Today is the very last time I will ever eat here. I quite eating here years ago for the same reason Im writing this review. I decided to give it another chance but obviously that was a huge mistake and waste of money. The food is NEVER hot, always luke warm or cold. Egg rolls and spring rolls are supposed to be crispy, not soggy, they also shouldnt taste like fish. There were a few other food items I had off the buffet that also had a fishy taste which is down right nasty when the food is already colder than it should be. The other issue I have is the fact the employees here are obviously only there for the paycheck, never once have I seen a single one of them smile or try to act friendly. This is nothing more than a trashy ghetto buffet Chinese people wouldnt even eat. Place should be shut down, not sure how they received such great ratings unless everyone is oblivious to what decent food should taste like or they are having the employees write them. This IS NOT a 4.3 star restaurant. It doesnt even deserve one star.

Rice in a pan instead of rice cooker. Made for very dry hard rice. Food was soggy. Blackened chicken had good flavor everything was very minimal flavor. Im a huge general tso fan and this was the worst Ive ever had. Cant understand why this place is rated so high. Either the people rating it are lazy or have never had good Chinese before. Price was over normal for a buffet. They like to fill drinks half way with soda as a way I assume to cheap out on drinks

My fiance is a tow truck driver for reeves towing across the street, and one night he got a call while we were eating here. I had asked the waitress if i could put more food on his plate , seeing as he only had 2 bites of food before he got the call, and take the food home for him that was on the plate. She told me she would charge me for the meal AND charge me for a take out box also. I was not happy at all and nor was my fiance!!

Newly renovated and under new ownership this is a lovely family friendly dining experience. We found it clean and appealing and the staff was friendly. Jade buffet has gracious multi tasking waitresses and the variety of food is excellent. Having a large group with diverse food likes, we found this buffet had plenty to satisfy everyone.

The food is really good and the prices are very reasonable. It is currently being completely remodeled. I do not think the star rating is related to Michlien type star rating you would find in Europe and large cities rather it is a rating of how satisfied you are with the restaurants food, quality and service.

Awful service, rude employees, and they stole some of my stuff. I bought a few things from their little shop out front and forgot the bag at my booth when I left. When I returned a few minutes later they said that they didnt find anything but the items I bought were back on the shelves.

It certainly has changed with the new owners. The food is hot and flavorfull. Sushi is one of my faves. The meat in the dishes is nice and tender, not dried out chunks of jerky, that most buffets have. We go about once a week and they have so far maintained the quality.

My wife and I live out of town but I grew up in the area. Every time we visit my parents we work on a plan to make it here because all of our Chinese places where we live are sub par and the food here is great. Our favorite is the black pepper chicken.

Hands down the best Chinese buffet Ive ever been to! The black pepper chicken is fantastic. It was just remodeled and is super clean! We live near Traverse City and have family in the area and we always have to stop when were in town!

You wouldnt think in the middle of a city like Owosso you would find a Chinese buffet thats worth the money. But this is actually a really great place to eat. Extremely nice staff and good food. A must try for sure.

Some creepy looking guy will put a receipt on your table after only two small plates and tell you to leave! Im considering sueing the place for falsely advertising as an "all you can eat". What a joke

They went under new management about a year or 2 ago and you can really tell the inside is very clean and look nice and the food is so good they also have a Mongolian bbq part of their buffet
