I come here all the time, its one of my favorite places to eat. But the new management is terrible. I came in the other day with a friend. Wasnt too busy, but there was about 4 groups of people waiting to order, yet the girls spent at least six minutes putting together carry-outs or acting like they were doing something while we waited. Finally the person in front of us asks to be helped. I could tell these girls were new, Ive never seen them before and they looked inexperienced. Usually businesses put inexperienced workers with at least one experienced worker so things run smoothly, oh well not a huge problem. We ordered, got drinks, and sat down. I looked down at my feet and the floor was filthy. I looked next to be and there was still rice sitting on my seat. I then looked all around and I could see that there was food EVERYWHERE. Its very uncomfortable and disgusting sitting in a restaurant with food thrown all over the place. There was only about 5 tables taken out of at least 30. Theres no excuse for the place being this filthy. Then our food arrived. Its usually different every time I get it, but there was a huge lack of sauce on our pei wei spicy. The chicken was just barely glazed with it, which is disappointing. Advice: Hire helpful/energetic staff members, have the manager get crackin on someone to keep the place clean (it has never been this bad and Ive been to this specific location at least 35 times). And put more sauce on the chicken, thats weak. Also no fortune cookies? Thats never happened before.

I walked in at 3pm, to pick up my 3pm order. The lady that was working behind the counter could not be be bothered to acknowledge me that I walked in. She turned around and walked by me and couldnt even say, "Hello, be with you in a minute". After waiting for 5 minutes while she was more concerned with scratching her head than talking to customers, finally someone else had to come over and take care of me. Not only was this workers attitude an issue, she was arguing with the cooks and looked really unprofessional. Not to mention the fact that my 3pm order wasnt ready until 3:10. Even though they didnt have my food ready or say anything to me when I walked in, I didnt even get a sorry for taking so long on the order. Overall pretty poor experience at this location and I will not be coming back. Lastly, it wasnt even busy, there were 4 tables and two of which that were already eating.

I went to the Rochester store for the first time. I was told they were out of beef and shrimp. I ordered the Mongolian chicken as a substitute for the beef. It was supposed to be the regular size vs small. It came with 6 small pieces of chicken, no mushrooms or scallions and very little sauce. I asked a girl that worked their why such a small portion and minus the other ingredients? She told me "what can she do" and walked away. I expected a manager to come over and it never happened. Meanwhile other customers were complaining and they told new patrons walking in that they ran out of food. At no time did they offer any refunds. This by far was the strangest most disappointing dining experience I have ever had. I left hungry My coupon was for 33% not for 3% of a meal.

Got a carry out order. Wish I could give zero. Both shrimp dishes didnt have enough sauce and the breading on the shrimp was thick and greasy. Hot and sour soup was thick not very flavorful. So bad I ended up throwing it out. Pork egg rolls were coated in grease and a puddle of grease in the bottom of the box. Disgusting. Even after trying to reheat still inedible. Ditched those too. Was so bummed with the waste of money and basically no dinner, that I wrote the manager. Not sure Ill go there again.

Shame to selling these food. Their mango California roll, crab is just dipped and size is baby finger nailsize and we canceled. Ordered two other meals but rice is not cooked and they kept bring same uncooked rice. First young lady manager came after 5 minute watched us and she said that she cannot refund the food instead of one free letters wrap and one small entree. Wait another manager and explain again finally received money back. Lost my reward free meal but happy not eat this food.

Typical Pei Wei, good food for a good price. Location is right near downtown Rochester, the restaurant itself is very clean and is very spacious. The food is prepared fast like most places, although during busy hours it can get quite slow. I personally like the honey seared chicken, its not spicy and has a great taste to it. Top it off with a cup of wonton soup and youve got a mean everyone can enjoy!

Used to love coming here and picking up our carry out using on line ordering. The last two times we have had terrible experience with the customer service. We waited 20 extra minutes for our order with no explanation as to why it was not even started when we showed up at the appointed time. We will not be coming back to this Pei Wei location and have decided to try some of the other Asian options in the area.

The food was very good, per normal. As usual though, I asked for an extra bowl of sauce, twice. Order arrived without it, again. Had to wait while food got cold for sauce, again. Also, wear very WARM clothes if you eat there. I keep my house at 67*, but I froze in here, and so did my friend. Id be shocked if the temperature is above 55*. They definitely dont want you to stay and eat, because its just too COLD!

Was in tonight for a pick up after a 1 year hiatus. Waited 30 minutes for a 15 minute order. Just as bad as the last time I was there. Vegetables and rice were under cooked.Called to complain and they dont answer the phone. Due to the on-lime coupon they dont have a lot of their menu items. I think this is my last time tryimg Pei Wei. Id give it less than 1 star but it womt let me

I enjoy Pei Weis menu items, but this location is a joke. Something is messed up EVERY time I order from here and the service is never friendly. Not to mention they change their menu all the time. One time I called and had to go down the menu because they were out of MULTIPLE dinner items. Seriously, who runs this place? Is it privately owned?

My food is always excellent when we eat here. My wife, on the other hand, is not so lucky. They often forget to add parts of her dish. Wheres the cilantro? Limes? This isnt Extra Spicy. Stuff like that. I suppose I dont have an issue with my meals because all I do is extra spice and thats it. I chomp it down like a champ, no question.

This is the Pei Wei in our neighborhood. Its Under New Management and hes a gem. When we found out that the Thai curry was no longer on the menu he felt bad and gave us a card so that we could have our dinner free next time in. He seems to get along with his staff and the food was terrific as usual. Well be heading back soon.
