Where can you get a fast burrito that is a meal itself? Chipotle! When you first approach the counter you get to choose the container your food comes in, whether burrito, bowl, taco, etc... I fully recommend the quesorito from the "secret menu." It takes a minute longer, but is well worth it as they take a shell, make essentially a quesadilla and then put your fillings inside it like a burrito. Once you have your container you choose your rice, beans, protein, sauces and toppings. You could add a side of chips, but you probably wont have room for them. Everyone here has been nice on the two occasions I have been here this month. Early in January they had a national promotion where if you get the new soy (which they are calling sofritas) you would get a free second burrito later in the month. Avoid the sofritas! They were a bad texture that they tried to fry, which made them hard to eat on the inside and outside...think pencil erasers. If youre a vegan, just pick the beans and rice with no sofritas and save yourself. The chain has also been out of pork lately due to not being able to find some pork providers which are supposedly up to their standards. We happen to be in Iowa, which is dense with pork providers of every type of standard but vegetarian. This is a poor excuse and completely unbelievable. Fortunately the beef and chicken options are great and provide a tasty protein for your huge burrito. You can order online and pick it up on their side kitchen door to avoid the line entirely, which is great for a quick lunch!

The Asian guy got an attitude when I pointed out his glove was ripped and I asked him to change his gloves. That piece that was dangling was rubbing on the counters and peoples burritos as he was preparing and wrapping them. At least the three I saw him make with the same gloves on. I know they are trained to change their gloves and wash their hands between glove changes. I know it takes more time, but it is the correct way to do things. Thats designed to cut down on cross contamination, bacteria and disease transmission. Chipotle is lucky Im not a health department worker. They need to realize people have to ingest the food and we are relying on these workers to care enough to do things properly instead of getting an attitude, arguing with me or laughing about it. I also asked for the manager, who basically blew it off. He said he would talk to the guy but he didnt even bother to help me like I asked.

This location is a bit smaller, not too many tables, actually feels a big claustrophobic to me. There is extra seating just outside the store in the mall but they have a fish bowl feel since people are walking by constantly and it is right in front of the doors, so cold in winter. They were friendly when I went in and the food was good. I do find they tend to pull the quesadilla from the griddle too quickly so I ask them to let it go a bit longer so it actually gets hot. Overall, love the freshness of Chipotle, really good tortilla chips, have not found anyplace else with a quesadilla or chips that compare. In the DSM metro I find the Mills Civic location to be the best.

The food was good but the service was poor. I was sitting outside one night and they were being very loud and disrespectful to the people sitting around trying to relax. Singing at the top of their lungs and banging the pots and pans around not caring who is around. Will not be coming back.

Horrible service and the food was not all to go crazy for. Very over priced and the employees rub their nose and do not wash their hands! Very bad experience I have ever had. I definitely will go back to Qdoba Mexican Grill. They go above and beyond for their customers!

Food tastes good, But you have to pay at least 13$ to get full bowl of meal in Valley west or Jordan Creek locations, quantity they serve is less, if you need more you have to pay extra, above 10$ for fast food is Ridicules, stop going to these locations.

So this was incredible. I recently started to go deaf and couldnt hear what was being said over the music especially but the cashier heard I was deaf and started signing to have a conversation and made me feel so much better about it!

Fast, healthy, fresh. Great options for kids that you wont feel bad about feeding them. I really like the Barbacoa & Sofritas. This location, like others that Ive been to, is clean with friendly service.
