We recently visited for a special occasion. It has been about 1 year since we have been in since they generally are always busy, this Saturday evening was about the same, waited about 30 min. Waiter might have been new...not very personable, very soft spoken and could not hear him well over all the noise in the restaurant, another downfall. He ended up spilling a soda in my husbands lap. One of the floor managers came over to help and apologized, which was appreciated, just sucks this happening and having to sit in wet clothing throughout your meal! She did offer us a complimentary appetizer, which we accepted. The waiter never apologized or acted concerned over the spill, yes it was an accident, but at the least he could have acted concerned with a sincere apology would have helped the situation. After we received our food, which was just OK, he never returned to our table to ask how the food was prepared, he did fill our drinks once during the whole meal. Consider the cost of the meal and reflective on his tip you would have thought different. Very disappointed over all. Our daughter went yesterday during a late lunch visit, about 2ish, had to wait over 20 min and they were not busy? Finally got a table, no one was in the main dining area which was were they sat those who were there, again not busy! She ordered Crab Linguini Alfredo and it was awful, tasted and looked like all they did was melt a stick of butter over the noodles--for the prices they charge for both lunch and dinner entrees you would expect much more. There are too many eating choices in Springfield, so they really need to get it together...Needless to say we will not be returning anytime soon--left a bad taste in this families mouth! Sorry Red Lobster, you used to be one of our favorite spots!

Red Lobsters are BABY KILLERS!!! I am not sure why they choose to only serve infant lobsters. That is the only way I can describe the lobster on my plate. We were extremely disappointed. We all ordered the wood grilled lobster tail, scallops and shrimp.Salad was good, of course the biscuits were good. Also ordered stuffed mushrooms for appetizers, the were drenched in butter and really not edible. The dinner itself was the worst. The lobster tail consisted of 2 halves each were about 3 inches long. 6 bits and it was gone. The scallops were completely flavorless as was the shrimp. The butter did not even taste like real butter. The rice pilaf was the only thing that was good. This meal cost us 96.00 for 3 people and was not worth it all! The waitress was great and offered to replace it with something else which we opted to not do because we had waited for so long for our food already. NEVER AGAIN!

I felt I was paying more for the brand and atmosphere than the food. So I would consider this a place I would go on a special occasion and not a place I would go just eat out. Especially if you are on a budget, because its very expensive!! The food was good, but Ive ordered the exact same seafood dish at several other places cheaper and it was just as good. If you get there in time for the lunch menu or pick from the cheapest things on the menu you might find an entree for around $10, but a lot of their stuff is $16-40. The service was good, but you get good service at a lot of other places too. So what I feel you are really paying for is a classier atmosphere. Its higher end inside, dimly lit for a more romantic evening. More nicely furnished than a lot of places. The restaurant is sectioned off into rooms so even if they are busy you wont feel as crowded.

This was the first time I took my family out to eat in Red Lobsters. We were both excited as we have never eaten there, and always see it on TV. Anyways, to sum it all up, our bill came up to $70+ for the most expensive meals on the menu, and a small kids meal for our 2 yr old. A little too much I say as the food was not that great. I have eaten in cheaper restaurants here in Springfield, MO with better food for half the price of Red Lobsters. The service was excellent tho; thanks Joe. The interior was very impressive too; a very nice place to probably impress a date, but you wont get her taste buds running. Not to mention it will eat a CHUNK off you wallets.

Ive always loved Red Lobster, but I was disappointed in the menu the last time I ate there. There is no indication in the menu as to what items have less calories and how many; there were few selections that appeared to be low cal. I would think with seafood they could come up with several selections with interesting spices and sauces, but they have not, apparently. They could take lessons from other restaurants such as Ruby Tuesday, which has several delicious low calorie dishes, as well as several side dishes to choose from.

Shannon, made our experience a five star Experience, had it not been for her, I would have only gave 3.5, simply because of The Cost. For a chain bulk food restaurant it was not worth what it cost to eat here. Yes It was all good, even some a(+), in all ratable areas, But the waitress was the key to it all! I wish every waitress had her disposition. Impeccable Service, overshadowed enen the cost. However, She should be given at least 50% of our meal cost,. train wreck on price no meal should be that expensive. PERIOD!!

Have been going to Red Lobster for decades and was very disappointed with last nights visit. Crab Alfredo is my go to favorite but prices have gone up ( Ultimate feast $29 & the Sirloin w/ rock lobster tail $30 ) even my Crab Alfredo is $21. My entree had more garlic than crab and was inedible . Chef must have used a whole clove of garlic for one dish. Took 90% of my dish home to see if I could make it edible with no success. Could not overcome the garlic even with a pint of heavy cream. Wasted $60 And am still hungry.

Been there three times only got to eat once. First time was just "OK" second time I got seated and later people at the table next to me who got seated after me had their drinks, cheesy biscuits and appetizers before anyone ever said "boyhowdy" to me. Third time I stood in line to get a table and when I got to the hostess station she looked at me and asked " may I help you with something" as though I was not even worthy of being there.

Probably the best or second best place, locally, to get crab legs and other seafood. However, my favorite time to come is the all you can eat shrimp nights with my friends from college. We all come out, hang out then go on and have fun all night. The prices here are reasonable, and the food and service, outstanding! Give them a try, you wont be disappointed.

Ordered a baked potato with butter and sour cream on the side. Showed up to the table with butter and sour cream so I started to scoop it out and there was a USED LEMON WEDGE in my potato. Told the waiter and he just kinda laughed about it and brought me a new one. Was grossed out to eat the rest of my food and disappointed no one apologized for it.
