Im only giving them one star because it wont allow me to give less. We go to this Perkins often because its close to my grandparents house. They are getting older and this location is easy to get into and not very busy. When we walked in and asked for a table for six, they wanted to bring us back to the tables for parties in the back. My 91 year old grandpa uses a walker and clearly doesnt walk well. I asked if they could put two tables together that were closer and the manager did it, but seem annoyed. Mind you, I would understand if the restaurant was incredibly busy, but it was just the average Perkins dinner crowd. The waitress didnt even take our drink order for 15 minutes and then our food order was soon after. We waited over a half hour for our food. When some of it came out it was lukewarm at best. It took another 6-10 minutes for the rest of the orders to come out. One of the orders was incorrect. The waitress was trying to act like she was surprised that some of the food was cold and offered to have it remade. We declined because we had already been there for close to an hour. She said that she talked to the manager and he was going to do us a "big favor." He came over and said he would cover our whole bill. Awesome - except for his tone. I work in customer service. I understand how it works. However, the situation should have been handled better. The waitress should have checked on us and apologized when the food was taking so long and at the very least refilled drinks. I will add this is not the first time our food has come out separately at this Perkins. Last time I was there my brothers food didnt come out for almost 15 minutes after the other 3 orders had arrived. Better training - more efficient cooks - improved customer service are necessary. My family will not be going back - we will bring my Grandparents to the Hastings location in the future.

I work there and I feel like there are times when people could do better but patience is the key in any situation... Also do you know how the management is treated by corporate? We have a horrible bathroom and very little staff supply so keep it well kept. Please chill we try hard with what we have and most of us cant stop some of the issues. I know all of us though take the time to do the job right! Are you human do you have bad days? How about you try running a restaurant and tell me how you theory of "The world is perfect" still plays in effect! Otherwise stop dropping IQ point cause I know you think we want to not help you and your last on this list of life but truthfully we do as much as possible given our resources. Get a clue please! I am also gonna state not everyday is bad and a lot of people are very nice. Please stay calm Ill take the time to inform others about bug scare though and on behalf of our crew we "Apologize!" As far as us being over priced we are being greatly affected by the economy so sorry for the world pressure businesses! We regrettably cant be cheap due to economy.

TERRIBLE!!! I ordered a bread bowl chicken salad last night and was in the middle of eating my food when i looked down and there was a white small beetle looking bug sticking out of my ranch dressing, it looked like it had dropped in when i picked up a bite of salad! I told my waitress and she kind of laughed it off like it was funny and she sd she would tell the mgr. The mgr came over and said he took off my food and to think of it as a free 10 meal! I still had over half of my food left!!!! They NVR asked if they could make me anything else, very rude, all thought it was kind of a joke! R U KIDDING ME! NVR AGAIN WILL I GO THERE! YUCK!!!!

Bad service. First I watch people that came after me get there order taken. Then once I did finally get my order I was rush. Then once he brought my food he for got my sauce. In the process of asking what kinda of sauce I want spit came out his mouth on my food, arm and table. He look smile an still ask which sauce would I like. I told him never mind I dont want the food or his spit. It was just all around bad service

Excellent service serving 30+ family members for our get together. Very accommodating in keeping our family together after our Funeral Service. Very delicious Turkey and Dressing Dinner and Lemon Meringue Pie. Family friendly with clean high chairs for the children and very well lit. Would I return? Yes! Do I recommend this place? Yes!

OMG. Big prices for little blah food. Cant fool me by spreading the food out on the plate. Hash browns are handed out so sparse I think someone is counting out the slices in the kitchen. Typical Perkins, pay alot, get a little. At least this way, you dont go home with a belly full of grease. Havent returned in well over a year.

Good service and the food was hot when it came out. My dad came up for a vist and was pleased. The building needs a update but dont let it put you off, I think that is my only put off. It looks very uninviting from the outside but honestly other than that & they were out of some pastries I would recommend.

Five stars because of Michelle! We were her last table late Christmas day, and she was the sweetest and most kind waitress! It was obvious that she is a genuinely nice person, and it was just part of her beautiful personality to be caring. Thank you for the wonderful service Michelle :)

50 Cents for onions on your hash browns at this Perkins Franchise in Cottage Grove, Mn. ... Onions on hash browns at Perkins in Hastings, Mn. are free! Management was very rude when informed about variable Perkins pricing... Dont waste your time or money when GREED is their NEED!

Service was ok, food was good, but I HAVE to mention, our waitresss nails had dirt and gunk under them. Gross. You are handling our food and silverware and you have dirty nails and hands. I dont think we will be back. Disgusting. You are in the food industry. Wash your hands.

Worst perkins Ive ever eaten at, I can see why they werent busy at 8pm on a Friday night. My salad didnt come out till after my meal(hour later), several people in our party had under cooked food and waited almost never came around. Never again.

Its Perkins, not a lot to tell. I always have breakfast items regardless of the time of day, so I cant speak to other menu items. The service is usually good and the food is consistent. Its a good late night fallback if you dont want Applebees.

Horrible service, rude employees, need to get better booster seats for kids not just the ones that go on the seat my daughter 16 months old needs a strapped in one not very enjoyable and they were vacuuming during dinner

If I could do negative stars I would! I waited 40 minutes to get rock hard pancakes, warm milk, runny omlet. Plus all of it was ice cold. I took my first bite turned white instantly and puked in my mouth.
