The food and pricing is great. However the service is very poor. This is the second time that we have had dinner at Marcus Grill. Either the servers are poorly trained or they hate their job. We have had better service at fast food restaurants. Tonights server was Kelly. Not be personal. However she dose not care about her job. In fact, I think she hates that she is a server. She would be better as a race car driver. She rushed threw the soups and the complete dinning process. Now I know she know what the soups of the day are. In fact, she might have said what the soups of the day are for the last 6 hours of her shift. Who cares. Its not about her. Its about us. Now dont think that I am picking on her. This is the same service that we received just a week ago. Either the servers have not been trained correctly Or they hate what they do. They rush threw each step of the dinning process. If you hate what you do "find another job". If its management not training - Then - management better get training done. Why? Well, the great food and pricing will not keep Us coming back. Then the servers wont have to rush. No body will be there to rush them. Service is the worse that I have ever had in my life time. (59 years.) Good luck.

We went for dinner. Took a bit of time for the waitress to get to us. She also made a few errors on the meal (e.g. brought the wrong soups and was then a bit abrupt when we told her, gave two of us the others meals which were only identifiable by tasting the perogies and realizing they were switched, then never asked it I wanted another drink, also had a lackluster response when we told her some of the food was not very good). As to the food we started with the crab bites which I though were tasty, but did have a little kick so not great for everyone. Two of us ordered the Marcus combo which was pretty good - came with a good selection of Polish food - only bad part was the city chicken was very dry as they only used pork and was a bit too lean making it dry. The rest of the combo was very good. One of the folks in our party ordered the city chicken which as stated was not very good. The last person ordered the perch which was excellent. Loved the perch and was one of the best I have ever had, and perch is one of my favorite meals so that is saying a lot. I would highly recommend the perch dinner and would go back. Prices are fair, most of the food is very good, service could improve, but was tolerable.

Not good. We went because it was close to home. We went the first time it opened and wasnt thrilled, but thought we would give it another chance after quite some time. The service was slow, the food was marginal and my meal did not come out right the first two attempts. I didnt have the heart to ask for the sautéed onions again that never came out, but the waitress finally noticed and brought them. The onions barely had touched the grill, let alone sautéed so I didnt eat them. The waitress, although nice, made no real attempt to really correct or acknowledge the mistakes. I will not be back. Overall, the food was not great, the experience worse. I make homemade pierogies and know a good one when I have them, but this wasnt the place. I would love to not have to make them and have a great go to restaurant. This isnt the one. Sorry, but I just dont think this is a place to revisit. We dine out often and love great homemade food, but this place could use some food help, not to mention staff that has a bit more customer service and jump in their step.

1 star based on customer service. I just ordered a few dozen of their pirogies for dinner tonight and made three calls to place this order. I called the first time to find out the pricing and the quantity included. Then, my mother called back to place the order once I relayed the information to him. The individual my mother spoke with was very rude on the phone. She placed the order, and had to call back to order one more dozen. When my mother arrived the lady asked if my mother was the one she spoke with, "SEVERAL times" to place this order. Again, the attitude was very snippy. The manager overheard this, and said well there was another call placed for this order. So apparently it is an inconvenience to call more than once to get a catering order. I am pretty sure I wont ever order anything from this place again. Customer service is a huge deal to me, and I hate when I am talked to like that. The manager stood there and did nothing for my mother except give an excuse. Sad.

I want to tell you this was recommended by a lady giving my Husband a eco gram at Beaumont. This is the best food I have ever had out side of the home in 20 years. Sorry to say I would have never went in the place by its name. Marcus Grill. It is not a Grill. It is the best homemade Cooking made by family with love in it. (No I am not family) Dont even know the family.) I was very happy to be recommended. I will defiantly go back. It is about 6 mile from where I live. But well worth the Trip. They need to change the Name to Marcus Home Cooking and Bar. I did not see one person in there eating grill (Burgers/fries) food. But I can bet they are awesome too. The Menu has so many choices. Burger would be my last choice there. (I love burgers) If you want a good Place to eat. This is it. Planning what I want the next time we go back. LOL I give it 10 Stars

So rude!!!..Had carry out order and of course they got it all wrong...turkey dinner...no dressin...gave me old rubbery home fries with beef gravy on top of it and shreds of turkey with turkey gravy!!! Beans and carrots practically raw... chicken and dumpling soup...with not one piece of chicken in it..gave me salad and forgot the dressing...when confronted them about it they had an attitude of..for only a 10 dollar dinner..I should go elsewhere...and I will do that...also be careful of their perogies..I ordered a dozen of the sauerkraut, and was sick from them all night...will be calling the board of health on that ...I shall not go there ever again...

My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant thinking it would good, being that it was very close to my house. My boyfriend ordered fish but it did not taste well at ! When we let the manager know, she said we were wasting her fish and that she would not take it back! W OW I was shocked to say the least!!!So rude !! I dont think I have ever had someone say that to me in a restaraunt!!! To top it off they charged my boyfriends card twice ! Please dont go to this place people need to be treated better when spending their hard earned money!!!
