Ive been a server for most of my life and I appreciate the hard work that all servers do and the sometimes difficult nights that everyone has, however I think that a good server should always take responsibility for his or her shortcomings. When we were at Crave on friday night, (sept 26, 2014) in a group of 10, our server Lilian brought a dish to one of the ladies that wasnt what she ordered. She blamed it on the kitchen and then told her that she should just eat the one she brought her while the other one was being made. My sister in law, also a server, said its ok, Ill just eat this one, because by the time my dish comes, everyone will be done eating. So she did and though the dish was good, she said that if she had ordered it, she would have asked for no cilantro. But not wanting to ruffle any feathers, she just ate it, making a little pile of cilantro on a corner of the plate. When the bills came (GRATUITY INCLUDED - 20%), she got charged for the meal that she ate - which was more expensive - and which also tells me that it was, after all, the servers fault, having punched in the wrong item in the first place. I complained to her saying that I couldnt believe she was actually charging her for her meal and the server then said: oh Ill give her a discount so shes paying the same as the other one she wanted - or something to that effect. Lucky for Lilian that the gratuities were included and she can just brush off her night, walk away with about $60-$80 for one table of 10 and never see us again. Not so lucky for Crave, as we will NOT be coming back and will make sure to tell all our friends, that even though the food was kind of average, nothing to write home about, the service was terrible, irresponsible and deceitful. Rule #1 of serving: never, ever pass the buck, then expect your customer to pay for it. It shows.

Me & my boyfriend come here about twice to three times a year usually for our birthdays or anniversary & there food is GREAT! First off they have a beautiful restaurant decor with a dark rustic style & great rustic lighting as well. You can see the kitchen from mostly anywhere you sit so its nice to see them making the food. The atmosphere Is really nice to with music & people talking & laughing & just having a great time overall. I usually order the entrees which is most of time the Flat Iron Steak/Baked Mac & Cheese/Chicken & Roasted Mushroom Fettuccini or pizza which is Classic Pepperoni Pizza. Its hands down the best food around if you want a classy restaurant. There drinks are very good as well & they plug them pretty good for a very good price, it can be expensive but its well worth it for a special occasion but overall the price is somewhat decent compared to most places that dont meet the taste standards. The bar is very beautiful as well and they do have a outdoor/indoor patio for a more romantic night with red drapes & romantic lighting including candles. They also have a party room for events & special occasions & I believe they cater to. You might want to make a reservation if you go around Dinner time because the Mall of America can be extremely busy at some times & the wait has been up to 45 minutes to an hour long on weekends & the sheer amount of people in there can be overwhelming. I would recommend going on a weekday during the day or night or maybe when you have that day off go with ur special someone or a good friend because it wont be so busy at those times. I would highly recommend this place if in the bloomington area or if ur seeing a movie & want to eat great before you go. Im pretty sure they offer coupons once in a while inside or online.

I really hate to say negative things about a restaurant; however, my spouse and I went to Crave last Friday night and had a very poor experience. First off, we had called ahead to be put on the waiting list (as we were on our way). When we arrived, our names were nowhere to be found. By this time, the waiting list had mostly dissipated so we were able to sit down quickly. We sat down, looked over the menu and discovered an appetizer that we wanted to order prior to our entrees. Our waiter came and we placed our appetizer order. We stated that we still would like to look over the drink menu and entrees. The waiter stated that he would be right back for our order. Well.....30 MINUTES go by before our waiter comes back to our table! Another server brought our appetizer (which was finished by the time our waiter returned). Our waiter walked by us several times without stopping or even making eye contact. We were so frustrated with the service that we paid for our appetizer and left. The waiter NEVER apologized for his tardiness. Very disappointing!

Somehow my experience at this place stripped me of my ecstatic, celebratory mood down to the bare bones of a dissatisfied and off-put patron. The environment was alright to sit down in if not a bit resonant due to the mall noise pollution, but that was not even a smidgen of the problem at hand. The service was in my face - which I understand to a point due to my allergies, but enough was enough - and the food that I ended up getting was incorrect. For most people this is not a huge ordeal, but for someone with allergies eating in public can be a life-or-death matter. I havent even begun on my roommates food. She received a large portion of sushi in a boat to which she was skeptical on whether or not it was the fish of last month. I was not happy and ended up getting sick after they fixed the mistake of my food (yes, sick from the food they switched my incorrect order to), and my roommate was still very hungry and had a bad taste. We left the restaurant very much dissatisfied and will likely never return to this or any location of Crave.

I would give them zero stars if possible. My two daughters and children arrived at 5:40 on a Sunday evening. They had maybe 25% of tables occupied . While we were seated immediately at the table closest to the check in desk we were not attended to or even acknowledged by any waiting staff for 5 minutes. There were 4 staff chatting at check in who also ignored our trying to get their attention. I refused to go beg them to have a waiter come to our table . Several waiting staff cleared two tables next to us but also failed to even acknowledge us. Bottom line we got up and left commenting to the front desk that were were leaving due to no one attending to us. They said they would get someone but too late! They lost a customer never to return to their chain again. There are better choices at lower prices anyhow!

If I could give you a zero I would. My brother brought my nieces and nephew to visit, spent a day at the mall. Went to this establishment and ordered literally 200 dollars worth of food (overpriced mind you) ordered 2 drinks. The kids food (spaghetti ×3) took forever, they got fed after a long wait, my brother and I waited over an hour and fifteen minutes for ours, after 3 people said they would check into it..... it was going to be another 35 minutes..... well if they dont mind around 300 dollars income including tips, and you dont mind being fked... its a great place.... p.s. we walked out after they told us it would be another 35 minutes for our food.
