First off, let me begin by saying this...."I am not a fan of Sushi per se, but I LOVE this place.". I go here for two things: The Ribs & The atmosphere. The ribs are the best I have ever had, bar none. I have had them here 10+ times and not only are they consistent, but they are scrumptious every single time. Fall off the bone juicy with just enough sauce as to not overwhelm the flavor of the meat. Love the pairing of the huge bowl of waffle fries as well. The atmosphere reminds me of a kool New York or Chicago lounge....: awesome eclectic music that does not drown out your conversation, just enough lighting to hint at sexiness but yet enough to survey the surroundings. I also like the lay out of the establishment...There is a distinct demarcation of restaurant and lounge, without being to overt and still keeping with the decor. Although I am not a sushi fan, by the looks of the way the patrons faces as they dine on the exotic dishes and the fact that the place is ALWAYS packed, I am quite sure that the sushi is just as tasty as the ribs are!! Get there early, stay there late and come back often!!! You wont be disappointed.

Sushi was horrible save your money My cousin ordered food and when she went to pick it up she was ignored for 15 mins by the host till she approached him when she got the order we made it home and they mixed all the sushi together we are avid sushi eaters we eat it all the time and never has any other restaurant mixed the sushi together I am pregnant so therefore I am unable to eat certain sushi which I had no clue of telling what was safe and what wasnt as it had no labels when we called the guy was very rude we were gonna return it but decided to just eat what we know they also didnt tell us they add gratuity so we were charged an extra amount for that I just hope my friend doesnt get sick and I dont get sick cause if we do we will be back up there with an issue STAY CLEAR GO TO TREE TEA SUSHI KO SUSHI OR ASIAN SUSHI they are cheaper but taste better and are excellent

Although this place has a great vibe, it is obvious now that the crowds are there for the vibe and cocktails, and not the food or service. We arrived and were seated, a couple extra people showed up, and we were refused the extra space, even though we said we were happy to wait for the 1 hour wait time they were experiencing at the front seating desk. The table we requested remained open for the next 20 min. We had to fetch our own chopsticks as the servers were constantly removing them with our plates and not replacing them. The SUSHI was sub par, not chilled and small portions. Well priced though. We ended up having 10 people at a table for 6. The words from the manager/owner after a complaint email were "we have minimal seating, maybe PF CHANGs will suit you better next time".

My boyfriend and I went there thinking it was a good restaurant based off of the atmosphere. Looks are deceiving because the food was terrible. The sushi was all filler and the fish wasnt even fresh. I have never been to a Japanese restaurant that ground up its yellowtail for a regular yellowtail roll. We asked for avocado as an extra thinking it would be in the sushi. WRONG. It was on a small dish cut into thin slices. Why would avocado be on the side and not in the sushi?? The octopus salad barely had any octopus and it was swimming in salad dressing. The waitress was rude and gave better service to big parties or "supposed" big tippers. If you like a nice ambience and ok priced drinks then this place alrite. However, if you have taste buds then this place is terrible.

I LOVE Ronin for the ambience, sushi, and happy hour nightly from 5-7 with food & drink specials, but I have one complaint. Id been wanting to try the Kobe Sliders ($21) for quite a while but even the happy hour price is expensive ($16). I gave in last night, and it was a total rip-off. The sliders themselves were top-notch but the presentation and set up was ridiculous. You only get 2 sliders, which are completely overshadowed by the basketball-sized mound of half-burnt shoestring fries served alongside them. It almost seemed like a joke; my boyfriend and I thought it was so bizarre! I was hoping another slider was hidden in the pile of fries, but there wasnt. It was really weird. I will definitely be going back to Ronin but Ill be sticking to the sushi.

I have no idea how this restaurant is getting anything but 1s. The food here is terrible. We had the Udon soup along with some sushi. The Udon soup tastes like it was cooked in soy sauce. Its extremely salty. The sushi options are very limited. Theres mostly filler and very little actual fish. The actual dining area was nice but it was hot. The windows are open on account of people wanting to have an open view to the outside. It was an 80 degree day outside and it was pretty much that inside. It was very uncomfortable. I think people come here for the ambiance because unless you like actual taste buds the food here is abysmal.

Their sushi, drinks and ambiance are all excellent. It is a little pricey, the freshness of the sushi makes up for this though. My only complaint is that they have Kobe Sliders, as in Kobe Beef. There are 8 places in the entire US that are certified to serve Kobe Beef, and will present you with a certificate upon request. They need to change this, as there is 100% no way it is Kobe Beef, especially at that price. Kobe Beef is over $50/ounce. Of all the restaurants in the US that actually serve Kobe Beef, they are in New York, California, Nevada, Texas, and Hawaii.

Worst service ever. Katie the hostess and Kevin the manager very rude and appeared to be discriminatory towards families. We can only assume they dont like families with kids. They Refused to seat our entire party at the same time even after we agreed to split into two groups of 4 and 6. Apparently they cant seat a party larger than four. Not even when there are three empty tables sitting side by side. The one star is for the servers. They have no control over the poor customer service provided by the management and hostess stand.

I am Japanese and I can tell you that the Sushi quality of this restaurant is below average, but the price is above average...meaning you will pretty much be pay for its atmosphere. If you want a great sushi for a great price, go to Noble Fish in Clawson, Michigan. Small sushi counter in the back of Japanese grocery store is always crowded, but is my favorite. The only reason I like going to the restaurant is because the resturant is where I went for a first date with my current significant other.

Terrible service. When I found a hair in my spicy tuna tacos the server was less than helpful. When I expressed to her my problem all she had to say was "ok", and walked away. She didnt ask if there was anything else I wanted, or send the manager. When I finally asked to speak with him he didnt seem very accommodating either. Its obvious that they dont really care about their customers. I paid my bill and got outa there, my stomach was turning after seeing that hair. I wont be back again.
