It should have been a red flag when there were no customers in the restaurant at 5:30pm. This has to be within the top three WORST Chinese restaurants that I have ever eaten at. I had a large house fried rice. Granted, there was a huge shrimp but there was ONLY ONE in a large order. Vegetable Beef? Guys, you are supposed to remove the hard stringy stem from the broccoli. You should have backed the delivery truck over the beef a few more times. It was so tough it reminded me that I need new soles on my work boots. Spring rolls? Drier than a popcorn fart with just as much flavor.... so I am told. There is no Minnesota nice attached to this review. It was REALLY that bad.The only good thing is no MSG. Other than that they are a waste of your time. Eat your money. It has more flavor. Seriously. I will be a happy camper if and when Red Ginger delivers to Shoreview. For now, the search for a comparable restaurant continues..... I am not holding out hope after eating from this joint. NAAAAAA-HAAAAAAS-TYYYYYY!

Lets just start with the fact of their delivery criteria so I live a solid to minutes away from the place and thats "out of their way" I mean come on its a straight shot down Lexington. So when you order online for delivery when you live at least "as FAR away as I do" you can only have a subtotal of 14 dollars and Im freaking hungry I dont want just 14 dollars worth of Chinese food which better be amazing when I get it. and I cant have 14.50 or even I penny over or under the limit so I had to sit here for like 20 minutes starving trying to get a subtotal of 14 freaking dollars. So now Im freaking Pissed so there goes a customer you would think that you wouldnt have a limit to spend dont you guys want money why are you limiting how much I give you I mean its your freaking loss guys. and you cant order from delivery until 5:00 like I still had to wait till it was 5 to order then wait another 45 minutes to actually get my food like golly this better be the best stuff I have tasted in my life

I used to love this place but not anymore. The last two times we tried to go there for dinner were miserable experiences. The first time we waited in the entryway with about a dozen other people and never saw any employee and after 5 minutes of waiting we left. The next time, Jan 6, 2017 we were seated and someone did take our order but after 30 minutes we still havent received even the soup or appetizers. We cancelled our order and again left. At dinner time there Is one man who is the cashier, waiter, busboy, hostess and maybe even the cook because he disappears into the kitchen for long periods of time. Very poor service but can no longer comment on the food. I hope they can turn this around.

I continuously visit Great China for lunch and dinner and I have to say that their service is very good and the men that workers there are very friendly and humorous. Once, I had to wait in line for a while due to a lot of people waiting for take-out and I left but I can back in 30 minutes, they had acknowledged my patience and made my food right away. It was delicious and fresh, it was totally worth the wait. The restaurant is very clean and appealing, I bring my family there all the time. My kids absolutely love the Vietnamese egg rolls. I will continue my visits!

Going on the reviews of others, my wife and I, new to the area, wanted to try out Great China. We ordered Crab Rangoon, Pot Stickers, and lemon chicken. The Crab rangoon were small, flavorless, and undercooked. The Pot Stickers were very doughy and tasteless. The Lemon Chicken was the worst of all, burnt, dry, and nearly inedible. To be fair, this was only three things on the menu, but when we are talking popular appetizers and a house specialty, I hoped for more. We may go back and give them another chance, but it would be because we didnt find anything better!

Terrible experience! The food was very small portioned for how much money I paid. My egg roll was completely burnt. My vegetable fried rice had absolutely NO vegetables, it was just brown rice... The server was very unpleasant and clearly didnt want to be there. The wait to be seated, receive food, and pay the bill was unbelievably long. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Ate an amazing banquet here for a private party. Everything was delicious, much better than your standard Chinese-American fare. The roast crispy duck and walnut shrimp were especially succulent, and the sole fish was fried and filleted and filled with delicious chunks of seafood. Overall, the decor is light, the service moderate, and the food excellent.

I absolutely love this restaurant. My family has been coming here for more than 20 years! The staff has watched my family grow and change over the years. Theyve celebrated all our milestones and grieved our losses too.The food is always hot and consistent in its taste and presentation. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

I have to give three stars since Ive had horrible Chinese food, some good, some great and some that is just out of this world. Great China gives you great food for the price. Ive gone back several times. The portions are big and the service is friendly. I get the seasame chicken and love it.

Been here several times for lunch... love the soups with great fresh veggies, and the Vietnamese egg rolls. The lunch specials offer a good variety of choices, with lots of food for the money. Ive found the service to be quite pleasant as well. Will be back early and often!

Been here twice for lunch. Really good food for a reasonable price. The hot and sour soup is the best I have ever had anywhere. The lunch special is a lot of food. My biggest complaint is that service is SLOW. If they could fix that I would give them 5 stars.

Decent Chinese food and reasonably priced. Ive known the workers for years and they are always friendly and offer prompt service. They offer takeout too! I can personally recommend the wonton soup, lo mein, Hunan chicken, and pork fried rice.

Brilliant, great food and great service, one of the best Asian food places I have eaten, not many people in the restaurant, but the carry out was very busy. Why do people not eat in these restaurant, they just do carry outs strange.

Always had a good experience. Good value/price, delicious food, and I like having Vietnamese food close by. The Pho and Vietnamese egg rolls are my favorites but Ive had the Chinese food too and its been very good.

The Vietnamese egg rolls were delightful. They had a crispy coating unlike any we have had before. They certainly were not burned. The pad thai was some of the best weve had. The noodle salad was also fantastic.

The delivery was timely but that is about where any positives ended. 3 different dishes all seemed overcooked as if they had been heated reheated throughtout the day. the egg rolls had an odd aftertaste.
