We called our lunch order in for 2pm pick up. Lady could barely speak English or comprehend either after repeating , shrimp and broccoli small WITH chop sticks. My brother went to pick up food and was charged for dinner size order. He tried to explain and showed her the menu, he left and refused to pay for something we werent ordering. The restaurant was filthy and the older lady came out of the back yelling . There were 6 people behind him and they left . We will never go to this place again

Ok, SO. Good news first, kind staff. To the bad... I ordered sesame chicken dinner. There is a 1.00+ charge for brown rice, no problem. Big problem comes in when I order white rice, I found a medium strand of black hair in the rice. My chicken was EXTREMELY dry and chewy, to the point where it was actually INEDIBLE. 10.00 for sesame chicken dinner, at Oceania Inn, its 6.50. I believe the higher stars on the review listings are family members/friends of the owners.

We ordered the -chicken lo mein, -broccoli and beef (brown rice), -orange chicken, and chicken fried rice for takeout. Vegetables were very fresh and food was not heavily seasoned. Even though the orange chicken was denoted "hot", it was not, but there are whole roasted chilis in the dish to add spice if eaten. Food was ready in 20 minutes on a Saturday night. The total for our bill was $32. Would recommend and will order from again.

We read reviews and decided to try Asian Express. Food looked and smelled good. We had General chicken. It was not very spicy and chicken coating was soft and chewy. Pork in sweet and sour pork had same soft and chewy coating. The Fried Crab Rangoon was the same way. Wrap was soft and chewy. Inside had good flavor. All three of these dishes were fried to a good gold color only they were tough and chewy and not crispy.

I was lucky enough to experience the place with a group of Chinese students from OU. To a "westerner" it looks like your plain old average sweet and sour meat / kung pao chicken kind of place, but if you go with the right people its like another whole world opens up before you. My recommendation, make Chinese friends, offer to take them out to dinner, and let them do the ordering and have your mind blown.

Food is tasty, meat is good quality, and is served hot. Vegetables are uncooked, which Im not used to, but are fresh. This place is halfway between a restaurant and fast food. If you need something you have to ask, but you pay after you eat. Employees are nice, and recognize me when I come in, but make sure they read back your order if you speak English. I highly recommend eating here.

The food is top notch and very fresh here. You can order online or by phone which is nice. Keep in mind the prices are higher when ordering online but not that much higher. Also, grab a takeout menu because there are coupons at the bottom of each paper menu! 15% off $100 purchase or Free Crab Rangoon with $20 purchase or Free Sesame or General Tsos chicken with $35 purchase!

Only been here once, so take that for what its worth. Called in a carry out order which was ready exactly when they said it would be. However the almond boneless chicken I ordered wasnt all that great. Would be willing to go back and try something else out, however with as many other Chinese food options there are around town, Ill try some others first.

Very nice people, ok prices, food very fresh but absolutely not Asian in any way: no flavor at all in any dish. No use of soy sauce, hoisin, hot pepper, ginger, any seasoning- even in dishes marked hot. How can you ruin basics like hot and sour soup or fried rice? Dont know but dont waste your money here if Chinese food is what you want.

Found this restaurant through work. Really good food, when we order take out for meetings the portion sizing is huge. They were direct on this and we still had way more food than we needed. People who know will vouch for this being authentic! Small customer space, but still very nice simple meal!

Really great Chinese food that is quick and inexpensive. Blows Oceania Inn and other surrounding places out of the water. It is primarily a takeout restaurant but they do offer a couple tables in case you need to dine in. The cooks do a great job working the woks and they always have a daily special.

This place has great Asian food. However, its a small place, and during lunch hours, you cant even reach the cashier to place an order for takeout. All the chairs are taken and theres no room to move around people sitting at the tables. I wouldnt recommend going there during these times.

Ordered the shrimp fried rice. Was one of the best ones Ive had in Michigan for a great price and Ive tried at least 10 to 15 other restaurants. Not to much seasoning which is great because you can really taste the food. Will definitely make more trips here in the future.

A casual and unassuming location. Can seat a party of 5. Pick from the Chinese traditional menu and the offerings posted on the wall. Delicious! Served as its ready, piping hot. I recommend the snow peas, dumplings, hot chicken and fried pork with egg plant.

I love them and everything but the last time I went my food was burnt. Of course I didnt realize till I was already home since I got it to go. Not satisfying. But usually they have some pretty tasty options and some of the best egg rolls Ive had.

I would give it 2.5 stars. My kids loved the lomein but the portion was small. I had padthai and it tasted terrible, too salty and none of that sweet/spicy salty taste.. The sweet and sour chicken was good and finally the green bean and beef were OK

My roommate and I are college kids at OU and we had the bourbon and almond chicken and the almond chickens coating was chewy and the sauce with both meals were somewhat really sweet? Plus the eggrolls werent very crispy, overall it wasnt that great :/

First of all ask for the Chinese menu, the English menu is just basic American dishes. The Chinese dishes are much better that are pretty comparable to mainland China. Try options off the Chinese menu and its definitely good.

They have changed the owner. They give hidden menu to asian customers, which shows authentic northeast Chinese dishes. If you want to try real Chinese food other than orange chicken, ask for the menu!

美式中餐,味道虽然跟正宗中餐不太一样,但还比较可口,老板娘很亲切

Egg rolls were good, but that was definitely NOT beef we were eating in the fried rice and pepper steak. Too light and rubbery....too much liquid smoke in the fried rice. Never again....

The food is balanced in seasoning and salinity. Also the use of fat is moderate. Very good food at this price point. I tried wanton soup, General Tso chicken and Shrimp Lo mein.

It is okay. Serving size was moderate at best. They seem disorganized with different prices on different menus for the same thing. At least it is not pizza or a sandwich.

Excellent authentic Chinese food. I have lived in China so can speak authoritatively. Be sure and ask for the authentic Chinese menu instead of the regular American menu.
