Parking was a little difficult, but there was a lot of snow and it was a Friday evening so thats excusable. Staff was friedly, fast and efficient. Partions were large (except for the salad). Real mashed potatoes and fresh green beans. The fish tasted good. It was pan fried, light bread and herb seasoning. One problem, I dont believe the Lake Perch is really Lake Perch! Ive eaten alot of Great lakes Perch. The size and shape of the fillets was different, the taste was different. Not sure what type of fish it was. Id probably need genetic testing to find out. Id hazard a guess at Ocean Perch. How about some honesty on the menu

THEY ARE VERY VERY RACIST HERE ! THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE I HAVE EVER FELT, AND THATS SAYING A LOT SEEING HOW I WORKED ALL OVER THE SOUTHERN U.S. FOR YEARS I grew up around the corner and look forward to promoting local business on numerous occasions I walked in and everybody looked at me like what was I doing here on more occasions my food was deliberately not cooked and on another occasion I was there with a girl whose dad on the bar and I could tell that she was explaining to him like I was a good black person and still received multiple looks of disregard and like I was lesser than ! Racist racist racist I wont be going back

We had an absolutely delightful meal at The Engine House...the food was superb, the server was very attentive, and the free jello shots when the train went by the restaurant was a surprise! We both had prime rib and it was perfect, the appetizer sampler was awesome, and their homemade breadsticks were yummy. The food prices are in line with most restaurants in the area. We plan to take my husbands parents there tonight for dinner. Will definitely continue to dine at The Engine House!

I took my wife and a Nun friend of hers, here for dinner on Sunday. My wifes uncle was a Detroit fireman, and she has wanted to go here for along time. The seventy-nine year old Nun who was her teacher when she was eleven, and her, were delighted with this place. Me, Its a sports bar whats not to like? Beyond that I will bring my wife back, becouse the food was over the top. Prices were good and when we are in the area we will be back!

I love this place. It has all the standard bar food items but better made than normal. They also have fresh made pizza which is good. All fairly priced. The interior is nice with large high top tables. The drinks are good and fairly priced. The craft beer selection is not great. You get a free Jello shot if the train goes by while your there. Fun atmosphere and I highly recommend.

Just at the Engine. Prices are reasonable and the pizza was fantastic... my husband and my new favorite! We have now been there several times and have not been disappointed. I recently tried the Eggplant Parmesan which was really good. However... it will be the pizza Ill go back for (yum).

Half off pizza on Tuesdays is the only thing we go for and we have to wait until the evening shift comes in because you eat your entire pizza before the server comes with refills in the afternoon. Its disappointing to have to wait 20 minutes to have your order taken.

The place is amazing! The service was wonderful and I cannot express that the food and atmosphere was perfect for celebrating my Birthday with my family. Tip: Do not forget to mention/ask your server if they can hear the train coming! Jello shots appear at your table.

I got the brisket and it was not the same as it was last week they ruined it by dumping barbecue sauce I got it to go so I did not realize it until I got home it was a total waste of my $30 I eat there four times a week but I wont be going back

The food here is outstanding, the wait staff and bartenders are fast and friendly, the atmosphere is exactly what I like...a lot of brick and wood and nice lighting. T.V.s all over for sports games. The pizza is some of the best Ive ever had!

Service was very slow for our family, but the pizza and bread was very good. The salad was very bad though and the meat wasnt cut up at all. Overall the place looked nice and the food was pretty good but service was slow and salad was bad.

I actually thought the prices were a little high (perch was $18) but the food was good. Server was very nice, but she was taking care of a full house. They definitely needed more staff. Will try it again for the burgers or pizza.

Pizza was good, prices are on par with what you expect. The crowd on a saturday afternoon was older than what you see in downtown Mt. Clemens. Service was as good as anywhere else. Nothing to complain about.

Pretty good food. Service is good. A little tip, the hostesses stand is on the parking lot side of the building. If you come in from the street you could go unnoticed for a while.

Another classic old bar/restaurant in Mt Clemens. The interior decor is, well, fire house related. Great pizza, its all I ever eat when Im there.
