It has probably been six to eight months since I first tried China Moon. It was good then, and my experience only seems to improve every time I try it. Delivery times are fast, usually around twenty minutes to my apartment (but I only live about six blocks away, so your results may vary). I usually get the orange chicken. Their orange sauce is quite good, I imagine it tastes just like the recipes prepared by a rural farmer in Hebei Province. The Szechuan Dumplings in Peanut Sauce are exquisite, conjuring up images of a simple dumpling vendor selling from a cart near the great wall itself. I joke a little, but as far as good, Americanized Chinese food at a reasonable price in Uptown, China Moon cant be beat.

This used to be one of our favorite restaurants to order out from. But with each recent order, its gone more and more downhill. Last nights dinner was practically inedible. The sesame chicken and beef tasted like it had been fried in old oil that had also been used for seafood. The egg rolls were dry and had terrible flavor. We decided to splurge and ordered two pieces of Muddy Paws cheesecake. $4.50 each. They were super small and tasted like theyd been sitting out for way too long. The top was rubbery. They hardly even tasted like cheesecake. Dinner for two was almost $50. No more China Moon for us.

Its so important to have a good Chinese delivery place and I have found my "go-to" option for Minneapolis. My boyfriend and I have ordered from here about 6 or 7 times and received consistently good food, delivered within 25 minutes each time. Im a big fan of their kung pao chicken, shrimp lo mein (which they have made a new favorite of mine), and their wonton and egg drop soups. Their crab rangoon is pretty good (although they are missing actual bits of imitation crab) and their hot and sour soup is better than most. We will definitely invite them back!

Do you love lo mein but hate the nasty, way-too-thick, way-too-soggy, wormy noodles that 99.9% of chinese delivery places in the area serve? Do you sometimes wish that you could just order a half order of sweet and sour chicken, rather than be stuck with way more food than youll ever eat? Do you appreciate fast delivery? If youve answered yes to any of these questions, then youve found the right place. Chinatown is, by far, the best chinese delivery place in the uptown area. Try it out- you will not be disappointed.

Their food is good but its the lie when cashier tells you the food will be ready in 10 mins but really 30 minutes. They cook and do take out orders first but why do I have to wait for everybody else food to be done when I order a half an hour ago, not only that I came her a couple of times where a fruit fly flew in my food, dead fly by the bathroom, asked for egg drop soup and got mushroom soup instead, a customer had a dog in there and the daughter is just there when her mom is in the kitchen, its just all bad.

The first time we ordered from China Moon it was awesome. This time not so much. Granted, we ordered from the Combination plates, but I didnt see any sign of beef in the beef egg roll, nor did I get much real chicken in the Chicken w Garlic Sauce (tiny strips as if they were just an extension of the "chicken fried rice" ... they had the consistency of tofu). Hubby got Shrimp & Scallops ... maybe got 2 shrimp and a few more scallops. Lots of vegetables, though (mostly big chunks of broccoli).

I have been ordering from China Moon for 5 years? Ive tried other Chinese delivery (cause I LOVE me some Chicken Fried Rice XXTRA spicy! Haha) and Ive always come back to China Moon cause the food is delicious and delivery is always on time. Plus I always imagine that Sex in the City episode with Miranda (HAHA) and now I feel like I can finally say that China Moon knows me. :D There is language barrier sometimes with the ordering but I just check it off as ordering authentic. Definite 5 stars.

We always get China Moon when we are craving some yummy chinease food. We probably have been getting it for 3-4 years, mostly we started because they deliver. Tonight I feel like I have to leave a review because its the best Ive ever had, it looks like you may have made some changes and oh-my-goodness are they ever fantastic. Tonight I had the BEST egg rolls, wontons, and coconut shrimp Ive had from China Moon!!! 10 stars guys! Thanks for the great dinner!

This used to be my favorite Chinese place in Uptown. Tonight, I ordered food and it took 2hrs and 10 mins to be delivered. The worst part is that after 1 hr, I called to see how much longer. I was told that the driver was on his way, which clearly was a lie. I called two more times. Each about 20 mins apart and each time I was told that the driver was on his way. Clearly lies. I was compensated with a free can of soda. Food is good, but beware.

Ive ordered delivery a few times now - theyve continued to show up sooner than the previous time. The most recent was under 30 minutes by a minute or two - pretty impressive. As for the food - the quality has been spectacular. Weve put in some pretty big orders and after a valiant effort have yet to go over the $30 mark, which for the amount of food is just shocking. Heres to hoping this place never goes out of business.

I love China Moon like I love action movies with no plot and cheesy jokes. Objectively bad (for you), but immensely satisfying (and delicious). A take-out order has never taken more than 15 minutes. Its always tasty. Portions are large. The staff is very nice and helpful. What more could you ask for? Sometimes you just want to watch Sharknado and eat American Chinese food. For that, China Moon delivers every time.

I ordered delivery from this place and the guy on the phone tried to end the call without taking down my address. The delivery itself was quick and the portions were equal to the price. The wonton soup was huge and very good. The lo mein was average at best, the chow mein was very soupy, and the egg roll was very dry. They also provided no rice or noodles for the chow mein.

Well... After an hour and a half, I called the store and apparently they never got my order from the beyond menu app. However, as beyond menu has great reviews and China star, well, doesnt. I will go ahead and put this in the restaurant. Rest assured, though, they said I will get my order in a half hour (not holding my breath) and I could have a free 2 liter of soda!

Good food but do not order with their online ordering system - it will take 2 hours to get to you, even when you get a confirmation email immediately. I called to check after an hour, they said 30 minutes, an hour later the food showed up. Also, they did not include forks, which when it is being delivered to a hotel that is pretty important.
