If your looking for your fill on low-cost, economical Chinese and Vietnamese food near the U, this is probably your best bet. The food selection is fair for the amount of money you pay, and the best thing I tried there was the Egg Foo Young Brown Sauce. I seriously put that on almost every plate I had since it blended well with the foods in the buffet. The taste is alright, but you wont be disappointed and youll most likely leave very full. The environment definitely looks like it could be updated with newer decor, but the dimmed atmosphere really sets the mood for a Valentines Day dinner with your significant other, better than White Castles, I hope? Overall, the food is good in a sense that your getting alot for what you pay, and although some dishes are inedible, just put that Brown Sauce on it! (Im writing this review based on how I experienced Lucky Dragon 6 months ago, recipes might have changed since then) However, I once ordered take out and consumed/pitched Chicken wings that tasted off, I understand many places use eggs to coat the chicken but the Chicken Wings I had, had an overwhelming taste of eggs, the bout to go bad kind of taste.

I can only speak to the delivery - this is our go-to spot in the neighborhood to combat Sunday night blues with delicious Chinese takeout on the couch. The food is fresh and tasty and doesnt leave me in a coma or feeling ick post nom like some Chinese food does. A vegetarian friend turned me onto their meatless General Tso and now I order that instead of the regular. The avocado spring rolls are a bit too greasy for my taste, but I liked the concept. Portions are generous and we often use our leftover Wonderland to curb Monday evening blues as well. Delivery is always friendly, but can be a tad slow on busier nights.

I go here all the time with my friends and the food is very tasty, yet affordable! It has been one of my favorite Chinese restaurants I have ever gone to. Their vegan/vegetarian options are various and they are happy to substitute and accommodate so much! Service is great too. They are always willing to greet you with a smile. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Their sign says free parking but only wanted to validate part of it. Claimed free parking was for dinner only, but sign didnt say that. Bad food and decor. Tried to charge for uneaten food (at a buffet!) though no sign saying thered be a charge, and refused to say how much food could not be uneaten nor how much it would cost. Terrible.

For the past decade it is the go to place for the best food. And traditional Vietnamese dishes that are all worth trying, war bar and the best lemon imperial beef you will ever eat. I no longer work in the area but will still drive with my wife 40mins one way to do so.

Even though its only about 3 blocks from the University of Minnesota, it doesnt seem to draw much of a crowd from there. It should, as the food is great, and you get a lot of it for not much money. My favorite dining place near campus.

Not my favorite but its the only Chinese buffet within walking distance of the university. the food is solid but a little below average but if you feel like pigging out on some Chinese food at the U this is the way to go.

Biggest waste of money, small selection, every bite of food made me wanna spit my food out. Absolutely disgusting, old fruit, rock hard frosting on cupcakes. Would highly recommend not ever coming here.

Dont bother with the Chinese food, the restaurant is run by a Vietnamese family. They have great Vietnamese food, and the best Pho I (and my Vietnamese wife) have had in town.

Great lunch buffet, really good Pho, but its not on the menu. The Chow Fun is good here. If you want to eat cheap just order the wonton soup, its a good meal for @$3.
