I got into the restaurant where there was one table seated, no wait, and I go to order. The manager is on her phone, takes her two minutes to even look up. Then she says oh sorry my workers arent in, so she is trying to find them. She takes my order, the food takes around 15 minutes. Its sitting on the line ready to be packed up but by this point she is talking with her friends who were seated at this table. I can hear her complaining about her employees, but in reality, she wasnt really doing her job. So I waited an additional five minutes until she realized my hot food had been sitting there to say goodbye to her friends. Zero attention to whats going on in that place.

My wife and I decided to give this place a shot and were sorely disappointed. The wonton soup tasted like low grade chicken broth sprinkled with prefabricated pho seasoning. The "fresh spring rolls" are a joke considering the freshest thing about them was the oil they were deep fried in. Last but not least, the kung pao tofu had fresh veggies but was insanely salty. The tofu is marinated in some sort of solution soy solution which also adds to the saltiness. I rarely write reviews but wanted to give our 2 cents on this place. Considering its a child of PF Changs, be warned if youre a fan of traditional Asian cuisine.

The first time I went to Pei Wei, I had a Pad Thai and it was good enough to make me come back. The second time, I had Dan Dan noodles and what a let down it was. Egg noodles drenched in thick sauce and sodium! The third time, which will also be the last time, I had a chicken dish with fried rice. The chicken meat was very hard, as though it was left in the deep fryer for too long. Fried rice tasted soggy and not fresh. Bottom line: If you want Chinese in a nice setting, go to PF Changs. If you want cheap Chinese, go to your local family owned restaurant. Pei Wei should not be on your radar.

The worst Pei Wei I have ever been at in more than a dozen Pei Weis I have visited in many states. Completely understaffed, disorganized, poorly run and long wait times to order and receive food. If I had my way this Pei Wei would be shut down! Far too rushed for the chefs making food, stupid people who order online and then take up the line. 1 person working the registers for 10 customers, unacceptable and horrid. I like Pei Wei, but hate the hell out of this one. Understaffed, messy, b.s., food sitting under the lamp for 5 min before its expedited. F it! I will never back to this one!

The food was decent... once I got it. There was a line of two people waiting in an empty restaurant when I arrived. There was one server at the register and he ignored us for 5+ minutes. One person ahead of me just left. After ordering my food they took almost 20 minutes to prepare despite the fact that there werent really any other orders that should have been ahead of me. The floors throughout the entire restaurant were sticky which was a bit gross. After my experience I think Id recommend that you find someplace else to eat, there are lots of options nearby.

I have been going to Pei Wei for a so as I remember, since before I relocated to Minneapolis. The food has gone horribly downhill. The fresher foods means everything is just made quicker and they can get more orders out faster. Which isnt a bad thing, but I would rather wait for good food then get mediocre food faster. It is never consistent and the employees always look upset whenever someone walks in and they have to take someones order. Its also pretty annoying the the portion size has changed but the price has gone up

I get takeout or eat here almost once a week. The food isnt perfect, but its often better than the mom & pop places. (which is disappointing because I really want to like the mom & pop places) My favorite is the Pad Thai, but Ive enjoyed the Coconut curry & the fried rice as well. My second favorite dish is the fried rice with beef, chicken, and shrimp. One more thing - the crab wontons, sometimes called crab rangoon elsewhere is great. Unlike many versions this one has real flavor.

Yes, it is quick and cheap but not everyone has extra time or money. Like me. I think its a great in-between choice - much better than Leeann Chin, and much better than true fast food. My family hasnt had anything mediocre out of about 20 visits. The staff is friendly and helpful and they are able to answer questions about the food and alter menu items to requests. I wouldnt mind some dessert choices other than chocolate chip cookies. They have beer and wine, too.

I wont go back to this Pei Wei after 3 straight poor experiences. Each time I figured it was an isolated instance but now I see that is not the case. This location has really poor service due to a limited staff. And unfortunately the staff that IS there is quite unfriendly and consistently shows zero motivation. No sense of urgency, no sense of "customer service". Seriously, this owner/franchisee needs to clear house, and restaff the location appropriately.

I appreciate wanting to get out of work on a Friday night; however, the service and quality of food--specifically the portion size compared to other locations--is so offensive that I would recommend not going here within 3 hours of their closing time. Its obvious the staff did not want customers in the store, and apparent from our order that they didnt want to make any new food. Pei Wei is a fine chain, but I will never visit this location again.

First time my food tasted like soot. I gave it a second chance, ordered a different dish that tasted like something you cook when you dont have the right ingredients. Lunch for two costed me over $20... Both of us were disappointed :( Also the portion sizes dont differ in reality. The large is $2 more and its the same size as the small. The steak was tough and overdone.

Pei wei has pretty decent quick Asian food, with several options to customize yoir meal. I liked the sushi rolls and salad. Others in the group had their more traditional noodle/rice dishes. The only complaint is the floor is horribly sticky (so much that your shoes get stuck to the floor). Hope that doesnt translate to poor hygiene quality behind the kitchen wall!

I decided to order takeout, considering, I was on a time schedule. A signature item and 4 wontons. It took them 25 damn min. to get it out to me. Had that been mentioned at the time of order, I may have reconsidered placing an order. I understand it was a Fri. and all, but, I saw frustration in others in line as well. Ridiculous!

First time experience, ordered the new poke bowl, it looked great on the menu, I guess I should have read what it was.... Its sushi, lol it wasnt at all what I was expecting... All my fault.. but being open minded... I thought, ok here goes nothing! It was great! Absolutely delicious... service was great, fast and friendly!
