The food is good the service is not. I made an on line order tonight, The site said my order would be ready for pick-up ay 6:52 pm I arrived at about 6:59 pm, only one person was in the restaurant and he was waiting on a take out order. The hostess was on the phone with a customer as I came in, when she finally hung up, the phone rang and she picked that up, the phone rang on another line and she asked them to hold, She finished with that call and then took the one on hold. when she finally finished with that I told her I had placed an on line order. She told me they were working on that right now. Phone rings again... after about 5 more minutes she went to the kitchen and inquired if they were working on my order. They must not have even started on it as I heard her say it was an on line order, and that I was here waiting. 30 minutes after I arrived it was finally ready. What ever happened to 1st come 1st served ? As soon as she had finished that 1st call, she should have waited on me and put all other calls on hold, It only only took me 5 seconds to tell her my order. And it would have taken her 20 seconds to check on my order. At that point she should have told me, that they had not even started my order. I could then have asked for my money back and gone to a Lee ann chin. The food was good and the only reason they got a 2nd star.

This place has gone severely downhill since they first opened. Used to love this place for its semi-authentic dishes (tasty enough to sate my Chinese food urge, great value and they deliver). Since then, theyve increased prices, decreased portions and have become totally unreliable with service. Whats the point of delivery if it never gets to you or gets there cold. Menu is your basic take-out Chinese but they do a couple dishes quite well (BBQ Pork, Orange Beef and a few others). On the flip side, they make some of the worst General Tso Chicken and a very bland Kung Pao Chicken; Ive gotten stuff out a box that tasted better. If youre looking for take-out Chinese/delivery, these guys used to be the best. Now Id say theyre slightly better than run of the mill take-out Chinese (which isnt saying much).

Is my go to restaurant for Chinese delivery for the past three years. Food was average to really good. They changed their website delivery online and became difficult. So I phoned in my orders after that. Did the same thing tonight everything went fine. Delivery was efficient. Awkward exchange came from the delivery person, who seems to be the manager or not I dont know… And she said oh you always order at the last minute. I was mortified . Explained I was sorry and I worked retail. Wish I wouldnt of said anything. Left a 30% tip... website said they closed at 10:30 my food was delivered around 9 to 915. Done. Forever. never again too many other options. And this is coming from a person who used to run restaurants!

I had the "Traditional Chinese Fish Soup" and it was lovely. They use walleye in it, which makes it a fun Minnesota twist on a "Traditional" Chinese soup. The cook and hostess are owners introduced themselves. They have a passion for authentic Chinese food. The guy just loves to cook. They brought us an appetizer made of braised beef with Chinese Five Spice....I think...very aromatic and tasty. I gathered he does all the cooking himself because the results are not consistent when he hires cooks. We talked a long time about his restaurant If you fancy yourself a "foodie" type perhaps call ahead an ask the cook to make some Fusion or authentic Chinese food off menu pre fixe.

When I found out I could finally order online, I was happy. It makes it a lot easier than calling when I have many kids to take care of at home at the same time. I placed an order online at 4:48pm and the email said it would be ready by 5:33pm. No problem. At 5:40pm, I called to ask where my order was. The person on the phone talked to several people and said it would be an additional 15 minutes, and I should have called the order in! Really?? Why provide online ordering if you cant fulfill the orders? We finally received the order at 5:55pm, the delivery driver did not even have a pen for me to sign the order as I had paid by credit card.

An amazing experience and realy great food. Fresh and full of flavor. The egg drop soup has a hint of Sesame sead mixed with a very harty egg broth. The General Tsos chicken is prepared with a delicate flavor of Tso awesomemess while being very distinctly bold with that tang you would come to expect from such a traditional Chinese American dish. The Crab Rangoons are light to the touch but robust with cream cheesy goodness. Dine in and you will be very cozy; quick. Order the herbal tea with Honey to top off your evening at New China Wok and you can rest assured that youll have something to talk about for a while.

Went there recently after going to a movie in Edina with a friend, as always NEVER disappointed the best service, served by owners wife Stephanie, food excellent, my chicken entree, with rice and egg rolls so much quality food, well seasoned, lots of white chicken meat and veggies, I made 2 more meals out of my left overs, that is what I like about this restaurant, Great food and at a reasonable price. My friend raved about this place, it was her 1st time dining there. Keep up the great food and service Stephanie and Ben!!!

We had to repeat our order. Next the waitperson drops off our teabags, then later our hot water, and we had to ask for teacups. Our dumplings arrived with two postcard size napkin, no plates. We heard the waitperson tell the couple behind us that the restaurant was out of carrots. i ordered a vegetable rice noodle dish and you had to look hard to find the vegetables; the rice noodles had no seasoning that I could taste. Crazy bad.

I ordered sweet and sour chicken from the lunch specials. The order came and there was no sweet and sour sauce, I called back and was told it would be 30 min for them to return with sauce. They returned over an hour and half later with a new meal and the sauce. I went in to take a bite and it is the most disgusting food I have ever had. Will NEVER go back and do not recommend.

Horrible service. I ordered The Sesame Chicken combo platter with a side of teriyaki chicken for delivery. It took them and hr and half. The T Chicken was $10 for four sticks and it tasted like it was left over from 3 days ago. The fried rice sucked. The sesame chicken was mediocre.

This place is the worst. If youre looking for a pound and a half of mutilated, deteriorating celery, carelessly mixed in with some remnant of what you ordered, this is the place to be at. It conjures up adjectives that are unsuitable to be printed here. Never again.
