Went through the drive through last night. Ordered 3 grilled chicken tacos, the menu says grilled or steamed chicken and two burritos. I was served steamed chicken in the tacos. When giving it back saying you made a mistake they said that is grilled chicken as if thinking I am a idiot and can not tell the difference. We also ordered two small sides of cheese sauce and a side of ships. When asked to pay the amount was very very high. What I asked to read off the price of everything it all looked good until we got to the $5 for cheese sauce and $5 FOR CHIPS. She said she put in for large cheese and the chips are $5 extra but said "I guess I can throw in the chips". The girl at the window would not listen to a word we said and was more interested in talking with the boys she worked with. After saying I would like beef tacos instead of the chicken I got three tacos so saturated with liquid I could not even eat the tacos and threw them away. This place is not worth the price when they do get it right for starters and now has lost my business for ever.

-2 stars since first visit. I cant seem to stay away from this place, even though I was a bit disappointed the last couple of times. Again, the shredded beef was somewhat tough, but this time also chunked instead of shreded. I hope they go back to the way they were & soon! Was so much better then!! Update to the last update. I have been a little disappointed in the quality the last few times Ive been there (1-2 times/week). The meat (shredded beef) has been dry & tough. The flour tortilla has been chewy like rubber. Update: I crave the #1 with shredded beef at least twice a week. Super friendly, fast service with deliciously flavored food! Second time here & Im contiplating just hanging out until Im hungry again! I suggest trying the #1 with a Cayman Jack margarita if youve never tried their food!

Ive ordered here 5 times for take out and not once has the order been correct. Ive had to walk back in several times and typically the staff or manager isnt happy to correct their mistakes. Some things to double check at the counter: If you request order with no cheese (especially if you have a dairy allergy) make sure to check they actually take off the cheese. If you request corn tortillas, make sure its not flour tortillas. If you request and pay for extras like sour cream, tomatoes - double check as they are routinely left off. Ive never dined in but take out seems to be very unorganized and a hassle.

I went to El Bamba at the suggestion of my husband. First, it is quite small inside with only 4 booths. But they have a patio with a lot more tables. I ordered a quesadilla with chicken. It came with a small pile of lettuce with a spoonful of diced tomatoes and some sour cream next to it. I thought there wasnt much flavor in it at all. I wished there was more lettuce and tomato to dress up each bite too. The place appeared clean to me and staff were attentive. Overall experience wasnt terrible but also wasnt one that makes me want to return either.

I went there with my wife. I got the Pollo Loco and my wife got the beef nachos. The nachos were not too special but the Pollo Loco was AMAZING! The chips and pico were also fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly and quick concerning everything was made fresh. If this place was in Minneapolis they would be on the front page of City Pages. Ill be returning every time I pass through.

Tacos and fajitas served at room temperature - no exaggeration. When the cook went to heat it up he grabbed the salad with his bare hands, put it to the side and microwaved the meat beans and rice. Another customer went right back with his order to complain, too. El Bamba is a health department problem waiting to happen. Im hoping I dont regret stopping here later on tonight.

Went for the first time yesterday. I had a beef enchilada and tamale. The tamale was hard and the meat burnt. To hard to eat, like it had been microwaved a couple of times. The beans were bland and the rice overcooked and had no flavor. I also felt that the food was overpriced, but was willing to try it. I went to the one in Spring lake Park.

Recently has new owners, food quality has not increased but prices has doubled. Last couple of times i went I was forgotten after I was told to wait for my carry out. Online menu is outdated having several items no longer available, as well as prices being about 2 to 3 dollars off per item. I would suggest trying a different local resteraunt

Fix your outdoor menu call box! First you tell me to just pull up to the window, next time I should have ordered at the call box, and just now I sat there without acknowledgment for an unacceptable period of time...Im done with that call box....if I see that same red, old ___ call box, I aint stoppin. Besides that lil rant, the food is good!

Friendly staff and interior was clean but the food just wasnt any good. Nothing had any flavor and, having lived in Mexico, I feel confident writing that theyre playing pretty fast and loose with calling it "authentic Mexican" food. Its not authentic and it wasnt any good.

Very friendly staff and very flavorful food. The salsa is amazing. Great churros and savory meat. Dont let the size fool you, very good. They completed probably 8 deliveries in the 30 minutes I was in there. Also decent prices too. Highly recommend.

After shopping at the outlet I went to el bamba and tried the bamba nachos the chips when thin and cripsty perfect with the salsa it was so good I had to try the tacos and loved those to I will be coming for lunch everyday I highly recommend it

Messed up my order, couldnt fix order because manager was on a delivery, waited a half hour before I told them I wanted my money back which they never refund to my card like they said they would. To top it all off my husband got food poisoning

Excellent Mexican takeout. I had the Bamba Burrito with Chorizo & Rice. Their cheese sauce is wonderful and unique! The dinner size is really big and it was so good, my wife ate half of it. Next time she gets her own!

Many choices and without being too spicy. A few beers/Smirnoff are available and portions could be shared...in other words pretty big. Outside seating when warmer. Definitely coming back!

We love this place. We get takeout and enjoy. Staff is very helpful and a great experience. Dining in may be a little cramped in the small eating area, however.

Love the shrimp tacos. We always order with soft corn tortillas and 3 out of 4 times they came with flour. We were at home too far to return them...so sad....
