This place is absolutely delightful! Very friendly! All their products are delicious! Its a little expensive and for the amount you pay for ice cream. I think they could at least give more scoops in the regular size cups as well as the brownies be cut maybe 1 or 2 inches bigger. My only compliant is the service hours. I have been to the establishment several times and they were closed during posted business hours. Sometimes back twice in the same day only to find them still closed. I can only remember of one time a note being posted. Its as though you have to guess when they are opening and calling sometimes is very awkward. Maybe they need more employees or least post different opening signs as this could be an inconvenience for someone wanting to visit the establishment on a lunch break. Although their products are delicious seriously thinking of trying other vegan shops in the surrounding area. They seem to run out of items lot as well! I have visited 9/22/16 at 3 and they were closed. again 9/23/19 12:35 closed. Business hours say Tuesday-Saturday 12-7pm

I work in Southfield and me and my three coworkers attempted to purchase ice cream after walking to the shop. This was on a Tuesday at 2:30. The hours posted indicated that they should have been open but they were not! After getting back to my office, I called the business. A woman answered with hello. I had to ask if it was the Piece of Cake Café. She said yes instead of the name of the business. I explained my story asked why they werent open when the hours posted indicate otherwise. I was told that they didnt have a sign to indicate when theyre closed. To me, this explanation made no sense. I asked how they expect to run a successful business this way and I was provided with the same information about the lack of a sign. No apology or reason why the store was closed was provided. Stupid. Needless to say, I will NOT attempt another visit.

I used to love this place, good vegan options -- until the lady argued on the phone with me about a pastry that supposedly "didnt" have nuts - but did/or shared equipment. My Daughter had an anaphylaxis shock, broke in hives. It was a nightmare, spending her 3rd birthday at Beaumont hospital. Be aware to those with allergies. This place does not declare allergic foods.

We found out about this place because of a coupon buy one item get one scoop of ice cream free. We were pleased, my husband had the black cherry ice cream and I had the berry sorbet both organic two thumbs up. Atmosphere was very cute and cozy, tables and chairs. Priced reasonably for organic. Plan to return and try out their cupcakes next. Definitely worth a visit.

This place is always open when me or numerous co-workers and staff have patronized this Very Delicious Pastry Cafe, we also use there catering services for large events and office parties. This Business is the place for Quality, very tasty desserts and Excellent Service!!!
