Great place to eat! The owner is very friendly and the food is amazing! The negative review from Kline West is inappropriate. He was an angry customer who asked the owner to remove the tax fees from his order but due to state regulations, the owner couldnt remove it. He then proceeded to insist that if the owner didnt remove the tax fee, he was going to write a negative review on google. Dont listen to what he has to say. If you want to know how people feel about this place, give it a try yourself or read others reviews on google. This is a great African restaurant with amazing employees and great and delicious food! Check it out yourself and you be the judge.

This is insane for whoever called himself Kline West to refer to this restaurant as a bad restaurant. How on earth do you know that there was a rat poison in your food. My brother go else where with your bad attitude and crazy comment. I have been eating at this restaurant for years and see no reason for your negative comment. This is the best restaurant and I will continue to support and give them my business as long as they are in business. Loving it.

One of the best places to find authentic African foods. Great environment plus really friendly staff thats willing to customize your food selection. Im from West Africa thus I usually find it ludicrous to pay for something that I can make myself and/or have family members do for me. But with that said, the cooking and down to earth home feeling you get at the African Deli, is definitely worth it!!

This food is over the top amazing! I & my fiancée had our first outing ever at this restaurant and we are getting married next year. African Deli is our favorite go to spot - the jollof rice is to die for! Spicy and delicious - the customer service of the husband/wife owners is A+. Tough luck if you dont reside in Mn like me but be sure to check it out if you are in Minneapolis.

This restaurant is what it is. I like the food. There is nothing wrong with it. There are variety of choice of food. Sometimes it gets busy so the smartest thing to do is to make an order by phone and when you get there just be a bit patient just like everyone else and you would be helped.
