This makes me uncomfortable. I dont like calling out places, especially when the food / service is good. Which it was at Rinata. But Im under the impression that they are trying to take you for a ride with their "deals." My story is eerily similar to Daniels. Not sure if the owners are crooks, necessarily, but they do have an interesting way of getting you in the door and then duping you with the final bill. I went with my fiancee for a spontaneous night out, as I saw we could get a Groupon Now deal, $10 for $20. Id heard great things, so we gave it a shot. Right off the bat, the waitress said there were half priced bottles of wine. Awesome. We did that, ordered an app and two entrees, and asked for the bill. We were told that the half price bottle didnt count with the Groupon. I had read the Groupon from my mobile app and the only restrictions it gave were "between the hours of 5 - 10pm" - so this was news. Also strange that they would be promoting two things at once, that couldnt be used together, and not stating it up front. To that point, our waitress said, "well, you need to read the fine print and tell me up front." Really? Are we in charge of our entire dining experience - especially as first-timers? Plus, thats all the fine print I got on my mobile app! So, then Im upset at Groupon, and upset at the restaurant for not being clear with its patrons. In retrospect, we shouldnt have left a poor tip, but did as the comments and blaming us were unappreciated, and we got an earful as we left, being chased down on the sidewalk. I felt bad, because really - the waitress was not at fault, the way her employer decided to use the Groupon "fine print" and not tell customers was - so we circled the block to give her a more-than-fair tip. This was met with an acceptance of the money and a departing message of, "read the fine print!" I hope people read this and go with full discretion ahead of time.

Service - 5 stars, amazing waiter, great service. All menu items are as is, no smaller portions On the half price wine... look up any bottle on the menu and divide it by two... now google the shelf price of that same wine in a liquor store. Nearly every bottle on the menu is sold at the liquor store for 5-15 dollars per bottle. They are listed on Rinatas Menu for 40-50 dollars per bottle, half price is often twice as much as what the wine is sold for. The 96 dollar bottle is sold for $30 at the store... I see what you did there Rinata! Cocktails - I highly recommend the ginger old fashioned. Very nice! The dessert cocktails are also good. Negra Fettuccini with braised octopus, shaved fennel, capers, and tomato. - Im not going to pretend I am any kind of expert on squid ink pasta or negra Fettuccini, but I have had it two other times at other restaurants and really enjoyed it, would order again. Not so here. I found it very salty, kind of dry, and too fishy. You would obviously expect this dish to taste that way, but it was too strong for my taste. Papperdelle with braised wild boar, porcini mushrooms, onions, garlic, and rosemary - AMAZING. If you have any debate about what to order, and this is one of your options, GET IT. Perfect dish. Lamb Osso Bucco alla Milanese - also very good! Lamb is well prepared and soooooo tender. Risotto also prepared well.

Expect your bill to be twice as expensive as expected! My fiance and I had a groupon to use at Rinata, and decided after reading reviews here that wed give it a shot. We sat down near the front windows just before 6pm, as we hoped so we could take advantage of the happy hour beer on their website, AND as advertised on the front of their building. $3 beers does NOT include the beers on their menu, it only includes Olympia, and we COULD NOT order it because we were not sitting in the bar area. So we decided to order a 1/2 price bottle of wine instead, and then order two entrees as the menu states we cant use our groupon towards the wine. After giving them our groupon, we received our bill to find out they did not apply the gift certificate. Long story short, they trick you into not being able to use any discounts they offer to get you in the door. The bartender tried to steal our groupon so he could apply it towards a different table and take the cash. We expected to get out of there with about a $35 meal with a $30 groupon... instead we left feeling ripped off and the owner was a complete JERK and would not allow any sympathy for any miscommunication that happened. Complete crooks... we still have a groupon worth $30... if ANYONE WANTS IT well give it to them... we will not be giving money to these shysters ever again.

My husband and I have been here twice. Both times the food was okay...we each liked one thing and that was it. The salads are good, but the pasta dishes are bland and uninspiring. The last time we were there nothing on the menu sounded good and they were out of two entrees. This brought our choices down to about four. We settled for the eggplant appetizer and a pizza. And if you are vegetarian, forget it. Salad or antipasti option and thats it. No vegetarian entrees or pastas (at least not that evening). In this area you need to have vegetarian options. The service was decent, but the atmosphere is less than stellar. Tables too close together, dark, closed in, and not very airy. A bit claustrophobic if you ask me. Not the cute charming bistro it wants to be. If you want charm and ambiance, go to Amore Victoria...for the food too (especially if youre vegetarian)

This place is tiny, crowded, dark and has a tiny menu. None of that matters! The food is probably the best you can get for this price! I live in St. Cloud, I would make the drive just to go here! My girlfriend and I went on a Saturday, about 7:30 PM. It was crowded, great atmosphere. Too bad its so dark in there I thought I would go blind when I left the restaurant. We had the bruschetta, risotto, and papardelle, each and every one was excellent. I had two, minor, complaints. It was extraordinarily dark (like I mentioned), though the atmosphere was really nice anyway. And we waited quite a while for our food, but with how good it was, I would have waited a lot longer, and they did bring us plenty of bread during the wait, and the appetizers came pretty quickly. I would go back any time, for sure!

I would "pass" on this place. The 1/2 price bottles of wine are an excellent value, but we sent one entree back as inedible (excessive red pepper in the fettuccine alfredo - chefs version), and the cheese cake tasted like cardboard. It looked great coming out, and had the swirly chocolate and raspberry puree and machinated fruit, but it tasted like left-over Sara Lee. Tasted old, like cardboard. The Tiramisu was excellent; the Micro greens with root veggies (beets) was good, too. The Gnochi with garlic rubbed rib eye tasted like pot roast (pass) and the Cannelloni with roasted Duck confit was ok. Service was slow with the amount of people in there, so very not impressed with this first impression and will not go back.
