Went here based in a recommendation from a friend. The food is good and portions are nice but its not enough to cover for poor service. I went after church and to be expected it was busy. Keep in mind Im a towering figure and its impossible to look through me, pass me, around me, let alone get by me without altering your steps but somehow it happened here. I stood at the register for five minutes before anyone asked me if I had been helped. There were no less than six girls working the line as well as a gentleman who I assume was the manager sitting people. After I ordered it took another thirty minutes before I got my food. A lady who ordered a Mexican omelette with fruit and pancakes managed to eat her entire meal before I even got mine. She was slight frame and ate her food slowly. Very disappointed in the service. The staff were friendly to other people, sat them quickly and were quick to get there orders. I asked for a sec to look at the menu and immediately knew what I wanted and then had to wait an eternity for someone to take my order. The chicken cordon bleu omelette was good when I got it. Chunks of chicken and ham was a nice combination. Its hard to mess up hash Browns or pancakes and this place did not. Though theres nothing unique about either. Usually bad service and good food is a wash and I would give it three stars but this was excessive. And even though it was busy at first it did slow down and my help was still slow. Probably not going back.

Unfortunate. I has family in from out of state and I was looking to impress. With a name like Jonny Cakes Cafe and a menu that looked delicious we couldnt resist. However, I wish we had. The food was ok at best. We had 4 adults and a child. We each got different meals; all breakfast. The breakfast potatoes were extremely dry and flavorless. The French toast was also flavorless. The waitress offered to bring hash browns but they were soggy and undercooked. Pancakes were dark and hard. I ordered eggs with cheese but they were overcooked and the cheese undercooked and just on the top of the eggs. The bottom line is this, the name and menu suggest awesomeness and it is far from awesome. The best part of this place was our server, Nicole. She was friendly, attentive, and personable. We chose this place because the name is fabulous and the menu online was inviting but we were sorely disappointed.

I was really excited about this place because of the reviews, and when we arrived, the food looked great. However, after waiting 40 minutes for eggs Benedict, the food arrived cold and the eggs were raw. When we alerted the server, she said "thats not in my control, I dont cook it" and one of the staff members said "dont bother with them, theyre not worth it." Not joking. Management offered to comp the food,, but by that point it had been over an hour and I hadnt eaten. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone, unless you enjoy cold, raw eggs and verbal abuse.

Went in there on a Thursday lunch the place was busy and after taking out order we had to wait 55 minutes to get our food every time we ask what was taking so long we were told there was only 1 cook the kitchen its too small and there is only so much he can do !!!!! Finely after getting our food it was extremely cold with with no flavor !!! My daughter asked about her roast never got it ... I paid $45 for nothing we didnt even eat our food ..

I was very pleased with the pancakes in fact Im looking forward to trying the waffle. IF I GO BACK Though here is the problem and why I gave 3 stars I had corned beef hash with eggs. The corned beef was overcooked to the point of tough and chewy, leaving it mostly inedible. The eggs appeared fried, I asked for scrambled and there is a difference, too me.

Describe your experience where do I start when I can in the wait was atrocious full of people and very loud and once we were seated our order was taken quickly although it took millennium and most people that got here after us left before we got out food besides the slow service the waitress kept saying we were next on a repeat for about 25 minutes

Spent some time looking for a regular breakfast place and I may have finally found it. Food was great. Service was quick and friendly. Time from ordering to receiving food had to have been less than five minutes. Very satisfied and I will return.

After waiting a loooong time for our food, it was disappointing. My turkey burger was marked as a specialty on the menu. It was small and bland. The bun was stale. With my wifes eggs Benedict, the egss were good but the ham anduddin werent.

Excellent service the cooks are the issue. Pancakes pretty good when they are not burnt, omelets pretty good when they are not over cooked. So three stars but I will not be going back tired of the hit or missed with properly cooked food.

Its breakfast food. When did breakfast become a $35 bill for two? The pancakes and skillets were good, but its nothing to drive out of your way for. Place was clean, and service was good. Just to pricey, and nothing fancy for the money.

Food is OK quality and filling. For 10.50 for chicken and waffles, I expected something a little more than frozen chicken on top of a waffle plain. The meal was filling, but at the prices, I wold expect a more interesting faire.

Great breakfast place. The food is wonderful and the service is good. My kids LOVE the Belgian waffles with nutella, strawberries, bananas and, of course, real whip cream. We eat here usually every weekend for breakfast.

Our first visit there today. The chicken and waffles were great and chicken tortilla soup was tasty. Food was worth the money. The staff was courteous and friendly but a little slow. All in all, we enjoyed our breakfast.

Good prices, and most entrees come with a side of pancakes. The orange juice is the best Ive ever had---I didnt know orange juice could even be that good. My favorite breakfast joint in the area.

Great service and a lot of variety on their menu and plenty of healthy choices. Todays Greek omelet was kind of dry, though. Open for breakfast and lunch. Good meeting place for conversation.

Food was very good, wonderful selection. Our waitress, Victoria was excellent. Did feel like we waited a long time to eat, but the restaurant was extremely busy. Food was worth waiting for.

Great food. Been there a few times now. Disappointed in the service only one of the times, but even then the food was good. Place is always packed. Get there early and be prepared to wait.

Lots of good food options and prices. Very clean and nice inside. It was very busy when I went. The waitress was mostly polite, but acted rudely at times when we asked for basic things.
