Driving up from Minneapolis, desperate for lunch, I spotted their sign and was intrigued by something slated a "grill & market". I went into the market side first and found a narrow little deli stocked with Boars Head meats and cheeses and organic milk and organic eggs. They even had olives and classy little pasta salads. I asked the man behind the counter if they made sandwiches, he said yes, on the bar and grill side, but he could make me a cold deli sandwich. I politely demurred and crossed back to the Bar & Grill. Its a small room with perhaps ten tables, a discreet half wall fireplace protects the diners from door drafts. A sweeping arch of gleaming cherry wood makes a classy bar behind which are two large flat screen television busily indoctrinating America. The order window for the kitchen is at one end of the bar near the registers for the wait staff. I was greeted by highly competent wait staff, friendly without being perky. She promptly ordered me up a roast beef and provolone sandwich, with fruit instead of french fries. I trotted off to check out their facilities. Rate that a 9. Clean & bright with automatic sinks and a foot operated garbage can. An automatic toilet would have given them a ten. When I returned I waited briefly while the waitress set me up with a diet coke and my bill. I paid and minutes later my food arrive. Wow. Piled slices of roast beef, juicy and flavorful, topped with perfectly melted provolone and scattered all over with crisp red peppers and onions which had been just seared enough to bring out their flavor. The whole thing was on a sourdough baguette, toasted perfectly on the outside and warm and soft in the center. A giant spear of pickle divide this culinary beauty from freshly sliced fresh apples (no edges of core) and sliced oranges previously denuded of their rinds.I started salivating immediately. And it tasted as good as it looked even though I had to eat and drive. I also left with a take out menu (listing T-Box Chili, Watercress Waldorf Salad, Jucy Lucy, Capelini Capresse and a Jamaican Jerk Pizza) and the firm conviction that I would be back. Ill leave that fifth star blank until I return, since Im not sure what their Colorado bulldogs are like.

I went to T-Box for the first time for dinner on a Sunday night. I think it is probably the best restaurant in the area food quality wise. Im willing to overlook the poor service we received given it was a sunday night and she might have been new, but I did take a star off for it until I have another chance to try this place again. The Food: We ordered the Steak Burger, Box Burger, and the guido pizza. I have to say that all the food was excellent, surprisingly so for a bar & grill in a strip mall. The fries seemed to be housemade and were crispy and delicious, and the burger was cooked medium well at my request, without being overly charred, and was juicy and very tasty. The Box Burger, which is their juicy lucy, is heaped with toppings and the pizza was great. The portions were also very generous. We will be going back to try the steak which looked amazing and the fire baked cheese which has been recommended to me. The Service: Here is where this place went from 4 stars, to 3. The service was pretty terrible. The restaurant it pretty small and there were 2 servers and a bartendender. Our waitress forgot to put in our appetizer order in to the point that when we asked about it when our entrees came she didnt seem to even remember us ordering it. Annoying, but I was willing to overlook simple human error, we had her take the app off our bill and she made no attempt to make it up to us. She hardly checked in on us at all, our drinks sat empty for the entire meal until we finally were able to flag her down to ask for refills and I asked for a side of mayo. She forgot both of those things and only came back when we were done to ask if we wanted refills and to give us the check. Again I will emphasize it was not busy, and the restaurant isnt that big. Ambience: This place feels intimate and quaint, with only a few tables, some wooden booths, and a fireplace. I can definitely feel the vibe they are trying to put up - wine connoisseur with some steak place but intimate/romantic.

EXTREMELY displeased with a menu item, the Chefs Omelette. The pricing for this entree was not listed on the menu when every other item on the menu had a price. And what I finally got on my tab for the omelette is WAY OVER THE TOP on price at $11.99. My group of friends try different brunches at a different venue each month and I have received far better value and quality for $11.99 at a five star restaurant compared to the omelette I received last Sunday. The other issue with this place is that their service leaves much to be desired. I received my omelette AFTER most of the rest of my party had finished their food. And many in the party had to wait because the cook made the wrong half sandwich with the wrong bowl of soup. So I would definitely drive on by when looking for a place to eat.

Very nice looking place. Medium light, music played overhead, didnt see a TouchTunes when I scanned the area. TVs over the bar. Booths, tables and what looks to be an outdoor seating area come warmer times. Sat at a booth, lots of space, tables move. No cushions, but surprisingly comfortable. Service was good. Happy hour is great and makes for a good value for what you get. Draft beer selection is good if youre not looking for the "mega regular" brewers as their list only had one. Menu was very high priced. Also, the descriptions contained unique sauces or combinations. Tried finding the menu online but was unsuccessful. The website is lacking basic functionality beside hours and some self-adverts as its difficult to use. I would come here again for happy hour, but not for appetizers or a meal.

We have eaten here many times because it is close to home. Our last time in, I ordered a caesar salad. At the bottom of my plate I found a piece of blue terry cloth dish rag. I asked our waitress if they used this type of dishrag, she confirmed that they did and shrugged it off. Nothing was offered up in compensation and in fact after speaking with the owner, the only thing he said is "Oh, that kind of thing is goning to happen." Not the expected....Im so sorry, no appologies and no compensation what-so-ever. I do understand that rare mishaps will occur but when and if they do, I at least expect an appology or explaination. The food is OK but over-priced for what you get. Will not go back.

T Box is a dining establishment that has potential. Hopefully the owner reads the reviews and takes note. Yes it is confusing when you arrive, do you seat yourself or wait to be seated as there is no hostess. Second, we have dined there twice one time in the evening and service could be better, again the owner needs to work with young staff, to see that they pay more attention to the table, and yes bread with dinner should be a given not having to ask. Second time was a late afternoon visit and this waiter knew how to wait a table. Food has been fair to pretty good. Above average for food especially in that area, average for service in the evening.
