This is one of the worst cases of customer service I have ever experienced. Stopped in for a quick breakfast with my fiance. Our cashier was great. He recommended a customization to our order and we went with it. When our food was ready I saw it sitting there and had to come up and ask if it was ours. Which they finally figured out it was. Upon getting back to our table we realized they had screwed it up and mixed up what went on what sandwich. When I asked if they could fix it. The person behind the counter rolled their eyes at me. I apologized for being difficult but at the same point one should get what they pay for. They said they would fix it but then called me back up to tell me I was wrong and they had made everything right. I showed then the receipt and the manager stepped in to confirm that in fact they had screwed it up. We clarified what was wrong and I sat down while they remade our order. They called me back a few minutes later and much to our dismay the order was again wrong with sandwich items being mixed between the sandwiches. This time I went to the cashier who first helped us and asked for the manager. She came out and could immediately see it was wrong again. She handled the situation well but seemed annoyed with us for pointing out the mistake. She comped us for the breakfast but they did not correct it. I had one bit and left my sandwich there. It was terrible and lacked any flavor to the sausage. I will never come back in here again.

Worst customer service there could possibly be, my bud and I went in for a cup of water since it was a very hot day. Cashier was alright but the General Manager was the worst person ever. She banned us for asking for water. She said "do you go to steak houses or a fancy place for water." So thats what we did. We went to a nice french play down the street. I would highly recommend it over there people and their atmosphere cant go wrong. So they gave us some cups of water so we went back to panera to rub it in the general managers face. She said "glad now you know where to get it, dont come back if you do Ill call the cops and put your pictures on our windows sure people know your not welcome in our building." She gave us this much trouble over a cup of water this is a joke I would not recommend panera downtown Birmingham in Michigan to anyone all because the general manager is the most unfriendly grouchiest person ever.

Awful, awful experience here. I work right by the building, Ive been to this Panera twice. The first time they gave me the wrong sandwich they switched it out and it was not a big deal. Recently, I went again and was extremely disrespected by one of the workers, i was basically yelled at for ordering after breakfast was over by a food preparer, even though the cashier ran my card and did not inform me of this. The manager refunded me, which I think was not enough, after this worker was extremely unprofessional and is STILL THERE. I have never wrote a review anywhere but after my recent experience I have to say i will not be going to a Panera again.

Surprising, overall lack of pride at this, what should be, a hot location. Online orders in plain print not followed, soda machine so dirty I cringed while filling my cup. Soup signs from yesterday still on the board at 11am, and even let my friend order one without knowing it was yesterdays soup. Then took ten minutes to fill a cup of french onion soup after she chose a new one. Pass this one up, a definite black eye for Panera.

Wowwwwww!!! I ordered a smoothie and it was as thin as water. When I advised them of the problem, the employee fixed the smoothie. She was pleasant but Panera bread failed to show the employees how to make the $5.00 smoothies that they charge us for. BTW...my second smoothie was good.

I work in Birmingham so Im here a lot and every time Im here their employees seem like they dont want to be here. They are not friendly and they are sometimes rude when they are busy. They think they can treat their customers with no respect when they are busy which is unacceptable.

Dont go at lunch time. Staff has no idea how to plan for demand & they were out of the most popular soups. No notification to the customers until we had already paid and were waiting. Salads are wilted & over-dressed too.

Theres this server named Rob, I wanted to share what an incredible server he was. Im usually the first to land bad reviews but he gives panera a good name. Hes on top of it. If I were local Id offer him a job.

Very slow service in the morning. There is always a line and only 1-2 cashiers. There seems to be no sense of urgency. Use the app and pick up, other wise youll wait a long time.

Great place to enjoy a cup of coffee and get some work done. The staff is very friendly and I love their strawberry smoothie too. I would recommend this place to friends

One of the more busy Paneras due to good location. Service is decent. Is at times more dirty than other Paneras due to high turn over rate & lots of little kids.
