We visited the Highlander after reading good reviews online. Unfortunately, our experience was not so good. Our waitress seemed very inexperienced. She did not tell us the specials, we had to ask. We requested our salad to be split, but kitchen forgot to do it. The waitress was not in tune enough to split it herself. She instead told us to do it ourselves. She took our bread away without asking if we wanted more. Too bad we did not know that it would take 1 hour and 20 minutes to get our food...we would have asked for more bread! The waitress kept blaming the long wait on a large party that had just ordered. Once we got our food I was disappointed to see that my prime rib was cooked the incorrect way. We were offered free dessert, but it was not enough to smooth over the horrible service that we were given. The food was really good, but do not think we will return.

Called in for a reservation. Got there 5 minutes before. They said we werent on their list. So we waiting 35 minutes (when they said it would be 10). Got to our table. Once we got to our table, we ordered appetizers. Took 30 minutes to get those, while the people next to us got their meal already (they were seated after us). Appetizers werefries and nachos. Both were cold by the time they hit our table. Took an additional 40 minutes to get our dinner (a wrap and sandwich). Waiter came by and just tried pushing us into buying more drinks not trying to serve us food. If only the restaurant was as nice as the golf course.....

This course was in exceptional condition, better than any course Id played all summer and certainly on a par with University Ridge in Madison, WI. I enjoy playing quality courses that are interesting and well cared for, and Rush Creek was a pleasant surprise. I used every club in my bag. Our "outing," small as it was, was arranged by anther person and me, coming from another state, had no idea that Id be playing such a great course. It certainly was tough--not much forgiveness for errant shots on the majority of holes, but it was a pleasure to play. Just bring your A-game!

Course is over-priced ($110 mid day, $75 with a cart twilight). Course is always in phenomenal shape (Dales crew does a great job and you dont see them on the course after 10-11am), Beverage cart attendants are friendly & stationary (can be a bit frustrating if youre out of adult beverages between the first 4 holes) pro shop staff is a bit snoody & acts as though its an inconvenience to service you. Love that they offer birthday rounds, highly recommend playing here during your birthday or 1/2 birthday

Rating the restaurant, not the golf course. Food is average. But DO NOT order the cheese curds. They are deep fried dough balls with hardly any cheese in them. Gross. Quesadillas were ok. Service was slow for 8:30 at night. Poor service. Asked for water, but didnt get any. $8 for a less than average malt and the Guinness was not fresh. No rral reason to go here other than there was no wait to get in.

Ive had the great pleasure to golf this course twice. Beautiful and stately clubhouse. Both times Ive golfed here was for a benefit tournament and the staff pulled of a very smooth event, silent auction and lunch both times. This is about as good as it gets in the Twin Cities. But it is a bit of a drive to get to compared to some other good courses.

I like the course, its a above average course that has all good holes but no one spectacular hole. Secondly, they have a great junior rate, which is 25 dollars compared to the 110 for the normal everday golfer. Their teaching pro, Aaron Jacobson, is very good. Lastly, their french fries are EXCELLENT!

We had a family event the beginning of December and highly recommend Rush Creek. Everything met our expectations. The facility was decorated nicely for the Holidays, serving staff made all feel comfortable, food was excellent, and the event coordinator, Lisa Albers, met all requests timely.

Beautiful venue for a wedding. Patio was set with White chairs overlooking the well-groomed golf course with fall colors on the leaves. Inside the reception hall, tables are set with linens and tables settings. Very well decorated and put together. Very fancy gold club!

Rush Creek is amazing. Great greens (fast and true) and professional staff. My glove ripped on 6 tee box and by the time I was over my ball in the fairway I had a new glove from the pro-shop. Thinking about buying a membership at this place for next year.

Weve used Rush Creek for many years for our quarterly client event. The Sales Manager, Lisa, has always been helpful. Their staff is friendly, hard working, and always checking in to see if anything is needed. We look forward to more future events.

Played in the PrarieCare Tournament on 6/13/17. Everything was EXCEPTIONAL! One of the most beautiful courses around, meticulously maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful, food was very good. All Around it was a great day to be there.

Golf course is great, but I go for the restaurant and bar. Nice outdoor seating in the summer with beautiful views of a perfectly groomed course. Prices are reasonable and food is always top notch. They also often have live music in the summer.

Great place to hold corporate offsite events. The facility is beautiful, big windows everywhere overlooking the golf course. The staff is very friendly. The food is good. The big lunch room has high ceilings. Plus they have a nice bar as well.

Course is always in good shape and the food is good but the customer service(golf related) is horrible. It always seems like its a huge inconvenience for their employees to do their job. Not a good thing for a overpriced course.

While slightly on the expensive side for golf, you do get what you pay for. Whether a tournament or a round with friends the whole facility is top notch. Dont forget the teaching facility is one of the best in the metro too.

The restaurant serves reliably excellent food... The course is one of the finest tracks in the state, but you get what you pay for as its not cheap. They also have two brews from my favorite brewery, Badger Hill, on tap!

Awesome Date Night Spot! Spectacular views from the patio. The food is very good and reasonably priced. Not a stuffy country club like one would expect. I highly recommend Rush Creek to any one!

This has to be one of my more favorite golf courses in the area. The greens are always kept very well and the club house is great. Now if I could only play better.
