My wife and I chose to eat at this restaurant. We were seated in a corner underneath a plasma screen TV playing ESPN...not my idea of a Japanese Steakhouse. Waitress took our drink orders and left, eventually returned (without drinks) and took our appetizer and entree orders. Waitress disappeared and we sat for nearly 20 minutes. The hostess brought our appetizer on its plate only, with no additional plates. So, we placed napkins down to act as plates to keep from making a mess. Table next to us arrived after us, and our same waitress took their orders and disappeared and came back moments later with their drinks. I got her attention as she was walking away and asked her if we could get our drinks. She apologized and left. Another 20 minutes goes by without me being able to get the attention of our waitress. Waitress comes back and gives us our soup and salad AND entree all at the same time. Miso soup (which, as one reviewer already said is just beef broth) and house salad with ginger dressing. The iceberg lettuce was frozen, and they put so much ginger dressing on that I could have pushed the lettuce down, and all you would have seen was dressing. It was so much, I couldnt eat it. The waitress asked if there was anything else she could get us, and I told her we would appreciate our drinks. She apologized again and left. We tried to wolf down our soup so our entrees would still be hot, and picked at our salad before pushing those away because of too much dressing, and started on our entrees. I order some teriyaki steak dish, and my wife ordered the chicken teriyaki. Nothing spectacular, but not bad either. After being halfway through our entrees, the waitress arrived with our drinks and rushed off, only for us to find out she completely messed up my wifes drink. We finished our entrees and the waitress delivered our check to us and delivered the check to the table next to us and disappeared. I took probably less than a minute to retrieve my card from my pocket and sat waiting to hand it to the waitress. The waitress came and collected the bill from the other table first, and left. She came back, gave them their receipt and then left. The other table finished and walked out, with me still sitting there holding the bill. We waiting for no joke nearly 15 minutes trying to get the waitress attention with our bill. It got to the point where I had my card and bill in one hand, and had them raised above my head like a schoolboy trying to answer a question, waiving my arm trying to flag her down. Our waitress was busing the tables around us and Im trying to get her attention and shes paying us no mind. Eventually I got up, and found another waitress, handed her my bill and my card and asked her to find our waitress so we can leave. We sat for about 2 minutes and the hostess returned with my card and receipt. I can honestly say that this had been the WORST dining experience I have EVER had in my 32 years of being on this planet...and Ive been to some bad places before. Ive received better service in fast-food restaurants. $0 tip...first time I have ever left one, but in this case, I sincerely think it was merited. I would NEVER recommend this place to a friend, or family member.

2 out of the 4 times I have tried this place they have completely failed to acknowledge my guest and I even exsisted. Once we waited at the door for several minutes and no one even looked our direction so we left and went somewhere else. I tried them again recently. We were seated this time but the server, who came to the table right beside ours several times, never greeted us. So after waiting an ample 7 minutes we left and again went somewhere else. If you actually get waited on its ok food at a decent price.

I love eatting here and does my boyfriend. We love everything from the soup to the salad to the meal. The seafood sauce is amazing. I always order terriyaki chickhen. We order every week and bring it home to enjoy. All the times we have eatten at the resturant we both have enjoyed it. I shall see you guys tonight when I go pick my order.

Unimpressive but passable. They deliver a pretty good japanese experience with hibachi and sushi dishes at a better value than most other places in town. I tend to favor quality over value a little so I prefer some other places like Moris or Aligatou. That being said, for someone who needs to be more budget-concious its a great choice.

a couple of my boys and i go here all the time. every time we go its amazing. food on point. i have even taken my girlfriend a few times and still had a great time. its worth it. i always get the vsu bowl with steak and chicken. its worth the $13

I loved this place all the way around! Friendly staff, excellent service, extensive and reasonable menu, and wonderful calming music playing that made my experience an all in one bundle of excellentness!

First of all, what hibachi place doesnt put eggs in their fried rice? They have decent service so i will give them a single star. Because my sister found sand in her scallop, I will not come here again.

Superb value, TASTY food, SWIFT service, and an adorable little place to eat. No disappointments in any way I recommend THIS as the go to place for Japanese for lunch!
