Honest opinion, I very rarely post poor reviews. I just had to share my experience tonight. We were in the mall and saw a sign that kids eat free Sundays. We decided to give it a try. Ive had good experiences at their downtown and MOA locations. It was around 5pm, so we were able to get a table quick and the server got our drink orders quick. The wine was really good. Our daughter got the kids chicken and veggies. The chicken was low quality and was barely seasoned. The veggies not good either. We tried the lettuce wraps which had good flavor but nothing even close to as good as PF Changs/Pei Wei. Then we got the lemon pepper chicken. It came with uncooked veggies (by design?) and the chicken was not seasoned at all. The mash potatoes were the only thing we could eat. The manager noticed we werent eating much and offered to give us a free Flatbread. We were ready to leave so we asked for a desert to go instead. 5 minutes later he came back with a desert menu (we already had one on our table). 10 minutes later he came back and asked which one we wanted. I said whatever is the fastest. He comes back quickly with the chocolate cake on a plate. I asked if we could get it go again. He apologized and then brought it back in a container. All of that is nice, but we ended up getting charged for everything, including the kids meal which was supposed to be free. I asked him about that and he quickly apologized and brought a new receipt with the kids meal taken off. However, he forgot a pen so I had to sign the receipt and enter a tip with a purple crayon. For a disappointing meal, it was still over $50. I do not think we will be coming back. At this price level, I prefer Redstone, Tavern 4&5 or Kona Grill.

We went to the Eden Prairie Crave to celebrate my birthday last night. Food was delicious but service was very slow and not what I expected since we were celebrating and spending a lot of money on dinner, drinks, apps, and dessert. We were greeted immediately and we ordered my kids food since they were hungry. Server didnt come back to get our drink order until after our kids food was delivered. She also brought the complimentary bread and kids drinks and fruit after they already had their food. We have been to moa Crave several times and kids practically get greeted with fruit, not get it after there dinner. Our table was also soaking wet from the glasses and full of dirty dishes during our whole experience. We were sitting at a little square table by the wine wall. It was way too small for the huge menus and all the stuff in the center, especially with 4 people sitting at it. My husband ordered a steak and I had the shrimp and scallop pasta dish. Scallops were amazing and I will be back for those. His dish didnt have a steak knife or brussel sprout side dish. We told server, I watched her help 2 other tables and run some food before she came back with his steak knife. I think having a steak knife is pretty important and she should have done that first so we werent sitting there looking at our food for 10 minutes. For how expensive this restaurant is, I personally think servers need smaller sections so that they can give better service.

Well known name, amazing location. Absolutely no question. Ive been to the EP location a few times now and the front desk seems to be a bit disorganized, it sometimes takes a lot of extra time to get sat even when there are numerous open tables. My biggest gripe is some of the bait-and-switch pricing. The mall has big signs for $9.99 meals, all day happy hour on Sunday on the website, etc etc. When you get in, nobody seems to know anything about this and they just direct you to the normal menu. Maybe theyre just not effectively communicating specials with staff or maybe its intentional but the two tables on either side of us last time and the same complaint. Very strange but these could just be new restaurant opening pains. Will try again in a few months, great food overall. Above average wait times for food but great ambiance.

It took 20 minutes before I placed an order for my food. I sat at the bar and understand that it was busy. The ladies next to me were catered to but I was overlooked. Obviously I was ready to order. I pushed my menu out of my way was wasnt even looking at it anymore. Still, they talked to the people next to me and never bothered to see if I was ready. Finally, someone asked if I was ready to order. I order the dynamite roll and the chicken pad Thai. The sushi rice was soggy which made the entire roll just gross and the fish wasnt fresh. The pad Thai was okay. I wouldnt order it again. The bartenders themselves were nice it just took way too long for me to get an order and once again, I was overlooked.

Good food and decent service. We dined on an early Saturday evening with 2 kids. Its a nicer restaurant that still qualifies as being kid friendly. Everyone liked the food - cheese flatbreads for the kids, the lamb burger for me, and the prosciuto fig flatbread for my wife. The entree prices are a little on the high side for what you get, but we had a 30% off coupon to offset that. Wasnt a fan of waiting 20 minutes to get the dessert we ordered. Overall, it was a pretty good experience, but I would probably need another coupon to go back. Without the coupon, this place is more like 3 stars.

Ive had great experiences at the MOA location, so I was kind of disappointed when I came in today. Service was really slow - it took upwards of 10-15 minutes to get a beer, and I watched our appetizers sit in the kitchen window for a decent amount of time until someone finally grabbed them. For a slow lunch, this was surprising. Our food was pretty mediocre for the price and the server didnt seem super thrilled to be there (maybe Im reading too much into her awkwardness). All in all, a disappointing day. I hope theyll pay more attention to service in the future.

The food is decent, but youre paying more for less. In a word, its pretentious... you pay a premium for the trendy decor and sushi rolls that experement instead of offering a standard bill and some house specialties. I dont think I will return. Two sushi rolls and water for $30 versus $70 for heaping plates of sushi at Osaka (9 rolls in total there!) and lots of sake and wine! The warm moist towels delivered to your table are kind of weird. Overall, a business trying too hard to be trendy. Foodies may enjoy it but people who just like good food, go elsewhere.

Sushi was OK at best, Ive had better for less. Also they forgot to give me soy sauce and chop sticks. So I filled up a drink saucer and ate it with my hands. They also forgot one of the kids meals and took a full 20 minutes to bring out Mac and cheese for the poor hungry kid. The manager gave the whole table free desserts (that was kinda nice). My French dip wasnt to bad but it could have had a bit more meat(just being picky at this point) wife said her pad thi was very hot and oilily. Also we were there for a long ass time, over 2 hours.
