Ate there with my toddler. For the two of us with tip was over $15 and I left hungry. They were out of the first kids meal ordered and out of applesauce. Should have just ordered hotdog separate as paid $5 for plain hotdog and bag of Fritos. (Plain hot dog is $2 on menu). The pickle and substitute side that was supposed to come with the kids meal were never brought out. She tried telling me she put my kids side of coleslaw on my plate but I had just watched her give it to the lady at the table in front of us. My order was supposed to come with coleslaw and a side of cornbread but was told the menu was incorrect regarding the cornbread. I was offered a replacement side of an additional two bites of coleslaw. Had to ask the waitress for the replacement side or wouldnt have gotten it. The side of coleslaw came in one of those sample cups you get when they have samples at the grocery store- very tiny. Would have thought that for $8 for a sandwich they could have thrown in a cheap pickle or bag of chips with it. Other tables ordering also had to make changes as they were out of what those customers originally ordered also. Waitress was overall nice and service was prompt but wont be going back.

The prices have double compared to their online menu, so if you use the online menu to make a to go order dont assume its up to date! Also, altho the sandwhiches/burgers are good, you can find the same quality at just about any other average burger joint for way less than $9.00 a sandwhich. AND get sides. Sinclair doesnt even offer fries, chips, nothing! $9.00 for a sandwhich with absolutely no sides, same sandwhich they used to charge less than $5.00 for! Also, if you want to add tomatoe, onion ect keep in mind they actually charge for that too! For being so expensive and not serving enough food to actually fill you, you would think they wouldnt be so CHEAP with their toppings! If youre going to make customers pay a fortune, be a little classier! Its too bad, but they just arent worth it anymore!!!

The Sinclair Grill is the kind of place you dont see very often anymore - a real, authentic, roadside diner, The food is solid, tasty. The soups are homemade and very good. The hotdogs served here are truly outstanding. Weve eaten here many times and have always had personal and friendly service and great food. Greg, the owner, is friendly, outgoing, and takes pride in the food he prepares. The diner is an experience by itself. Memorabilia everywhere. The MSU ice cream is a dessert not to be missed. If youre looking for something a little different, something that stands completely apart from the typical fast food thing, something that takes you back to the "good old days," then this is your place. The Sinclair Grill is small, friendly, unique. Its not just the food, go for the experience.

DO NOT EAT HERE!! Took my family there and will never be going again! First of all, the woman working in the back was constantly cussing and I watched her take at least 4 smoke breaks while I was there. Second of all, the owner Greg was constantly badmouthing his wife, he too was cursing in an open environment while my kids could easily hear what he was saying. On top of that, I witnessed that he was drinking while working which to me is extremely unprofessional! The burger was mediocre and my kids hot dog wasnt cooked all of the way through. The restaurant is a very low class environment and I will not recommend this establishment to anyone.

I had a HORRIBLE experience at the Sinclair Grill the other day. For starters, I received the worst service imaginable from the staff. Not only did it take over a forth five minutes to receive one pulled pork sandwich, I also watched the cook SNEEZE into his hand before continuing to handle the food. I have never been more disgusted! If I were you, I would seriously reconsider dining here.

An old gas station turned into a diner offering pancakes for breakfast to steak for supper, orange juice to hard liquor. Maybe 6-8 flavors of hand dipped MSU ice cream. Yum. It offers about 6 seats at the dining bar and around 7 tables that seat 4 and 1 that seats 6 inside. Lots of signs and what nots to look at on the walls and ceiling. Food is always delicious!

On a Friday, never having been to Sinclairs, we called ahead to see if they had fish. H------ answered & indeed said they had Cod & Pollack starting at 4:00 p.m. When we arrive we are told they only have a fish sandwich. The coffee she brought was old & scummy & were told they were out of lemon for water. A bad experience & probably wont return:(

I ate 1 coney dog and began eating my 2nd and half way a different taste was noticed I looked at the bottom of my hotdog bun and it looked like white cum or spit. I left restaurant immediately after I paid my bill and said nothing. I figure a review will do its did. The cook was the male from detroit, I didnt get his name.

Love this place. Their specialty is their amazing home made corned beef so the reuben and corned beef hah are not to be missed. Always friendly staff including the cooks who frequently come out to chat when they arent too busy. Add that they sell MSU dairy store ice cream and this place is a big hit

I ate lunch there a few months ago. Great burger and fries - you get free small basket if you "check in" on Facebook. Good value for the money and fun retro car-themed atmosphere. Its hard to believe the range of reviews - all 5s and 1s with nothing in between.
