Its after 11 p.m. & there are no lights on in the Cub parking lot. I told the first cashier I see and he says thats Krause Andersons responsibility. I asked him to repeat himself because I didnt think he was really passing the buck like that. No, thats what he said. So I looked at him and I said I dont care, this is Cub, thats the Cub parking lot. I came here to shop late at night and I want to feel safe. As your customer, thats your responsibility. He just looked at me, dumbfounded. And I told him that was a terrible response, then walked away. What happened to "Im sorry maam, Ill notify mgmt right away."?! This is why Ill drive 5 miles away to shop at Walmart in Burnsville, than go a block away from home to the Valley West JERRYS Cub. Too bad for me I forgot to get TP at Walmart.

Deli department was a nightmare as usual. Last week I went to get a pound of smoked turkey...got home, label said smoked turkey. Inside was peppered turkey. So, I go back this week and noticed that their signage was wrong. They had been selling their peppered turkey for 5.99. Which should have been smoked turkey for 5.99. Their price for peppered had been 8.99. I tried to bring this to their attention. But I must have been speaking Japanese. Their deli department has been one got mess for years now. (I live right aross the street)... Horrible customer service. (they are actually rated as the worst Cub in Mn. In this region). They simply dont care. If you want better service try the one on Lyndale South.

My most vivid memory of Cub Foods is from shortly after I returned to Minnesota from living in Paraguay. I needed a bar of soap. Stepping into the appropriate isle I was paralyzed by the huge selection and the fact that at minimum I had to buy a multi-pack of soap. If the US is your only experience of the world we live in, you should be aware that not everyone is so fortunate to have access to all the things the average North American takes for granted on a daily basis.

Employee work ethic is awful. Today, going down the middle of the lane, the employee who was pushing carts decided to give another employee a ride. They were laying on their back on top of the carts, as they went down the middle of the lane. It was busy, yet they didnt seem to have anything better to do than get paid for laying around.

Do you guys have a secret shopper there? because i have to say hes not smoothe at all, if you want to catch shoplifters you have to be more discreet than that. Secondly im slightly offended seeing that i am a die hard cub foods fan and am in there all the time. Other than that i love you guys

Moved here from Hot Springs, Ar about a year ago. Ive tried different stores but Cub is my store now.. Very friendly employees , always helpful. Great Deli and Bakery. Really nice produce. I like this store.

This place is well organized, stuff is, for the most part, easy to find. Nice selection of items, fresh fruit and produce, friendly employees. A great place to run a quick errand or to do a big grocery run
