Stop in Sunday 4/23/2017 about 1 in the afternoon, was not busy 3 servers running around taking care of tables. We sat ourselves after a few mientus when we saw the very small seat yourself signage. We were greeted rather quickly by a younger guy who said he would be right with us, then a women showed up and started to take our drink order. three bloody mary bar and one screwdriver, took over well over 5 mins to get our glass that was just Ice, and vodka. went to the station the was set up for making your own bloody mary and it was almost emptied of all the fixings, when we brought this up to our server it was like a chore for them to get more product. We ordered the timber logs they were on point and were good. All of our drinks are empty and we are looking around for our server and she is at another table all the way acrossed the restaurant so then I watched more and not one server had a "section" of tables it was like a first come first serve thing, hard for a server to give good service when they are all over the whole restaurant. When the server finally came back over we placed our orders and ordered more drinks. we all got burgers. went back up to the bloody mary bar only to find it still lacking a lot of the products that we had been told were re stocked, seemed kind of odd that you offer this as a draw to get people to come into the business only to have it fail and be very lacking. Again was brought to the servers attention, and said they would be filling it up. Food came out, had to ask 2 servers for silverware, burgers that were ordered Med were much more closer to well done no pink what so ever in the burger, toasted buns were ICE cold. cheese on burgers were not melted, half of my tater tots were warm and the others were hot seemed to mix old ones with new ones, nothing was seasoned very bland. By this point we just wanted to be done seeing how every time we asked or brought something to our server it was chore or she was very defensive saying "well we never have people say that." Never a sorry your experience was not what we strive for, nothing of trying to make anything right. Cleanliness of the restaurant was not well. Garbage cans overflowing in the server station by the bar, overflowing bus tubs with dishes and garbage, We really wanted to enjoy our experience. But this was a one and done place for us.

Rita keeps the ice warm, the chili hot, and the beer cold. The sweet-potato fries are awesome and everyone loves their burgers. Breakfast is great and goes well with the bloody-mary bar on the weekends! NorCal Margaritas are their specialty so bring your Paleo friends..! None of the barkeeps or waiters / waitresses look to be over 25, but don’t let that fool you...what they lack in worldly knowledge they make up for with great food and friendly conversation - even if it is about the latest internet memes… The bartenders are fascinated by jokes with chicken and fish in them - for some reason. But keep it clean because they tend to blush when someone tells a racy joke..! Also, the barkeeps tend to be masters of music trivia so try and stump them whenever an obscure Don Williams or Foreigner song comes on the radio. Every so often, theyll kick the regulars out to have some type of women-of-the-corn, Purse Cult, secret kind of meeting where they trade purses with weird names like COUCH, and GOUCCY…but it’s over pretty quick and seems to satisfy some mysterious need in the women of the surrounding community. It is really one of the places you must visit if you like great food at reasonable prices. It’s way better than Tom’s burnt-out junkyard that my wife had me visit on Madeline Island..! At least here, half of everyone you meet is above average and your popcorn doesn’t get wet when it rains. Two snaps-up and a twist for NW’s..!

Food was good service was not. Someone besides our server brought our food out and asked if she could get us anything else, and I said yes, another beer as I hadnt seen our server in awhile. She said shed let our server know....well, 15 mins went by and still no beer. I went to the bar and got my own and the kitchen person who brought out our food saw me, ignored me a d quickly told our server we wanted a round. I got back to the table with my beer and about 5 mins later here comes another round...ummm...I just wanted a beer no one else wanted another drink...I was charged for that round that didnt get drank and that was the tip...sorry...

Food took 35+ mins for 2 adults & 2 kids and there were only 8 tables of people eating food(yes I counted). Pancakes were hard as plastic on the top(they sat under the heat laps too long), hashbrowns tasted like they cooked them in last nights burger grease and the kids french toast was 1 small piece of bread and 1 burnt strip of bacon. Server apologized for it us having to wait so long, but this isnt first time weve had bad breakfast there.

Its a really good place alot of people go there they have great food the servers are realy nice, alot of people will say they will never go back but its cuz its differant then other resturants me my mom my moms bf and my sister enjoy but mostly cuz were treated like family there and if u dont believe me fine ur loss

We go often and have always had good service and the food is good with very few exceptions. Burgers and chicken sandwiches, specials, and best happy hours in the area. Oof Da tacos (fry bread) Mondays and Saturdays, all You can eat ribs Tuesdays, all You can eat fish fry Thursdays. Whats not to like?

We had a bad taste in our mouths right from the start. Kevin the owner or manager was about as rude as we have ever experienced just to have a bite to eat. I will not go back there. The watress was great but there is no need to have to put up with someone with a chip on their shoulder.

Awesome, upbeat live bands. Service is hit or miss. Server this last time had no personality, was terrible about checking in - had to go to the bar for a glass of water I never got. Food is always awesome. The northwoods sandwich is amazing.

Great burgers, but also a wide variety of foods and snacks. Good beer selection, good drinks. This is the place all he locals hang out and just enjoy! Very worth while! Its our "new" favorite place to go!
