My Italian beef was soaked in canned giardanara and the bread seemed old. Im not expecting fine dining, but if I am spending 33.00 dollars on this meal I expect way better, otherwise they need to reconsider their business plan.

I would rate this place no star but that was not an option. Place was very unprofessional. We were handed paper cups and we had to get our own water and our own steak knives. We ordered the pho and unstead of having bottles of siracha and hoisen, we received only one packet of each. Bathroom was dirty with no paper towels. Door handles were filthy and sticky. Pho was not all that and had a weird aftertaste. We order sweet potato fries and never recieved it until we asked and were already donr eating. Food was not all that. Steak was okay. I will not come back.

Drove all the way in to find out they closed earlier than posted hours on that day. We still wanted to give them a try. So on our next attempt, we found them open. As we entered the establishment I noticed a very strong odor in the place. We kept walking in when my wife looks at me and said it stinks in here, in her language. I responded back with should we leave, to which I got a strong affirmative back. Im not sure if this was normal, but we have no intention of trying again.

This place is deceiving... from all the face book pictures of the food to the reality it is completely different.the steak had a strange smell to it. The customer service was terrible. 1 of the most disgusting things was that they had the silverware and napkins and watet next to an open top garbage can that had flies around it. Prices were high for the lack of quality in the food. This was a dissapointment. I hope they either shut it down or make some changes.

We ordered four entrees for take out and paid close to $50 bucks. We got home and opened up the food only to realize we paid good bucks for basically microwaveable food thrown in the deep fryer! Fish sandwich patty and chicken tenders were definitely things you found in the frozen isle at your local grocer. The grilled pork and beef were pint sized compared to the advisement. Ill be taking my services elsewhere from now on. Not recommended.

we love their seafood and steak meal that come with potato, texas toast, salad, drink, soup, 1 nice cut steak and lobster & crab legs. this is not a fancy steakhouse , it is more like cafeteria style that you need to help yourself with water, napkin.....There are no waitress here, first you order, pay for your meal, then find your table. the price is very reasonable and we will be back again

Sam is the man! My father and I have been coming to Sams steakhouse for decades. Ive been to plenty of others but youve got to get in where you fit in. Salad, baked potato and buttery Texas toast. . Mmmm. Daily specials keep the cost right between 5 and15 bucks depending on what youre having.

Very not cool. I ordered the 10 Jumbo shrimp for 10 dollars. They gave me only 7 shrimp with a potaoe and still charged me. And I bought a 1/4 lb burger for 7 dollars. My bill came to 17 dollars! Wrong order, bad burger. 17 dollars was paying way to much for this mess. Not returning.

I Asked For A Medium Steak & Got A Tough Well Done Steak. Crab Had Clearly Been Sitting. They Put A Lemon In The Middle Of My Texas Toast Which Ruined It & My Baked Potato Wasnt Even Done. Definitely Wasnt Worth $20 Dollars. The Food Definitely Doesnt Look The Pictures.

The food is great! very nice & decent price. Super big portion & they also served the spicy Asian pepper even the Latino spicy pepper. I recommend this place to everyone! They also served Asian rice dishes too. The staff & service is great & very friendly.

You cant call yourself a steak and seafood house if you cant cook steak. Steak was burn, you can taste the char on the steak. You can tell that the steak was not at room temperature when it was put in the grill, most likely half way frozen.

Portions could be bigger for the price. Not bad quality though. Wont likely be back often but once in a while perhaps. Wouldnt suggest for a big family outting if youre on a budget. Worth a try at least once I would say.

Foods good, portion sizes good, but someone has to clean those tables. Wasnt busy when we got there but almost all the tables were dirty and it seems no-one cleaned any of them, they werent cleaned once during our meal.

The Best Steak houses around the twin cities have good steaks at a great price. Every meal comes with a salad, baked potato and texas toast. Yum! We mostly eat at this one on Rice st since it is closest to our home.

Just try deep fried lobster tail and crab leg today. Crab leg is ok but lobster was very tasty. I will try their king crab next time.
