Ive always enjoyed going to this deli/restaurant. I love my dinners there. Today (Sunday), however, the brunch was alright, but not as enjoyable as my evening meals. Our waitress was phenomenal, so 5 stars for her. However, this was the first time I ever had a negative interaction with a member of the deli counter staff. Unfortunately, this time a male member of the staff, who wasnt even preparing my order, felt the need to say that I should have called 20 minutes before to place my order. My deli order wasnt any different, except it was Sunday afternoon versus Friday evening. Im sure he felt as if he was making a "helpful" suggestion, but the tone and manner in which he said it really took me by surprise. Normally, my husband and I dont decide what were going to purchase from the deli until after our meal. In any case, I actually needed to sit down and contemplate if I should put back all the items I brought to the counter. My husband eventually purchased the items, but I was left feeling short-changed with customer service today. Im uncertain if the woman who was preparing my order might have said something that led him to believe she was feeling overwhelmed at the moment, but I wouldve had no problem waiting if she would have felt she needed to get someone to help her. In any case, I am feeling disappointed, which is unfortunate, because Ill feel a little tinge of something the next time I see him.

Been here twice now. Food is much better here than say at a Perkins. Much more flavor. However the service is pretty substandard. Both times now weve ordered bloody marys only to have them brought well after our meals were already on the table. The wait staff walks by you two or three times before stopping to ask if they can start you out with anything. A bowl of soup is brought on a full sized plate and makes you wonder if they are just mixing and matching things. While the rebuen that I had this time suffered from an over abundance of cheese and sauerkraut and only a modest amount of corned beef, while the Crossroads Hot Corned Beef was piled HIGH with it. The latter sandwich had much more flavor and taste. Could be so much more.

This is the worst Deli in the Twin Cities! I was last there over a decade ago and thought it was way overpriced then. We were in Hopkins for a movie and decided to give them another chance. That was a bad mistake. It is Overpriced, inferior Deli food. The cabbage borscht was way too sweet and virtually inedible. They wanted $18.00 for a salmon bagel that is only $7.00 at Brueggers Bagels. The Matzo ball soup was dreadful. The ball was heavy and tasted like Matzo Meal. The broth tasted like it was like from a can. The service was also slow, We were the only people there at 9:30 and our order took 20 - 25 minutes. Pass on this overpriced joint and go to Morts, Brothers or Cecils. We certainly will not be going back.

My wife and I stopped here for dinner just to check it out. I ordered the standard burger not expecting much and my wife ordered the roasted chicken. Little did I know the secret name for this burger was the wrecking ball of awesome. Mainly because they actually knew to rest the meat before putting it on the bun. The chicken my wife ordered was both tender and crunchy. This is very strange because I thought most restaurants made a pact to purposely dry out their meat. So you can imagine our surprise when our food was served hot, fresh, and tasty. The server was extremely helpful explaining the large menu and she was very attentive. We will be returning soon... very soon... maybe tomorrow.

This place is AMAZING! OMG, where do I start? I went in for Sunday brunch, buffet style. First of all, we got in super quick, there was no waiting like most other brunch places around the city. They greet you warmly and make you feel like home. The servers take their time with you. They explained how everything is made from scratch by their cooks. I tried almost everything they had and WOW! The food is very very tasty, my favorites were the cheesy hash-browns, the sausage, the waffles and their cinnamon french toasts! I am glad I discovered this place. Check them out, you wont be disappointed. I will be going back for sure.

Food was decent.Terrible service. Server acted like we were a burden on her. A giant spider crawled up my daughters leg (two year old) and the staff didnt seem to care. Didnt offer to have us switch tables. After looking down the gap between the booth and the wall, where the spider came out of, we found old food that was rotting. Disgusting. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. Will not return and will make a point to recommend people NOT go there.

Budgeted an hour at 1:00 for soup and sandwich. Its been 45 minutes and no service. Their computers went down and they didnt tell us anything until we needed to pay. I imagine the food could be good in theory, but we are just sitting waiting. Update: had to leave. Waitress came in the room 20x and never stopped by. We had to leave. No communication. Maybe the food was coming in 1 minute maybe an hour no way to know.

This was my first time here. Went for dinner on a Friday with a group of eight. They take reservations. Everyone enjoyed the pickled beets. I had the Beef Shotribs which where excellent. The only problem is if you order a cocktail, it took over 30 minutes at our table. This I found out is dependent on the deli counter, which is where the drinks are made. If they are busy you wait.

Ive been going to Crossroads for 13 years. Their food has never been better. The owner, Kevin, still greets everybody at the door. The chef, Scott, cuts the roast beef for their popular Beef on Weck in the dining area for all to watch. The Kevins Kombo with pastrami & corned beef is out of this world. An amazing bakery, too.

I liked the food, but $13-$18 dollars for a sandwich with potato chips and they want extra for fries, coleslaw, etc. Maybe 4 stars, but the service was horrible. We got there at 1:00 pm and only a few people left in the restaurant after lunch. Waited to be seated, waited to order and when we were finished the server was gone.
