Why not charge $10 for a bigger double cheeseburger and more fries and a pop? If the quality remained the same Id come twice or three times a month as opposed to once or twice a summer. The cost to produce that meal is probably like $1. Thats even more expensive than any fast food restaurant on the planet its not unreasonable at all and is actually still expensive for this style of food. The sonic drive in is $7 instead of $12 for a double cheeseburger meal and its very comparable. If every person I talk to never comes here because the food is too expensive and smaller, why not listen and fix it? This could be a great place to eat. Hey owners!!! Quit ripping us off!!! We all go to culvers instead! The only time I hear about this place is when someone decides why not and then complains to everyone that they spent $25 on cheeseburgers for 2 people. The food is fairly good its about as good as culvers. Granted, I might prefer the drive in a little bit, but its like $12 for a double cheeseburger meal with a drink thats small even for a double cheeseburger. If I have 5 minutes as theyre fast I could go to scotty bs and get a bigger better burger and cooked medium with mushrooms and seasoned sour cream for like $2 cheaper and cooked in practically the same time. I always feel like I got ripped off when I eat here. They need to lower pricing and or increase portion size. Considering a double quarter pounder meal is like $6 at McDonalds spending double when Id probably rather have the McDonalds is kind of dumb. And yes reviews I get youre from out of town and a drive in is fun but the novelty gets a little lost after the 5th time and then youre more interested in the food after that. This place angers me.

Prices are on the high side and proportions are on the small to average side. Their BLT barely includes one small piece of bacon (barely a bite on each half) and had brown lettuce on it. When I complained, they told me I should ask for "extra bacon" next time (59 cent additional charge). Their special "Minnetonka burger" was nothing special and size was a little smaller than a BK Whopper. For a nostalgic place like this, I wouldnt mind paying higher prices for tastier or larger servings, but for average taste and smaller size, nostalgia has its limits.

We live near by the Drive in. We drive by in the early spring looking for the opening soon sign. They day they open, we are here ordering food. We have had just about everything on the menu. Their Broasted Chicken is amazing, the Ribs are fantastic and you just want a burger, its the place to go. Classic cars every Thursday night. And their Malts are delicious.

Thursday night hot rod rallies in the summer are awesome, burgers are pretty good, fries are decent, onion rings are sub-par. A little pricey but you cant get outta mcdonalds for under $7 these days so Id rather get a burger and fries here. If they work on improving service attitude and get better rings, itd be a four star joint.

This place is a community gathering place on Thursday afternoons in the summer! My favorite place to bring Pa and stroll around with a yummy twist cone looking at all the classic cars. My hope is that the owners put some money into the building and bring it back to its classic glory days, it would really improve the experience.

I liked the nostalgia. The food was good for drive-in food. Lots of calories. Pricey, but fun. People playing & happy. You pay for the ambience. Fun to watch the people and look at the cars. Cool place to go, especially on Thursday when they have older cars. Packed with beautiful antique cars! All together a good experience.

Great atmosphere and good food. Awesome place for a summer bite, burgers are good and onion rings are must try. Hot rod Thursday is always a sweet time, and being right off the bike path is an awesome spot for a quick ice cream or root beer float (root beer is phenomenal)

Mmmm mmmm, this is fast food for fast wheels. Mob on over here in your hummer and sip some root brewskis with your bros. Its not like the janky garbage at McDownalds or Booger King, theyve got the juiciest burgers in town.. and the foods not bad either.

Nice old school drive in. Hot dog, pork tenderloin, and Minnetonka twin burger were all solid. Homemade onion rings were good too, and they serve a&w root beer. We were serenaded by 60s music and had a nice Saturday night dinner.

Cashier was yelled at by other staffer for giving the wrong discount, not only is that unprofessional to do infront of the customer but it also made me feel bad as a customer, and prices seem high for such low quality food.

I visit multiple times when they are open for the season. My favorite is the chicken strip basket with their "secret" BBQ sauce. French fries and onion rings are fresh and crispy.

Right on the Dakota bike trail and easy access off of Hennepin county #15. The vintage demeanor of a real drive in right out of the 50s. Thursday is classic car night.
