China Palace is our favorite at work. We order at least 2 times per month. Favorites are #3 Kung Pao Chicken (says spicy but its not too spicy) and #12 Sesame Chicken. This is the best Sesame Chicken I have had in the Twin Cities! Good sized pieces, great flavor to the sauce. Much better than Great Wall in Edina...sorry. Free Cream Cheese Wontons for delivery purchases over $15-20 are delicious. Reading previous reviews, I would have to say that the woman who answers the phone is lovely and always helpful (please have patience)! Gentleman who delivers is wonderful too! No complaints. Give them a try, you wont be disappointed.

Dont let the size of the buffet fool you. Each item on the buffet is amazing. The sesame chicken is moist on the inside, has a nice crisp on the outside, and is covered in the best sauce Ive ever had. The fried dumplings are also great. For soup, it was the best hot and sour soup Ive ever had. It looks like a hole in the wall Chinese joint nestled in a strip mall, but its one of the best in the metro area, hands down. Its $8.50 for the lunch buffet, plenty of seating, and Ive never seen any empty bins on the buffet because they refill it immediately. The staff is great, accommodating, and very friendly. 10/10, would recommend.

My co workers and I have ordered from China palace multiple times, we love having their food for lunch but there is a man that works there who is beyond rude on the phone each and every time we call. Im sure he must be an owner of some sort or there would be no way he had a job. He has been rude and disrespectful each time he has answered the phone and yells and hangs up on the phone constantly and then continues to yell when you call back. If it was not for their good food Im sure they would be out of business for their customer service.

We ate here once and there was decent food and since they so largely advertise that they "DELIVER" we called one night and were really excited to have it delivered. Free delivery over 15 dollars! Well, turns out they said that they only deliver within 3 miles after we ordered and hung up the phone they called back and said we lived too far away. We live less than 10 minutes away and less than 3 miles. The lady was rude and inhospitable so we decided we werent going to give them our service that night. Not going back.

Just wanted to throw out a compliment for this place. My shop orders delivery from there most Saturdays because its great food and the service is excellent. The guys in the shops favorite is the sesame chicken and the cream cheese wontons are by far the best in town. April 2017. I have been a long-time customer and today we ordered dinner delivered to the hospital where we just had a baby. Charlie sent our food along with a signed card and a balloon. Now thats customer service. Who does that? Thanks guys!

Best chicken in town! Love the orange chicken... crispy, sweet, real chicken... not the leftover, slimy trimmings that you get from a lot of Chinese restaurants. I imagine they prepare it the same way for sesame and lemon chicken dishes. Eggrolls are very good, still crispy when you get them home. Traditional chow mein could use some more flavor. Owners are very pleasant and always cheerful when you stop in for takeout. Well worth the 15 minute drive.

I love this place. The staff are wonderful and the food is delish. The young lady always has a smile on her face and is happy to assist you. I have always had a wonderful experience here and who can beat free delivery?! Not too many places offer it anymore. The drivers have always been fast and very polite when I have had my food delivered and its nice and fresh. Definitely the best Chinese food in town hands down. Go check it out for yourself.

Worst customer service EVER! Dont bother wasting your time.... I ordered delivery, I kept telling the woman over the phone that I wanted shrimp fried rice. Only to wait 1 hour for them to deliver the food with white rice! I called them only to have someone tell me " I instructed you to call back in ten minutes"! As if they were doing me a free favor... Never have I been spoken to sooo rudly... dont waste your money!

Not exactly a true Chinese restaurant. I ordered a Chicken Chow Mei Fun (thin noodles) and instead I was delivered a weird blend of chicken, celery and broth/gravy. It essentially tasted like turkey and gravy... a soup of gravy. Granted, the taste was good (thats why they get two stars). If you are ordering something from here stick solely to English words (Sesame chicken, chicken and broccoli, etc.)

Joke..I walked in at 825pm, guy in back booth never got up , said theres a menu up front..then said its only take out, they are cleaning up..so no sit down dinners now.. I left, called to ask for managers name. He refused, said manager will be in monday am, and hung up when I asked his own name...what a disgrace after enjoying their food before...never again will we return

Everytime we order we try to only get what we can eat... But end up with enough food for 3 meals. The value is great. The taste is great. The portions are ginormous. The delivery time for being about a mile away was great... Like under 20 min from ordering we got the food. Id recommend this place and have to many people looking for a quick tasty bite.

Just walked to this place as it is within a block of where I lived to come face to face with a sign stating that they will "Be closed from June 12th to July 5th in observance of the American Independence Day Holiday." Closed for 23 days for a single day holiday... Well youve never had my business and will never get it now.

This is our favorite Chinese restaurant. We either eat there or take it home a few times a month and we LOVE their cream cheese wontons. They are the best. EVER. Everything is good here. I cant say enough, we go there so much they know who we are when we call in for our takeout. :) Love this place!

I was spoiled with aMAZing chinese at Beijing in Duluth, so I have to compare this to that. It doesnt quite match up, but its still quite good! Love the pork and broccoli. Food is super fast. I live a couple blocks away, and if I order delivery, its at my door within 15 minutes!

This is by far the best Chinese food in the Minnetonka/Hopkins area. I was hooked after the first few bites. i recommend the Mongolian beef with broccoli and baby corn. Also you must try the cream cheese wontons they are possibly the best i have ever tasted.

The building looks a little run down and the buffet is a little small...but dont let these factors throw you off. Each dish they serve is 10/10. They are heads and shoulders above other Chinese buffets for the quality of their food. You need to go here.

This is definitely up there when it comes to favorites. Im not sure what they do differently with their fried rice, but its very good! The portions are great for the prices, and the owners are very sweet, helpful people who recognize their customers!
