This is my first ever review of a restaurant. I wish I could say it was because this place was unbelievably great. Unfortunately, I am making a point to write this review because of a "manager" named Gus, he looked like he could be the owner, but I sure hope he isnt... We had bad luck with the food; one dish was given to another customer by mistake (a free desert was offered since they had to remake it), two of our dishes were ice cold (they did being out replacements for _most_ of the cold food), delivered the wrong dish to one of us (accepted it because.... Well, I think you get it by now), there is more from tonight but those are the "highlights". I understand this stuff happens and Im not/wasnt really mad about it, honestly the food was pretty good (when it was hot). Im mad because when we got the check, it was full price for everything, I asked the waitress if we could get some kind of discount or something for all the screwups. She said she couldnt do that but she had asked the manager to come talk to us three times and didnt know why he hadnt come yet but would ask again. We decided to just pay full price and then approached the manager on our way out, his name is Gus. I asked Gus why he didnt come talk to us over the last hour like his waitress asked him to, he responded that he was just too busy.... That was all, "too busy" was his answer. We could see him from our seats by the way, he was definitely NOT too busy. This kind of service/disrespect is unacceptable and because of this experience, we will never return.

A Restaurant with lots of parking place :D. Went there on Friday for dinner with my husband and 3 friends. This is a vegetarian only review as 5 of us are pure vegetarian. This is my first Greek restaurant in Minnesota. It has many options for veg people. Ambience – Good interior by big wine bottles (show piece). Nice place for dining for couples/ friends. Food – We have ordered Appetizers- 1. Dip sampler – 4 dip with pita bread. Average taste with a decent presentation. 2. Saganaki- The best dish which we ordered. Awesome taste with nice presentation. Loved it. Entrees- 1. Vegetarian sampler (spanakopita and dolmathes) – Spanakopita nice blend of spinach, chess, and crispy outer. Dolmathes good for people who like the taste of grape leaf. Though I didnt enjoy it much because of leaf flavor. 2. Vegetarian sampler (Falafel and vegetarian Mousaka) – Falafel was average in taste, while Mousaka was good in taste and presentation. Sides- 1. Rice and French fries – Both were good. Desert- 1. Baklavas- I would say below average. It wasn’t crispy. Other than that taste was good. Service- Nice and quick service. Value for Money- Yes, definitely. It cost around $15 per person. Overall decent restaurant for Greek food. Love to visit again.

My experience at Christos was met with fast, friendly service, helpful advise regarding the menu options, tasty food, generous portions and reasonable prices. I had the Aegean Dip which is essentially a French Dip, but with a pita filled with shaved leg of lamb that came with a side of fries and a choice of soup or salad. The owner recommended the bean soup and it was phenomenal. Take it from someone that isnt a huge fan of beans; it is similar to a minestrone soup, tomato based with carrots, celery, and other vegetables. The shaved leg of lamb that filled my pita was actual leg of lamb as opposed to the ground lamb shaped into the cone seen in most Greek eaterys. The Au Jus sauce that came with the pita for dipping was very similar to the typical Au Jus that comes with a French Dip sandwich, which was equally if not more delicious. I specially requested a side of tzatziki sauce which worked well alternating between the Au Jus to offer more contrast in flavor. The fries were properly salted and everything was separated according to temperatures in different bags, so that my cold coke didnt cool down my hot food and vice versa. The total for all of this food that I ate for lunch was under $9 All in all, I definitely recommend Chirstos and will certainly go again in the near future.

The food was ok, other thsn the factI that they ran out of lamb chops and didnt have mint jelly,. I have had better. The service was unforgivable. The waitress rolled her eyes at us, we asked for 2 sides of taziki sauce and she charged us for 2 appetizers fir a total of $14. It was her mistake not ours. We dud not find out until she gave us the bill along with a gratuity charge on a table of 6...obviously because she assumed she would not get a tip. She proceeded to tell another waitress by complaining about us. She should have be nice and learned by the mistake to ask before tracking on a $14 charge. 2 meals turned out to be $69. We could have gone to Ruth Chris for that, with excellent service. I refused to leave without talking to the manager, he argued with us and finally cane back and asked what we wanted to do about it. The waitress asked if we were gone yet because she was complaining about us. All-in-all, it was no other than a pleasant experienxe. I will not be returning. I have never had such poor servoce !

Is there an option for 6 stars? This was my first time for real Greek food, let alone to Christos. Needless to say, it will not be the last time. Yes, it took some time to get the main course, but wow was it worth the wait! Ive had gyros before, but usually the food truck ones. This was - by far and hands down - the best gyro I have ever had. The meat was hot (not warm or room temp) and juicy; perfectly blended. The tomatoes were very well selected; very fresh and tasty. Even the tsatziki was cold and delicious; it wasnt over salted or seasoned, just right. The tuna steak was awesome! Very well seasoned, cooked, and presented. The chicken pita was, like the others: delicious! Each piece was perfectly grilled, well seasoned, and streaming hot. The pita had to have been made in house. I highly recommend Christos. Perhaps its just because its my first real Greek food, but they really set the bar high.

First the old grumpy guy doesnt know how to answer the phone much less take an order in a timely fashion. When I picked up my order I paid for it and then he left "to help a service guy". My take out food sat for three minutes getting cold until he showed back up. As he attempted to bag the food he engaged in conversations with other staff. Clearly not a multi-tasker. I commented on how he should focus on bagging the food. He then got grumpy and mumbled about "you telling me how to do my job....and we do out jobs well".... anyways unfocused, slow, arrogant, grumpy and rude best describes the old grumpy guy. He is not an asset to Christos but the food was good. Try to stay away from him and your experience will most definitely be better.
