This is a great little neighborhood dive bar. The food is relatively cheap and very good for what it is. All the sandwiches and burgers I have ever ordered have been very good. The sides are always hot and fresh and the food has always been very consistent. Great appetizers. The margarita wings and southwestern rollups are my fav. The only thing I have ordered from here that I didnt care for was the pizza. The crust was very close to cardboard. I was actually surprised because everything else has always been so good. We go here about once or twice a month and sometimes pick up food to go. We ordered pizza once and that was about two years ago so unless they have changed it I would recommend something else (they did get a new guy in the kitchen so maybe he has made it better since.) At any rate I have to add that the staff has always been friendly and attentive whether they are busy or not. I like that some of the waitresses can have "attitude" if you let them know you are comfortable with it they will open up and show true personality (which i love.) Also, we have been here while they had a band playing and 95% of the time they are pretty good. It does get a little loud during a game and people come to watch. Never been there for breakfast but I have heard time and again how good it is and anytime I have driven by during morning hours the parking lot is pretty full. We will have to try it someday.

Really the only reason I go to this place is for the pancakes. Ever have a pancake that was the perfect texture on the inside and crisp on the outside? No? You are missing out! Go here and try it out. The pizza is not my favorite, but it better than Broadway. The one thing this place really has going for it is the pancakes. Go there in the morning and rock your socks off with this sweet and crisp tasty treat! You owe it to yourself. The only downside really is the service, it not always bad mind you, just inconsistent. But its a bar, that should not be an excuse but even with that, the pancake really are good enough to over look the little bad things.

I have become a regular here for a couple of reasons. First, I love the staff! Everyone goes out of their way to make sure you enjoy your time here. Also... Ive always had good food and if for some reason it wasnt quite up to par? ALWAYS taken care of by either a comp or a to-do! Do not leave unhappy, unless you are too afraid to be polite about it and let them know there was any issue (before youve devoured all of it). They make great drinks and the prices are fair. Friday Happy Hour is fun... meat raffles, games. Live music on weekends. Give this place a shot!!! I doubt youll regret it!!!

I was at JRs on Sat. March 14th. They were having a birthday party for one of the guys in the band and a St. Patricks day party. The place was packed with people, The band was great played everything we requested. Service could have been better, our waitress charged us more for drinks then the bartender. Had a great time, well go back, but well order all our drinks at the bar.

I was in for breakfast on the 22nd of February and Im not a morning person so I was critical and this place is awesome! Food, service, atmosphere, value. All wonderful. My thought to your negative posts are this: learn how to relax when your out. Your wife isnt waiting on you.

Dont know about the food, but Im thoroughly unimpressed with it as a bar. Ive had two different call drinks (good stuff), watched as they were poured, and both taste like cheap rail booze. Are they cutting the good bottles with cheap crap?

Great food, great service, great bands on the weekends, with a comfortable atmosphere. A nice place to take the whole family for a meal. The owner is very active in the community, patriotic, and is a friendly guy.

Breakfast on VDay was packed. Literally, no tables ever stayed open for more than a minute. Food came out hot and in adequate time. Pretty impressed with our first time. Will definitely be going back.

Cheap happy hour, but service can be slow and tough to get. Friends have had less that great meals, but I cant personally attest to that. Wings are good, and I am cheap, so they still get 3 stars.
