For inexpensive and fresh food, this place deserves five stars. They only charge around $6.00 for an entree, including rice, so I am not going to harp on the décor or the lack of service staff, and all of the trifling reviewers below need to get over their first world problems. Wah! The family that runs this place are salt-of-the-earth, and I appreciate their quiet humbleness. The pho is light and delicious, the fresh spring rolls are always a winner. We have ordered the stir fry dishes and they have all been good quite a few times and we eat out often to know better. Not monster portions, but who really needs am excessive amount, with an appetizer, its perfect. The Vietnamese coffee is also quite good.

Went to this cute little restaurant with a friend who swears by it. She did not lead me astray. The employees are friendly, and the food was quite delicious. The pho ga was pretty good, and the cream cheese wantons were delicious. The best parts of this place are the relative quiet to the surrounding Lynlake area, the cute little lady who makes the food, and the low price tags. Ill be back.

This is a longtime family favorite. It is quiet and very good. We usually order the barbequeue pork - which is different than anywhere else and I order the barbequeued pork nine out of ten times. The Vietnamese coffee is in the traditional style. This is authentic enough for the world traveler and has the usual favorites for the kids. I highly recommend the Saigon Uptown.

Went here for the first time. The food is OK nothing spectacular but still good and much better spent here than at a McDonalds or Starbucks for food and coffee. We only orderex drinks and appetizers. Theres only two old ladies running this restaurant. They are very nice and the service is excellent. The atmosphere is very calm and quiet.

Actually been a fan of this place dating back to when it was at Knollwood Mall in the mid 1970s Ive been taking people there for probably near 38 years now - yet to ever be disappointed. Everyone has said thanks for turning me on to this place - that says it all! Weve all aged but the food remains fabulous. Super price point too! Enjoy

Well worth the wait, all of the food is freshly made by a sweet old lady who seems to be taking care of the place herself. Its a home cooked meal that is delicious, not spendy and has a very reasonably priced beer on the side. Me and my boyfriend have already made a date for us to come back and we havent even left the restaurant yet.

Ive been here several times and brought friends here as well and they loved it too. If you like bubble tea and Pho Bo, this is one of the best places to get it. I have never been disappointed by anything from their menu and the service is good too. Very much a mom & pop little restaurant. Food is made fresh and very reasonable.

What a charming little place! The service was excellent, the atmosphere in the restaurant was great, and the food was delicious. I had the coconut ginger chicken, and pork egg rolls, which were superb. The decor is nothing spectacular, but it was less than $20 for two of us to get dinner.

Must stop here. Egg rolls are amazing and I havent found better anywhere. Hot pot soup is their fantastic secret. Staff are always friendly but dont expect to be out in 15 minutes, they make everything from scratch back there and been doing it that way all their lives.

Love this place. Be forewarned - service good, but slow. Thats okay because the price is right... Amazing value for the buck. I am never disappointed. Environment is okay. Bathroom could use some love. Nice people and above average food. Great value!!

Picked up food to go. We get Asian food once a week. This is the best ever! Sorry it took us so long to find it. And the price is outrageously reasonable. Id rather pick it up from Saigon Uptown than wait for mediocre food delivered by a driver.

Heard this place was good but I cant even comment on the food. My co-worker and I waited for an hour and never got our food. Unbelievable. Dont go here unless you have a full afternoon to wait around for food. Still hungry.

Service is way too slow. Theres basically only 1 server for the whole restaurant at Friday night. The food are alright and the environment is slightly below average. I wont go back for the 2nd time.
