This place was good many years ago when they first opened. It now sucks. Owner/lady is rude. Seems like you are bothering her when going up to pay the bill. My family and I once waited 45 minutes for the rice platter we had ordered to come out. Asked the waiter 3 times where our food was and each time we were told itll be right out. Finally told the waitress we want to cancel the order and get our check for the appetizers we had received. On our way out the owner was informed and we were told that our food was ready and they would bag it up for us to take out. Told them if I wanted takeout I wouldve ordered takeout. Instead of an apology the owner looks pissed off at us....are you kidding me. While trying to pay for what we did receive, the food was brought out in a bag and shoved at me. Told them I dont want it, paid for what I received and left. Throughout the whole ordeal owner never said one word to us. I would not drop any of my hard earned money at this place again. Lots of other places around here to get viet food.

I find it weird that there are reviews here from anytime in 2011 as this place just opened in Brooklyn Park in February 2012. Unless they moved from somewhere else. Anyway, Ive only had their takeout so I cant speak to the in-restaurant service experience, but the food is all right, not outstanding. I mostly order chicken entrees. The orange chicken is just okay, not very orange-y and not very spicy. The kung pao chicken is also not very spicy. And it isnt very flavorful either. The garlic chicken? Not very garlicky or spicy. Its possible theyve toned down the spiciness for bland-loving Minnesotans! Maybe if I request it more spicy they will accomodate. The quality of the chicken used can sometimes be gag-oricious as you chew into some cartilage or stringy fat. The combination dinners where you get your chosen entree with an egg roll, fried rice, and sweet and sour chicken are the best deal Ive seen there, if you are really into sweet and sour chicken.

Great food fun atmosphere. Recently had just the regular meat ball with rice noodle pho. If you as for the thick noodles theyre a little different than most places. But very good. The broth was fattier, but that made it taste extra delicious. We also had some spring rolls. Came during their Vietnamese new years so got to see a variety of different dishes as well. Very spacious location and plenty of parking area. With a large amount of competitors around this area they sure are putting their best forward. Atmosphere: 5 (It wasnt too busy around the lunch time we came in. So noise level was fair. Food Quality: 5 (One of the top in this area) Service: 4 (It wasnt lacking still good.) Cleanliness:5 (It was) 4.75 Stars. Ill be back.

Nothing about this restaurant is great. Owner is very rude, food quality is extremely bad. I would not recommend anyone trying this restaurant, owner takes cheap to another level. I ordered egg rolls to go, when I got there I asked for ltitle extra fish sauce, she went in the back and grab a small tiny container of fish sauce. As I place the fish sauce container in the to go bag, the cook came and reached her hand in the bag and took the fish sauce then said NO EXTRA. There are few other great vietnamese restaurant in the area, but not mandarin kitchen. I would not go there if they were the last restaurant on earth.

My cousin said the food was good there, so I decided to call for take out. After 10 minutes of a busy tone, I decided to drive there before their 9 pm closing time. It was 8:27 pm when I arrived and they were closed, lights out and no one was present. The sign on the door also stated the 9 pm closing time but no other sign was posted with a reason for the early closure. I couldnt tell you what the food taste like, but I do know that my time and gas are valuable. I have no use for a place that doesnt stuck to their stated business hours!

My girlfriend and I were going to make this a usual place to get pho but then we got 10 minutes into eating. Our server never once came back in to check on us or refilled our water. Apparently some of their friends came in and they all just sat two tables away from us to chit chat and laugh while ignoring everybody else. Who knows, maybe it just wasnt my lucky day. What a bad first impression though, I dont think Ill dine here again. Maybe take out, but then again there are other restaurants with better service around the area.

Foods were fair, not so good.If anyone come here to eat need to mention the prices. Were order 2 Pho and 4 Bun Bo,price on menu are $7.25/each(Pho)and $7.50/each(Bun Bo).When to get the bill, they charged $8.05 for each Pho and $8.95 for each Bun Bo!!!When I asked why? The answer was because they made special. That was not right because in the menu havent had any words about special and they didnt even told us about special!!! NEVER COME BACK TO THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN!!!!!!!

If you want food that tastes like garbage and pho that tastes like dog vomit. Then go there. Theres like 5 more pho shops in that area that tastes WAY better than this restaurant that supposely serves "authentic" food. You couldnt pay me to step foot in there. I rather wait in a hot busy summer mc Donalds drive thru with no AC, and get a fat greasy burger that probably tastes better than mandarins whole menu. OK Im going off topic but for real though. DO NOT GO THERE

Very good food. The pho we ordered for extra size was huge and yummy. The seafood chow fun was tasty too. We ordered the beef chow fun takeout was nice too, except a little bit oily and the beef was not soft enough. The restaurant was super busy, but we still got the orders quickly. Service was not excellent, but wont complain a busy restaurant like it to serve us every minute. Will come back if we visit Minneapolis next time.

Food is great here! Service is always fantastic. Theyre all so friendly maybe because my co-workers and I dine in a lot here that they know us. Lol. I usually get the wonton egg noodles soup, the Mi Ko (dry noodles with beef dressing), steam rolls (amazing!) or the black bean sauce oysters. Besides my regulars there, Ive tried other many things on the menu and it always seize to amaze me. Great Chinese-vietnamnese food!

The best chicken & broccoli Ive ever had, great orange chicken, and excellent fried rice. Havent personally tried anything else yet, but I hear the Pho is good. The service was good for a take out place (friendly on the phone, and they never mess up my order). Prices are good. My neighbors like it, too. Highly recommended.

I love this place. Their food is amazing. I always order the same thing, pho and spring rolls, sometimes egg rolls. My husband always get the fried rice and a pho. I think this is , by far, my favorite pho restaurant. They are friendly and its cozy there. The downside is, its a bit small.

One time, my boyfriend and I went to this restaurant. And Id say were usual cusomers, but one time the guy tried to rip us off $10. Luckily the young lady next to him told us the real price, but overall their food is good. Just remember to ask for reciept otherwise calculate your meals.
